Problem is the rot is set. Every year that goes on it gets harder and harder to change.
Cripps is a loser.
Doc was a loser.
Simmo, Murph, Kreuze, Gibbs, all losers.
Walsh becoming a loser if he’s not already there.
Where will Jagga end up under this guidance?
All champion players of our club, all stars of the game. All don’t know how to win or lead and it is through no fault of their own. The environment is to blame.

I think you could put a dart on his chest and even if you could trust him to mark it you couldn't rely on the fiend to actually use it correctly after. Better off just going around him. I'd honestly be pissed if I were a teammate. He shouldn't have been playing and the game is a straight kick away from drawing. Even if Hewett is slow does anyone think he would've offered less than Hollands did tonight? Selfish cunt.

"Former Collingwood and North Melbourne forward Moana Hope has gone public after receiving an “incredibly hurtful” homophobic message from a recently retired AFLW player.
The 38-year-old, who was one of the competition’s inaugural marquee players at its inception, says she “always” receives “outrageous” direct messages of hate towards her.
“But yesterday I received a DM from somebody I did not expect,” she told her Instagram followers on Monday."
"Hope initially thought the message came from a current AFLW player at a Victorian club but later realised she had “very recently” retired.
“First of all, she didn’t mean to send it to me; she took my story that’s currently up and she was clearly trying to send it to somebody else, who’s probably also homophobic. And what she said was incredibly hurtful,” she said.
“And when I say hurtful, like, I have thick skin. I am well good within myself and where I stand, and I have no insecurities based on some strange person sending me a DM.
“However, I did not expect it. I mean, you sent it to me! That was stupid.
“And I responded to it; I was like, ‘Umm?’ And before I said umm, I screenshotted it. And the crazy thing is, she quickly then unsent it, but I had already screenshotted it.
“I ended up responding and being like, ‘First of all, you don’t follow me’ — she doesn’t follow me, so she’s gone onto my profile, gone into my stories, taken a photo, was forwarding it to somebody to have her homophobic, incredibly rude comment about me, and instead has sent it back to me by accident, and then she quickly tries to unsend it.
“And so I responded to her and I said, ‘Whatever you’re dealing with and whatever hurt has caused you to be so mean and a bully, is not welcome here. You don’t even follow me. And I hope you find your peace’. And then I blocked her."

"The AFL confirmed it’d been in touch with the Blues, who are yet to release an official statement or hold a press conference specifically on the matter.
“We are having on-going discussions with Carlton and also ensuring Elijah has the relevant support,” AFL spokesperson Jay Allen said in a statement.
The AFL Players’ Association is absolutely concerned with what played out on Thursday night and how it got to that point.
They’ve spoken with the AFL, Carlton and Hollands’ management.
The welfare of Hollands, who’s been open about his mental health issues in the past and battled to win back a list spot at Carlton last off-season, is seen as the main priority for all parties involved."

Please guys, sit back, wait and listen to the Medical Experts, there is probably a lot more happening that most don't know about.
And most importantly let's respect Elijah and his family and friends who are probably very concerned about Elijahs situation, whatever that may be.
Lastly, I am not a Carlton fan, but I think we must appreciate the Club is going thru challenging times at the moment... and the Club doesn't need more heat from keyboard warriors.

I unironically believe my mental health symptoms are due to the fact that all my irish, scottish and anglo ancestors were likely drinking all the time
my genes therefore aren't set up to be stone cold sober every day. I only feel normal after 3-4 beers.
I also get barely any hangovers after heavy drinking and can appear stone cold sober after 10 drinks indicating that my body processes alcohol extremely effectively. But if I live like my ancestors today I'm called an alcoholic
>>
>>154249892
imo masturbating to porn is perfectly fine provided you don't require porn to get aroused. If you do something is wrong. Too many people use it as a crutch and they don't use it for sexual gratification, they use it to fill the time since they're constantly bored.

I can actually buy the mental health story if he genuinely has serious mental illness.
Most normies are so inoculated from mental illness their only reference point for crazy behaviour is that it's "drugs"
You know most of the raving homeless people you see on the street etc are more often than not stone cold sober and just experiencing severe schizophrenia etc.
There's a total misnomer that drugs come first in those situations. It can be the case, but usually the mental illness came first.
I think actually the "mental health awareness" stuff has damaged people with serious mental health conditions, because it assumes that all mental illness is essentially quite a mild condition, like feeling slightly down or anxious etc. That people with serious afflictions are even more so marginalised.
100% you can behave like Elijah last night purely from mental illness. It's obviously just rare in such contexts.

I used to get high before playing cricket in the nets. Really paired well with cricket. Wouldn't recommend with footy I think alcohol is probably a better pairing but never tried it. I've played soccer socially high and didn't have great results in my performance/enjoyment but a few beers before the match was a good balance.

