The internet never forgets. Don't do anything unusual in front of a camera or you'll become an outcast for life, everywhere on earth.

not really at all actually, the internet has been so flooded with people doing that shit on purpose for fleeting fame that there is no shame anymore and you would be forgotten fairly quickly. this was true maybe ten years ago but now everything is whatever. nobody cares if your nudes are leaked either or if you shared a racist meme at 16. that sort of public shaming has ended.

true facts though. It is very much forver

well, maybe for you it is. screencaps are more damning than video. maybe your coworkers will never know it was you being humiliated when they laugh about it to your face and try to get you to agree, but you will. you will know.

It still happens though.

was this supposed to be a rebuttal? my foot also goes up your ass. unfortunately that does not mean my foot is lodged in your asshole at all times, wriggling my toesie woesies around your intestinal lining.

It isnt forever at all. Things on the internet last on average maybe 20 years. After that info gets just deleted. It is called bitrot. Ain't nobody upkeeping some obscure archives in giant servers. 3/4 of the websites I used as a kid and where I posted all sort of cringe stuff just flat out don't exist anymore. As doesn't ZXApocrypha's extended remix of dusk falls from fire emblem fates. Just fucking wiped off the earth

Employers search up people's social media to see what they're like before hiring.

yeah this, nothing ever happens now unless you're getting into a weird group without ditching all previous details
just turn bald or change your name
simple

which is why you ideally dont use social media

if this actually did anything no one would have a job

I wanted the hard drive singularity to happen in my life time instead of AI. I mean like hard drives the size of USB sticks that are like 1 petabyte in storage and have instant transfer speed.
I would rather be able to download everything digital and keep it on me forever than whatever AI is capable of.
Right now everything is limited by time, space, money, etc, etc.
Not only that but AI will be back doored out the fucking asshole, you already know.

A drive is a drive, it's a physical thing that functions without a subscription or wifi or hidden code.
