now his career is over, what are your opinions on the 'neymar era' of football? how does it compare the the messi/ronaldo era before it?

Its all gone downhill after Dinho desu. But Brazil is particularly sad in a way. I had this conversation with two bros yesterday whilst watching real bayern and it just fucking sucks that spastics like Vini represent this wonderful football country nowadays. Im still used to Roberto Carlos and Kaka and Ze Roberto. Then Neymar happened and I couldnt help thinking that that aint it. Very sad decline. Im sure theyll bounce back though. Feels a lot like Ferrari in F1. Everyone is secretly rooting for them a little bit, even if they dont know it. When brazil is comfy again football as a whole will heal. Until then it will stay fake and gay and lame, like Neymar

The fire crackles as the children gasp in awe. Snow begins to fall outside the window your tale comes to an end, but the youngsters are still thirsty for more. 'Tell us about the two he scored against Bolivia again Grandpapa' one child begs. 'No, no! The mythic brace vs Kazakhstan!' implores another. The oldest boy pipes up. 'Be quiet you two, Grandad tells those ones all the time. Go on, tell us the one you promised us last time - the penalty vs Venezuela...Grandad..G-Grandad?'

The rocking chair creaks to a halt. A serene expression is on your face and all of Neymar's goals flash before your eyes in your final moments as the children embrace you. His one World Cup knockout goal, The legendary double in Managua. That tap in against Guatemala. they know whats happening and are scared, but calm.

The last thing you hear as you slide into the black warmth of death is the youngest boy - old beyond his years, a football fanatic who spends every free moment outside kicking his battered leather ball against the wall 'Don't be sad, he lived a hell of a life...in the age of Ney.'

somehow every single football player in here worships him and wishes to be his friend. nerman is so big that even these days most people still think he should be called to NT. His team just drew against the substitutes from 8th place in the Paraguayan league.

That's not true. For 6 months in 17/18 at psg it was happening. 28G 17A in 30 matches. Then he got booed at a home match where he had 4 goals and 2 assists, then his foot was broken. Never played more than 30 matches again. This nigga had BOTH FEET and He threw it all away. I've accepted it. not mbappes fault, not messis fault, not his dads fault. All on him. Still my favorite player ever.

I’m sorry, but the who era?

My introduction to him was his first world cup where he just got memed on for constantly rolling around like a bitch. That was when I first said out loud, "I don't think this semen slurping sport or these semen slurping fags that play it are for me."

yeah, zlatan played the same amount of games as neymar for psg, he was 30+ boomer and scored 30 more goals in the same games.

People hated him for acting like a diving bitch every game, but now the younger generation loves him because he's one of the last players with flair in the tactical autism era.
He did prove me wrong because I thought Neymar would be Robinho 2.0, yet Neymar had a much better career and was a better player.

to be fair brazillian forwards are usually washed up by 27 so its not too bad

The 2014 World Cup broke him, that was supposed to be his thing, instead he got injured, the team got heemed and memed the next game and ever since then, Neymar, Brazil and the world feel like they've been just not the same.