It's a classic Friday night footy clash in Australia tonight (Friday 17 April 2026).The AFL has two games on at the same time:Geelong Cats vs Western Bulldogs at GMHBA Stadium, kicking off around 7:20pm AEST.
Sydney Swans vs GWS Giants at the SCG, kicking off around 7:50pm AEST.
They overlap because the AFL often schedules a double-header on Friday nights during the regular season. This is pretty standard — it spreads out the broadcast slots, fills the evening, and gives fans (especially in different states) options without overloading Saturday. The NRL also has a game tonight (Raiders vs Storm, I believe, based on the draw), which is another common Friday night slot for them. Why the overlap?TV and broadcast rights: Both codes (and their broadcasters like Channel 7/Fox for AFL, Nine/Fox for NRL) love Friday nights for big audiences. They don't always perfectly avoid each other because the seasons run in parallel (March–September-ish), and prime-time slots are limited.
It's not a conspiracy — just how the fixtures shake out to maximise games, attendance, and TV ratings. Sometimes one code shifts slightly to dodge the other, but not always.
If you're trying to watch both, you'll probably need to flick between channels or use a streaming app with multi-view. Sucks if you hate missing any action, but that's footy season for ya.Which teams are you barracking for tonight?

"Elijah Hollands was reportedly suffering from a “mental health episode” and “not under the influence of drugs” during his worrying performance against Collingwood.
The Carlton midfielder, 23, did not record a disposal despite playing 60 per cent of the match as disturbing footage showed him behaving in an unusual manner at the MCG.
While the AFL community has widely wrapped its arm around the former Gold Coast player as its chief concern, serious questions are now being asked about why the club allowed him to play.
Michael Voss made the only public statement about Hollands’ condition after the game when the Blues coach said Hollands was “shattered” and felt he “let people down” following the five-point loss."
Considering how regularly players get drug tested, this makes sense

I get repulsed by all people seem to care about is the optics of things. People care more about "how things appear" or "how does this look" more than the actual reality of the situation or what is the best thing to do.
It's quite a repugnant way to live and I'm not sure if people have always been this way, but I think modernity has made it much much worse. Even when I had issues with people in my family, all they cared about is how things seemed, to some imaginary audience.

Lads, are you supposed to "have a conversation" with the girl you're dating to confirm exclusivity after you've been seeing her a while? And until you have that conversation, you are supposed to assume she is definitely seeing other men as well??

Depends if you met on a dating app or not. You should clarify though yes but usually the girl asks "what are we?" or something like that. If she got her stuff at your place then it's basically confirmed.

What do you think he was on? For me looked kinda like ecstasy but that has a peak and down so you'd have to time it and a footy game is way too long for that if you add the pre-match stuff in it. Cocaine only lasts for like 30 mins each bump so no way it could be that. Some of you young whipper snappers know what drug lasts a full afl match? I've never had stimulants so I dunno anything about them do you reckon it was meth?

Not on a dating app, but I did message her on IG to organise the first date. Went on two dates end of January/start of February. Then she messaged saying she "can't give me the best version of herself" because she's really focused on a comp she's prepping for. So I didn't talk to her since then, until I saw her post a story a couple of weeks ago, she was upset at having to pull out of the comp for "health reasons" and I used that opportunity to message her, ask if she's okay, started chatting again, and now I've been on 3 more dates with her, with two of them ending up having sex. I really feel like someone like her gets lots of male attention, so have to assume she's seeing more than just me. But I don't want to bring it up. I might give her "the ick" by being insecure.

Increasing the dosage does nothing?

That's because you have adhd and need them to slow down your thinking so your thoughts aren't going crazy. Where as people that have normal brain chemistry react to them differently it makes them more amped and focused mentally but look a bit sloppy in your movements. It's good for physicality.

whoever asks first loses. just date her with zero expectations and focus on how you feel about and around her and convey that when she inevitably asks "where do you see this going?" or "am I girlfriend material?"

I'm inattentive, not hyperactive. it feels like chronic laziness that I can't do anything about

Yeah you have adhd so trying to do something is hard because you have so many thoughts that you are frozen by the choice. So it looks like laziness or you're late for work/school all the time. The dexies slow down the thoughts allowing you to select the right ones so you can get ready on time for school/work. Allows the executive function of your brain to work so you can start tasks.

Weak excuses like that mean she doesn't think highly of you and girls like that can be prone to impulsive behaviour. Seems like you caught her again at a down point, but what will she do when she's feeling better again? Obviously I don't have the full story but love/ lust can blind us a bit, just try not to catch feelings unless you're sure about her.
