Only recognize Pulisic and Mckennie. Think >we will field some randoms too with half the team out or returning from injury. Just collecting a cheque for our poorfag FA and try out some fringe players. Should still win this friendly but who knows; team has been shit since 2018.

Did the hype ever build up before you start getting inundated with commercials?
Had no hype last time round, partly because team was shit and because twas Qatar in winter. Plenty of hype in 2018 but were playing attractive football.
Spain - Argentina finalissima could have helped. Odd that no CUM host city jumped at the chance when Qatar got cancelled.

Oh, because king jew requested it. That makes sense.

>what am i missing here. why is this necessary? the carson facilities are only 25 years old
The Carson facility wasn't the national training facility, just an MLS facility they trained at several times. US Soccer's corporate headquarters have been in Chicago. Now they're centralizing everything in Atlanta.

>KDB, Lukaku, CDK, etc. recently returned from injury and need to take it easy
>Fofana, Lavia, Moreira, etc. really promising talents yet injured/returning

Injury woes in defense but De Winter is starting to perform for Milan and likely part of a makeshift defense this window. A few odd inclusions but should be alright.

He has been injured for quite some time this cycle and the Euro qualis too come to think about it. Usually does well and pretty decisive often enough. Better, by a mile, than Hazard in his last years as an international. Despite injury KDB was top scorer in qualis (Lukaku injured for basically all of it and Openda not doing so well). Doku best this cycle, does deliver assists and goals for country. Fofana looked really good too but got injured.

I rate Onana at Villa, top player innit. The biggest threat you have up top is Doku, hopefully Robinson is available to play and start because I trust him to defend there instead of that Columbus Crew lb.

All of our team is on finasteride to keep from going bald. They are effectively women.
>>

I seriously don't understand the fear of going bald. I gained so much confidence when I finally started just shaving my head as opposed to spending half an hour trying to make my hair look presentable before leaving the house.

It's reality. Our talented kids with cajones don't even get a chance to play and get selected unless their parents are shelling out $40k a year for club travel soccer.
In Hockey everyone who plays is rich because how expensive it is to play by default. Also if you aren't tough, you will not be playing hockey for long in the first place.

It was easily our A team, only Dest and Adam's weren't there due to injury, and Anthony Robinson but he always has mistakes in him at international level.
What surprises me is Angamangbang. I thought he was hopeless and garbage in MLS but the championship changed him. He looks like our only striker that's an actual threat. Pepi and Balogun are both massive letdowns.

>MLS lifers
when your team is bad, it almost always comes down to youth coaching. i see people blaming the players called up from the mls a lot. i feel bad for these guys, its like blaming a d2 ncaa team for losing to alabama. theyve never got to have proper coaching, but they have to play because everyone else is also shit. even if they try their best they just suck. sure some of your players that got sent to europe like reyna didnt work out, but its a low chance of ever making it at a top level, so if you have 50 youth players in europe the odds are none of them become good.
if you look at say a top european/south american club, they sign any kid who can kick a ball from the age of 5, and train them until theyre 16-20 aka ready to play. they have hundreds of kids on their books at any one time and a team for every age group from 5-20 being trained by the best coaches in the world. 99 percent of these will never make it and will be lost money sure, but if one does make it they will be worth millions either by using them, or selling them to another team which immediately offsets the cost.
i looked into mls and it seems like they dont actually start signing and coaching players until theyre 14-15. most prospects have already finished their basic technical/mental development by then (as far as soccer goes) theyre either already good or already shit. sure some will get bigger etc but its way too late to start on a player, and before then hes just got shit local coaching or none at all. 15 is a baby in say NFL terms where they arent even in the NFL until theyre 25 sometimes but some kids can play in the prem by 15 like dowman. you cant start top level coaching by 14, these guys have had shit coaching from the age of 5-15 so it makes sense by 20 these players are already failed prospects by the time they start playing in the MLS.
>>
>>154037769
many clubs use their academy as a main income source, it makes them tons of money just from selling the 1 percent of the 1000 lottery ticket kids they sign from 5+ and develop. and this system is where all the good national team players come from. why doesnt the mls teams just go to south america/europe, and copy this. either steal the coaches or send yours to look and see how to do it. All i can think of is that there is some way the way MLS works with the salary cap and designated player systems that makes this not worth doing for them due to not being worth it to sell players off, or cant pay them due to the salary cap.
or theyre just retarded and ran by billionaires who dont even care enough to try and win and just want to sit there waiting for the local government to give them a new stadium worth 1bn and then sell the club on for twice what it was worth when they bought it. who knows
>>
>>
>>154037769
Our training is pay to play and is centered around cone drills. In Europe and South America, academies cost very little to nothing. In USA, it's $40k a year just to play on the travel circuit and hope USSOCCER notices you. No matter how great you are, US soccer ignores you if you aren't paying to play in their system. The exception to this rule is foreigners we naturalize and half-Americans raised on US military bases in Europe.
>>
>>154037796
MLS is franchises, there is no relegation. They have no motivation to max out talent in academies because they make money either way. It's cheaper for owners to ignore youth investment and fill their teams with mediocre central Americans and Europeans who were trained properly in their countries.
MLS and US Soccer will hold our development back dramatically until something changes.
>>
>>154037901
ah. as long as that system is in place you will never be a top team. why would these teams even give a fuck about developing you, theyve already got your 40k whether youre good or shit. and it actually benefits them to keep coaching shit players and wasting their time so they still go there and pay the 40k
but the only way this would change is if your government funded us soccer to the point where its on the level of eu/sa (will never happen) or MLS teams realise this system will never get them players worth anything either ability wise or money wise, and start coaching from the ages of 5+ (they may do this but i doubt it. and if they dont i dont see anything ever changing)
>>
>>154037769
>i looked into mls and it seems like they dont actually start signing and coaching players until theyre 14-15. most prospects have already finished their basic technical/mental development by then (as far as soccer goes) theyre either already good or already shit. sure some will get bigger etc but its way too late to start on a player, and before then hes just got shit local coaching or none at all.
Also, our coaches prioritize physical athletic specimens who can run fast. They don't know how to teach technique or tactics so they ignore and focus on filling their teams with athletes and play hoofball. That's why mediocre European academy dropouts get scholarships to NCAA soccer then look like Lionel Messi next to the American players. Countries like Norway and Iceland have superior youth coaching and development at every level compared to us. If they can do it, there's no reason we can't- oh yeah there is, the US soccer pay to play system. It makes so much money and has a virtual monopoly on US youth talent development and all they do is endless cone drills. We need some altruistic billionaire to develop an alternative US development system with good coaches to destroy the US soccer monopoly
>>
>>154037956
its only cheaper if you dont see it as an investment that you can sell. say barcelona had sold messi, that would have paid for la masia for like 100 years. brazillian clubs are great at selling their youth prospects for like 30m a pop at 18 and it pays for like a decade plus of their academy systems. even todd boehly is running chelsea by buying tons of 18 year old prospects for 30m and trying to sell them at 21 for 50m, so at least hes realised that players are assets you can make money on, hes retarded but hes grasped something that mls clubs havnt yet.
>>
>>154037990
Exactly. And even then US soccer only looks at the nepobabies like Bernhalter and Gio Reyna. Diego Luna is the only USMNT player not nepo'd in by US soccer and sadly he's not even an England 3rd division level talent if im being honest. That's why our team is full of softboy rich WASP kids instead of technico street baller Mexican Americans who understand basic tactics.
>>
>>154038081
I could be wrong but I think there's some collective bargaining agreement in MLS where a team has to share profit of every player they sell with the other MLS teams. The system is designed to fail and hold everyone back.

