Define great. I can only speak on the US stadiums, but none of them are going to wow you with their aesthetics from the outside. But inside will be very nice and comparable to club giants in the EU.
>>
>fetlife stadium
do americans really?
>>
>>154242852
Philly, Atlanta, Kansas City would be the easiest to fly into and go to. """Boston"""" will easily be the worst experience possible outside of going to Mexico and getting caught in a narco civil war. 2nd worst will be """Miami""". Can't speak for the others but it will overall be a terrible time for most people coming in.

Miamifag here to tell you about the Hard Rock:

>located next to the ghetto. Don't wander too far.
>public transit? lol, lmao even
>designed for the Fins to be in the shade and the rival to get blasted by the sun. Same for the stands.
>Copa America final gave us a preview of what the Colombia-Portugal match will be like.

"The 2024 Copa América final between Argentina and Colombia at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens (July 14, 2024) saw severe security breaches, causing a 90-minute delay, as thousands of ticketless fans rushed gates, climbed walls, and entered through ventilation systems. Argentina won 1-0, but the chaos led to arrests and ticketed fans being kept out."

Have fun anons!

Just on the looks I would say Seattle and Toronto are the worse but based on the weather Miami in August is a suicide mission.
LA, Dallas and Monterrey would be the only ones notable on my list
>>
>levi's
>san francisco

anyway its a shithole, the stick was 10x better. Taking Caltrain and then getting smushed like sardines on the tiny shuttle to the stadium sucked
>>
>>154243464
In Miami you at least get a coin flip chance of being in the shady side.
Arrowhead will be completely uncovered death from above
>>
>>154243404
Surprising amounts of sovl for the US
>>
>>154243502
Its not a coin flip, the stadium was literally designed for the away side to be in the sun at 1pm. I was at the Buffalo at Miami game a few years back where Buffalo's players were collapsing on the field after the game and sipping on my $20 Heineken that was boiling in its aluminum can.

Philly is the best for an out of towner
>actually in the city not a suburb
>connected to downtown by public transportation, subway or bus, still have to walk a HUGE parking lot
>in the ghetto but not the worst ghetto and separated from the ghetto by a HUGE parking lot
>Philly is not new york but still has good touristy things to do and food markets when not at the game
>brazil ecador and African matches so will have good atmosphere
>DO NOT GO TO NORTH OR WEST PHILLY
>>
All of the American ones are shit because the stadiums were designed with footbaw not fùtbol in mind
>>
>>154244669
Lumen seems nice. It also should be easy to reach and I guess Seattle's likely to have ideal weather conditions for football.
>>
>>154244427
If it’s the Butt Safety game you were referring to, I too was there and marveled at seeing the Bills wilting live in front of my eyes.

>>154242852
bc place is a fucking shithole. still has circular urinals in it too. stadium is in a really rough neighborhood. common to see people injecting drugs right outside the gates in broad daylight before a whitecaps or bc lions game. really makes you wonder how much somebody got paid to let that dump host a world cup game.

I want to see someone accidentally wander to the baseball stadium in one of the cities where they're right next to each other
>>
>>154245771
they also have a crypto.com stadium
>>
>>154245771
Not only that, but once the naming rights expire (usually 20-25 years), someone else can buy them and the name will change

Houston's baseball stadium was originally Enron Field until Enron went tits up in the biggest accounting scandal in US history; then it became Astros Field until Minute Maid purchased the naming rights. Now it's Daikin Park, a company I'd never heard of until I looked it up to make this post.

It's lame as shit and gradually it's seeping into collegiate facilities too

Yep. Same game where Tua got a cuntcussion right before half, was sprinted into the locker room and then cleared to play which then caused him to become a vegetable the following week.

Stay in Downtown Providence if you're heading to Boston, Train still goes to the stadium, it's also a nice calm small city that has all the New England without all the things people bitch at Boston about besides the Trans acceptance and liberalism.

Haven't a real clue. I'd reckon if you want a "cultural experience" you stick to New York, Philadelphia, or Miami, and I'd bet Miami is the best of the three. Boston or Toronto could be neat, but they're kind of out there. The west coast cities - Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles should be good if you are wealthy enough to have high quality accommodations, and I suspect Seattle and Vancouver would provide the best cultural experience. Kansas City, Dallas, Houston and Atlanta would be the unique experience, offering likely the lowest lows but also the rarer and highest highs.

I don't know anything about Mexico.
>>
>>154242852
they're all pretty bad
BMO was one of the few that was built for soccer and it sucks, and had to be rebuilt for the WC
>>
>>154242852
Gr8: Seattle, LA, San Francisco, Mexico city (Aztec iconic af), Miami...

Meh: Toronto, Vancouver, NYC

Shit: The rest pretty much.

Best one? I don't know. Worst one? Definitively the BMO Field in Toronto, no contest. Just look at this abomination.

Officially, this happens in football too, but everyone sticks to the real name.

LA, Dallas, Houston and Atlanta have the best stadiums in the US. Phoenix and Vegas are up there, but they aren't hosts
>>
>>154250044
Pretty much all pro stadiums are so new they've had corporate names from the beginning. College is a different story because the old stadiums typically got enlarged but seldom totally replaced, and were usually named after someone important at the university. That makes it a hard sell to fans who can roll their eyes at the stupid names for pro team facilities, but don't want to see even more corporate encroachment in college sports.

>>154250106
Vegas really missed out there

It's also easy to get to from the airport. All trains at the airport go downtown, and from Five Points you can either transfer to the east line or walk to the stadium (you will have to deal with panhandlers). Most people in Atlanta hate their transit system but the connection between downtown and the airport is something that they do well.
>>
>>154250705
West, not east, but no one is going to take directions to the stadium from an anon, are they?

When he did care more about sports, NFL rebuffed him from buying a team for being an obvious conman and he never forgave them. That's why he's siccing his personal law firm, the Department of Justice, on them right now for a shakedown.

He could have gone for a team of the MLB or even the MLS when it was in its infancy.

Probably would have been turned down for the same reason. They could all see how his "business acumen" went on to collapse an entire league because the only thing he knows how to do is sue.
>>
The worse one is definitely ours. BMO field in Toronto was designwd to cater to MLS demand which means being a 4th rate team in the city meaning it could only hold 30k people. There solution to make it bigger was to add super ugly temporary bleachers

how the fuck do you even see whats happening on the pitch if you're seated upper right side

In Mexico it's the same shit. All of the new stadiums have sponsored names and even the old ones are starting to change their names for some quick extra cash. Like how the iconic Estadio Azteca is now Estadio Banorte.

Nothing, we just don't have soccer infrastructure here because it's not a sport people care about.

Vancouver Whitecaps share a stadium with the CFL team so it's actually decent. The big stadium in Toronto is the Rogers center but the blue Jays play there all summer. The argos for moved to BMO field. So all we have is where Toronto FC plays which was purposely made small since it's meant for an MLS team which means competing for 4th/5th most popular sport's team in the city so it's designed small

Trump never cared about soccer until he had a zoomer son who was obsessed with soccer, now he loves it
