Why am I unable to ask people questions? I'd rather ruin my own life by avoiding a certain task than to have one quick 2 minute conversation that'd improve my life in a heartbeat. (I know the answer, this is a rhetorical question. I am deeply afraid of humiliation. my nervous system interprets every social situation no matter how benign as threatening)

best advice I can give you as someone who studies psychology their entire life. go and do some exposure therapy. otherwise cope and die