I thought you werent that bad in the first half, in fact you looked like a strong team and were giving us problems. I know Anthony Robinson from Fulham and he looked good. Your RB was giving Doku problems and your midfield was solid especially number 5. But then Pochettino inexplicably subbed in terrible players and your gameplan went to shit which allowed us to easily take over the second half. I know you have problems with MLS controlling your team but dont you have better options? Where was Tyler Adam or that DM from Milan?
>>
>>
>>154066786
Expecting to face the US again in the Ro16. Belgium's basecamp is in Seattle and it has been impressed upon the players that winning this fairly soft group means both Ro32 and Ro16 games are also in Seattle. Possibly meet Broos' S.Africa or another 3rd placed team in the Ro32. Then the winner of USA's group. Might be the Turks instead if they win tonight. And back to LA if Belgium manages to reach the quarters again.
>>
>>154067795
Well if Musah is your next best option after injuries then Pochettino needs to call him up because whatever midfielders you used against us in that 2nd half were exposed.
>>154067949
I think Turkey might be our opponent based on the strength of teams in the USA group. I am confident we can beat both turks and americans as either option in ro16 but I dont want to test our luck with Fifa host refball so I hope we get the turks instead.

That other American is totally correct. It's more noticeable in the Olympics and it makes the whole competition a farce.
Just as an example
>Chinks have evolved over tens of thousands of years to be perfectly proportioned for gymnastics
>This is a Chink trait
>Sum Ting Wong's parents moved to the US before he was born and he represents the US at the Olympics

but whats an american, its a nation of 99 percent immigrants within a couple hundred years, when the landmass has existed for millions. if youre born there thats being from america. the white americans only showed up a couple hundred years ago, the black ones later than that and the hispanics even later. how long does it take to become one? in your rules only native americans should count. or celts for us and everyone with saxon/french/roman/danish/viking blood shouldnt compete, and only aborigines for aussies.
>>
>>154132879
also the goat american gymnast is black. you cant say they only won because they were asian. i doubt asian countries even have the most medals in gymnastics, and they are good because they forcefully shrink their feet by constricting them. not really genetics. just field a team of midgets and it might win idk

>>154132879
Could go with a less strict romantic view. That is, your home country is where a couple of generations of ancestors have been buried. In Europe, it's often muslims that will "repatriate" recently deceased family members to for example Morocco, if they can afford it (sizeable market for insurers). Even for 2nd, 3rd... gen that's still their home. Eventhough they only visit on holidays. If Americans don't keep going on vacation to their 23&me countries and can visit the graves of their forefathers in the US then...

Pulishit's form is dropping to nothing right when we need him the most going in to the World cup- 1 assist and no goals in 14 games for AC Milan since 2026 began. We have to face reality lads- with Poch at the helm and Pulishit a locked-in starter, we're going to get grouped, bigly.

Dempsey and Donovan truly were our GOATs, aside from Keller and Friedel. We will never be as good as we were with those guys ever again.
