It's bad enough that they say 1st, 2nd, 3rd and waste the space on unnecessary letters

>Grid girls were removed from racing events largely because of a desire to appeal to Arabs that hate women.
Its has nothing to do with the arabs, The fia are run by globalist marxists whose goal is to destroy the patriarchy, they want to crash society by upending it and making people believe women are the superior sex when the fact is and always will be that women are weak idiots controlled by their emotions.
Theres a reason why nearly all mens world sports have women forced in now as refs, commentators and pundits, Its not by accident, its by design, Its all being pushed by the same vile satanic woke cult who want to destroy everything so they can normalise their unhinged demonic way of life that they have been living in secret for hundreds or even thousands of years.

Based. I think it was Rocket Powered Mohawk (>INB4) that said something about how the grid girls shouldn't be allowed to make choices about their bodies and that those decisions are to be made by less attractive women. kek
Oh, and good luck with your protests over there. The world needs you guys to remind us that it can be done and how to do it.

never5get that dorna (specifically jerez) wanted to get rid of the umbrella girls, but since it's the teams that hires them directly they told dorna to fuck off, since then we still lost the row girls, and a lot teams have gotten rid of them there are a few are still fighting the good fight

https://www.indycar.com/news/2026/04/04-13-fast6-format
INDYCAR has announced an expansion of Firestone Fast Six single-car qualifying, including an updated format, for the remaining four street circuit events of the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season beginning with the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach on Friday-Sunday, April 17-19 on the Streets of Long Beach.
>Choice of qualifying order based on Segment 2 results.
The fastest qualifier from Segment 2 will be the first to choose which position they would like to make their Fast Six qualifying run with subsequent choices made for the remaining positions based on the order of Segment 2 results.
>Lining up at pit out following tire declaration.
Once the qualifying order is determined, teams will make their tire selection – primary or alternate tires – prior to lining up in single-file and in order of their qualifying run, at pit out to await their qualifying attempt.
why make it easy when you can make it complicated

From sportscar365:
>In a change for this year, all WEC teams are required to install and manage a camera in each pit box for monitoring purposes. Per a bulletin, the camera must be oriented towards the car, as it is in the pit stall at an angle of 25 degrees from a horizontal plane. The feeds must be made available to the stewards via Alkamel Systems.
>Teams are also now required to broadcast a live video feed of its garage on a display attached to their paddock dividers between each team truck.
We gonna have garage livestreaming now, lads

It's a rare breed of Corvette owner that actually road-races their car. Most are retirees that buy one right after carpetbagging to Florida.
The other, smaller percentage are ~30-50 and drag race. They spend a lot of money on turbos, fuel systems, cams, gearboxes, etc., to shave off tenths in the quarter. They either can't (no track nearby) or don't want to try road racing. It's riskier, since going wheel-to-wheel always runs the risk of crashing while as long as they aren't retarded on the strip, the car will make it home in one piece.

>>154238436
>always supporting their GT programs
That's really the big thing. Porsche built relationships that span decades with team owners. Seemingly no matter how many regulation changes a series would go through, Porsche would have machinery to race and support teams that bought it.

If it wasn't for the hybrid system, that wouldn't be so bad. I know manufacturers basically demand the inclusion of a hybrid system, but there really isn't any need for it in motorsports.

Went to see 2DIE4 in IMAX earlier today. I was 1 of around 15 people in the theater. The film is an hour long and features Nasr at the 2025 24 hours of Le Mans.
I enjoyed it, but I'm a Nasr and Porsche fan. I think anyone who is fan of racing would enjoy the film. It's beautiful and was awesome to see on an IMAX screen. It follows Nasr's perspective during the race but it's more than a documentary. It's very stylized and narrative driven at times. I remembered how the race started for them but forgot how it ended. Despite that the film wrapped up nicely. It would have been great if these guys were filming for Daytona this year and made another. The credits were cool because they showed the film crew working during the race.
Some negatives would have to be the fake radio messages used to tell the story at times. It did not bother me but I imagine some will hate these moments. Also I feel like it let Nasr off a bit easy at the end. I would have liked to see more of the aftermath.
Worth the money to see and if anyone has any other films like this to recommend, please do, because I want more.

many such cases, nobody wants to put in the effort/expense to develop/homologate a proper race car, they would rather play the political game to get their competition banned if they can't beat them on the circuit
now we have BoP as a natural evolution of that mentality and everyone hates it and we fight over that and every victory is an asterisk*
