Total Verre Victory
>TQ
Infinite Impermanance
Its great but not broken, decently fast for a trap and has a kickass artwork.
>TCaC
You see, what if we grabbed a bunch of 1200 ATK light machines, added Gradius to their names and effects and- ok sorry, jokes aside I would pick Bomberman (and Bombergirl too because why not).
The newest Trap Hole is pretty fun to use and its effect would be very thematically fitting for a FIRE machine archetype based around the bomberman games.
Gonna try whipping out a few cards after dinner.
>>
>>98158348
TQ: The Dominus cards, because their locks if you use them as Handtraps makes them useful in many things, but not everything. That particular prevention of them from being auto-includes in every deck even while still seeing significant use across many is just real neat.
>TCaC
Dance Dance Revolution. It uses the EMZ and center main monster zones as triggers for different effects, with some Senet Switch/Creature Swap effects to get cards in those zones.

I went back to the Tag Force 3 save i started roughly 5 years ago, the game wasted no time reminding me why i dropped it in the first place.
>messenger of peace, level limit area B, gravity bind and swords of revealing light in nearly all decks
>the few that don't run these cards max out on trap holes, widespread and torrential instead
>you have limited access to backrow removal until the midgame (basically just this one shitty spell that lets you pay 500 LP to destroy a face up spell/trap, and dust tornado, both of which you start out with)
>even at the endgame you STILL don't have a lot of choices for backrow removal (MST and heavy storm are limited, HFD is banned, dust tornado is rather slow)
>giant trunade is only useful IF you can OTK that same turn, since it only bounces backrow
The most infuriating thing about this whole mess however is that the computer doesn't even plan around their own fucking floodgates, they will activate messenger of peace and then spend upwards of 80 turns just setting shit, discarding and drawing until you happen to draw into backrow removal, and if you can't kill it right then and there it'll go back to stalling until one of you decks out. Mind you that these games have a dating system of sorts, and surrendering or losing has harsh penalties for whoever you're using as a partner, you're genuinely better off reloading your save.

I don't really care if this is cringe, you are scum. An inoffensive e-celeb dying a terrible death of cancer is not cause for mockery. I don't know this guy personally and I never really watched his videos outside of the MTG YouTuber collabs, but this is a brutal death. Hope you get the Uno reverse card like Total Biscuit and get cancer yourself cretinous, troglodytic bitch.

It's worse than that. He had a form of cancer for years (dacades?) that mimicked ulcerative colitis. Every day he woke up to immense pain and bloody shits he thought he just had that, and so did all his doctors. Just recently he had a more thorough check up and it turns out like 60% of his entire colon was riddled with cancer. There's really no coming back from that.
>>
>>
>>98160686
It was a more thorough check up that revealed it, it was a surgery to remove his entire large intestine and that was when they discovered it. To give you an idea of how hard to find it was. Just absolutely fucking awful luck.

kinda weird art but I still wonder if the guy who's making ecchi art of asuka like legit making a hentai (because he has "softcore pics" of judai and her in the bathtub or judai eating asuka's boobs) or if it's just ecchi.

I didn't notice her nipples peaking out until I reposted it. Hopefully jannies are kind. Anyway, I think its cool Metamorphosis is legal in the TCG and that people can Metamorphosis Sheep Tokens into Thousand Eyes again, even though it has no competitive viability.

From what I gathered he confirmed had UC, would shit blood thinking it's from UC (as that is a complication of it), then when he went in to have surgery to remove his colon they found he had stage IV colon cancer (a disease where a primary symptom is also shitting blood) that had already metastasized.

a little cringe since the other two Dominus will cost me $100 but fuck I'm happy. I'm really going to be annoyed if I don't get a Fountain though. I only bought this box purely for fountain LOL

Because there's a massive paradigm shift between Reaper and GOAT that you can individually point to Cyber Dragon for, but to Cyber Dragon's kit as a whole. It's like comparing the state of the game at DIFO and POTE.

>Be 16 years old and get really sick at a friend's pizza party
>Get really sick everytime you eat cheese or anything greasy
>Diagnosed with ulcerative collitis
>Try to shrug it off and use your youth to power through it. Nope
>Accept your condition, eat good and now the toilet is your second home
>Fast forward to 2024 you start having very painful stomach cramps. Even eating is painful
>Your doctor finds out your colon is so swollen that even passing shit through it is nigh impossible.
>You need to get it removed ASAP
>You get it removed, tell everyone you are now officially cured from Crohn's disease omitting a liiil' problem your doctors told you.
>Now you have to shit on a bag, at least you can now eat whatever you want, but the little thing you omitted: your doctor found cancer that the UC was hiding
>You need to start chemo soon.
>Pass months of chemo and beat cancer
>Tell everyone in a video about it
>Two months later at a screening doctors found the cancer reoccurred.
>Reach stage 4 and you need chemo ASAP
>Reach the point of critical surgery
>Survive it, odds still slim, doctors say its truly ogre and you won't make it.
>Endure it and live another month, get physical therapy. Post your recovery process. Live another month.
>Succumb to it 12 days later.
When I saw how yellow he was from the surgery and all I was like "Bruh, this looks BAD"
>>
>>
>>98161439
I knew things were bad when a couple of weeks ago he sent Ruxin all of his cards that he'd collected throughout his life, except for his Edison deck.
You don't start giving away your most cherished possessions if things are going well.
I do wonder if him keeping the Edison deck meant he hoped to play with it one last time.

