quick question about Ninja Warrior We brits got ourselves a dubbed version of the show (No subtitles), and I want to watch it again, problem is, it's basically gone from the internet, it'd be nice if someone manages to find a few more episodes if not the entire thing (p.s i know youtube has a few episodes)
>>1389740 They might make a new-year special and release it on their now streaming service, but it won't be a 5 hour batsu game, they filmed those at least 2 months in advance every year since it requires a lot of editing.
>>1390124 my bad am mega retard that was the new ninja warrior uk not whatever dub you're talking about. Link me what it should look like and I might be able to find more but seems like I don't have the right title.
>>1390118 It's such a load of shit that the year end batsu had to go out like it did. It would have been nice if they did a tribute to all the guests and traps they did instead of how shitty the Vegas one was. It wouldn't suck so much if they at least did that.
I've heard that yoshimoto was allocating money to downtown. I wonder if they'll ever allowed matsuchan to ever come back. The lame as fuck chargers against him too. Especially compared to that SMAP guy who ripped the nipple off that woman.
Any chance y'all niggas know where I can get peers for these torrents? Trying to download Sekai Ururun Taizaiki. 08bc82f325170a61f79956c454a7c2ad6a2bdcd4 c001b2198d61b022c37d9fbe0f908e4e71e7d55b
>>1392528 It makes me so sad, the subbing community was vibrant and steadfast, yeah it took time of course, and I understand they want to be paid for that time, but now everything is locked down so tight it's literal years for translations. Gaki 2025 still only have 3 subtitled episodes.
>>1392174 Zwanster was on holiday and he now alternates between WDT and Gaki so a new one should be coming soonish? >>1392579 Interest in Japanese television has been on the decline for ages now except for anime. Even idol subbing on for both male and female groups are super slow now when not even 5 years ago that was a day 1 sub. Just the way things are now.
>>1388862 Is there a torrent for the full Science Lab Batsu game? The download link on gakiarchive is fucked where it only downloads the first GB. Thanks for any help
>>1393642 /jp/ has their idol threads that have a masterliist with most content. Still it would be a good idea to catalog and mirror it here. I said i would help with the library years ago and never got to it so i could make a start here if there is enough interest.
>>1393873 Zip folders? The raws change around a bit too much, and it would be an absolutely massive torrent, I'm underwater enough just trying to spend the minimal time needed to keep things updated. If it's something you're interested in orchestrating, and you can install synchthing, let me know and I'm happy to let you clone it over.
As somebody who randomely came across this show and community from the 2013 batsu thread and then went on to learn japanese, this thread is sad to see with how dead it is :(
I've been showing my english only friend various episodes, and goddamn for so many episodes the translator must have been huffing glue. Like many are a decent 8-9/10 translation, except there are a handful of baby-tier things that they just didn't understand for some reason?? Like the tofu panda subs not understanding aka=akan, and translating that as the cast spamming "red"... Like how did he translate the rest of the episode but not pick up on the casts kansai-ben, and thought they were just saying 'red' over and over again..? That sort of thing is in nearly every gaki sub that I've seen. And I know there are translators that start from chinese which has resulted in a flood of mediocre translations lately, but okay whatever I guess we need anything we can get.
But yeah It's very confusing when a translation is otherwise good, but they misunderstand the most basic stuff, which I've seen way too often with these gaki subs... They're obviously good enough for the english community to enjoy but... The subbers often just make up random shit if they have no idea what's being said lol
>>1396778 They have always been a little hit or miss but the times of godzillaradio and old gakifiles are long behind us. What was the last time shibatabread posted something. Like 2015?
>>1398823 He missed the latest oogiri live stream, but other than that I haven't heard he's sick. The next live stream will be in a few weeks, we'll see how sick he is. The big issue of Downtown+ is they still haven't appeared together with Hamada yet. Worst case scenario is this will continue for a few more months.
>>1398922 no idea when they announced the streaming thing they said something that Yoshimoto collected funds even from overseas maybe they'll upload videos behind paywall on their youtube channel as well and they see the restriction as some extra protection
>>1399216 >>1399200 HAHAHA the dubs are horrible lol matsumotos vocie is hilarious. Tbh the AI dub might have been translating badly but the outcome was funny and the voice itself is better then the actual real voice overs
>>1399751 >which seems like a good deal I was subscribed for a while after the service started. Wasn't really worth it at the time. >are you even allowed to subscribe if you're not in Japan? Sure, but some of the archive content was geo-blocked for me.
