In December of 2024 sakamotocommons held an exhibition in Ginza Sony Park. Patrons who donated 10k yen (10 dollars) would be able to download a recording made by Ryuichi Sakamoto on a trip to Greenland. Here is the official site:

This selection features sounds from Greenland, chosen from the field recordings that Ryuichi Sakamoto collected around the world and which are being exhibited at “sakamotocommon GINZA.” The audio data will be provided in download format.
<About the Audio>
Ryuichi Sakamoto Field Recordings @ Greenland - Cape Farewell
These recordings were made during a 10-day trip to Greenland from September 25, 2008, when Sakamoto was invited to participate in the “Cape Farewell” project, which was created to raise cultural awareness of climate change.
Although he initially hesitated to participate in the project while working on an album, he gained such inspiration that he felt he had “left his heart in Greenland.” This energy culminated in his solo album “Out of Noise.”