As much as I hate the thumbnails that he used in the last few years, I don't think any Yugituber has done so much to build bridges to the other TCG communities and introduced them and struggling new duelists to Yu-Gi-Oh in a way that doesn't overwhelm them like Cimo did.
Cancer fucking sucks.

RIP. I am not that into Yu-gi-oh, but I watched the first progression series from the beginning because the idea was way too good. Last year I started watching him again because of his collabs with CGB who I watch regularly.

>>
>>98162890
Hell no, i do watch the usual deck profile or whatever, but i simply have no interest on following a "personality", specially not one whose entire career was built around making duckfaces at the camera and saying lame jokes.
A third of the thread wasted on this one dude, even though no one watches, or has ever mentioned him before. He's not even a professional player.
>>
>>
>>98162950
Yes, Rata and some other local guy called Zuba no one knows outside of my country.
>Le Epic Contrarian issue
I guess I should have added that I just don't find most of them that interessing anymore, the only one I dislike *for* being popular is DuelLogs and his derivated channels for other cardgames because of how he lets petreon members write video scripts for him and as result his channels wildly vary in quality.
One guy I started recently is ManaReborn but thats more of a MtG channel that sometimes dabble in ygo videos centered around converting cards from one game to another which is pretty cool.
That makes me think... Its kind of funny in retrospect how many japanese cardgames would end up as XYZ archetypes if ported over to yugioh because wow, nips sure LOVE stacking cards on top of each other.
>>98162977
>third of the thread wasted on this one dude, even though no one watches, or has ever mentioned him before. He's not even a professional player.
Unlike/dng/, people here actually enjoy talking more about the game more than whatever current e-celeb drama currently going on so I wouldn't worry about that, discussion on the topic will eventually die out after a while.
>>
>>98162890
The only guy I'm occasionally checking in on now is just Ruxin for his prog series with Kwik and his solo prog series vs. the Master Duel ladder like retro Masochist challenge.
The other guy that I watched, where I mainly got my decklists, quit YGO earlier this year since Doto quit YGO completely aside from cameos like his coin vs. dice duel vs. Jesse Kotton.
I don't really care for the sweaty "pros" or the really popular Yugitubers whose main schtick is just making the same video of "Yu-Gi-Oh! vs. <friend> except we randomized the cards in a new way".
>>
>>98159767
RIP Cimooooooo. Progression helped pull me back into playing Yu-Gi-Oh physically rather than just fucking around in online clients.
>>98162890
Kuribandit's "Everything You Need To Know" series is pretty good. Has some misses, but generally solid information.
Jon_Oh, Fun Box and Din-Oh have some fun challenge runs of Yu-Gi-Oh video games, with Jon_Oh's repeated type challenges of Forbidden Memories having him create custom stories for the runs to keep things fresh.
TGS Anime has started doing a series where he takes over anime characters and sees how far he can get using their decks. Does have a bit of cringe, but it's the good kind where it's sincere over irony-poisoned.
>>
>>98163344
I always liked TGS going back to analyze the anime duels type content. I think they got him to actually learn the modern game too which is funny. There's a definite split in his content where he was just doing lore vids (which were cool) and simple anime duels, and then all of a sudden he starts having actual meta knowledge at some point.

>>98163071
>Its kind of funny in retrospect how many japanese cardgames would end up as XYZ archetypes if ported over to yugioh because wow, nips sure LOVE stacking cards on top of each other.
Japanese card game design seems to favor physical representations for information rather than virtual and I personally agree with it to a point.
Also I don't think that just because a game stacks cards means that it would be an xyz archetype. Most of them would probably be better suited as simple counters or equips (eg INK or dragunity). It's easy to jump to that conclusion because of the physical play but I feel like that's trap because you're just going to have to keep overwriting the xyz mechanic and many of the cards not meshing with the extradeck being basically free cards you have access to.

Now I'mma not saying that its cool or that he deserved it, but its nothing really that special. Yes he did some yugioh shit and whatever, but what does that matter in the grand scheme of things? I do that. Them moderfuckers do more important shit all the time, so while I agree it sucks and its fine if y'are all sad and whatever, but that's my opinion the matter. Is there a site where I can get cheap basic proxies of cards? Every site I looked at has even non holo basic cards at like 6+ USD per card, where with MTG proxy I can get a single card for like 1/2 bucks
I'd still be saving money but paying 10 bucks for a holo proxy is still too much
>>
>>
>>98164232
$5 is the cheapest you're going to find for decent proxies, IMO it's worth it, i rocked a proxy baronne, s:p and chaos angel for years, even after they became accessible i was still using them because they did such a great job with them.
The girl (?) on etsy who sold them took down her store however.
