I'm getting a bit overwhelmed by work and my studies. Is there some notetaking system that actually works to help you learn and remember stuff? Now, I am just using handwritten notes + overleaf.

Obsidian sucks. You think you're productive but at the end of the day you're just spending your day nooting. Handwritten notes are the best.

Replace Overleaf with a local LaTeX compiler. You don't want to get locked out of your work if their server dies. I used to use MikTeX with TeXMaker but recently switched to VSCode to have my code and my LaTeX editor in the same place.
