So, for those of you who wanted the exclusive "Rinka" Kemopla kit, it looks like BBTS is stocking her now. It seems she only uses the "High Kemono" (most bestial) parts, so no option to give her normal hands and feet or the face with the smaller snout; on the other hand, though, it seems she comes with her own clothes, which look neat. Otherwise everything I'm seeing in the promo shots is just identical to the "Grey Wolf" kit they just released.

Good fucking god, they still can't get the damn snouts right. Looks like a fucking fursuit, all artificial instead of something that could be on a living furry.
Fucking shills just blind to its flaws everywhere.

Accurate to the manga. He was supposed to be a freak of nature, but his design evolved into this "ahhh kawaii" type thing.

The Cryptoids Kickstarter launched yesterday and funded today with 38 days to go:

I'm waiting for the Reptoids to unlock and then I'll get a couple of them.

>articulated Rikuo and Sidon never
>>
>>
>>
>>11734801
Actually considering that Storm is doing Darkstalkers and have already chosen Victor of all characters, I'd say Rikuo is on the table. I wonder how they'd handle his back fin, though. Seems like it would mess with articulation.
>>
>>11733460
Cute, but a little too stylized and cartoonish for my taste. I hope they turn out well for people who enjoy em though.
>>11734801
I heard he was originally supposed to be a main protagonist, which would explain his main hero looks.
>>11735663
I have little to no faith Storm will do a good job. Their Darkstalkers so far have both been fairly underwhelming at best. Maybe their smaller scale Arena figures will be better, at least their Morrigan looked far better then her larger counterpart.
>>
>>
>>
>>11733460
I'm in for shadow mothman but none of the other designs appeal to me which is a shame because I'm a fan of cryptids.
Also the Squonk and Jackalope are pricy for what amounts to slug figures.
Also wtf are these captchas

Nice! How do they compare to the Revos? I ordered from bbts so I should get mine sometime before 2029. Can Nick's ears be moved to put them down? Like if he's sad or relaxed.

Yeah I regretted not getting the revos so I'm grabbing this 4 set. Compared to aftermarket prices for both Nick and Judy revos the set is a fraction of the price. Only thing I'd really miss is more head and hand options but this is still good enough. Can you swap the heads around each figure? I ordered a cheap GI Joe police hat for officer Nick and if I can get it to fit on his head I'd like to use the Hawaiian shirt head with it.
>>
>>11737059
Forgot to ask where you ordered that you got them so fast? Also for being cheaper than the Revos some aspects look better. Judy's Revo head looks a little uncanny and a bit off with Morstorms looking more toony and less jarring. I like the scruffier neck on Nick with the Morstorm too. How does articulation compare between them and the revos? Especially with Nick.

I managed to find it being sold on eBay, probably from China, so I bought it up quick. I do like thr Morstorm faceplates more since the Revo Nick I have has some problems with the space between the faceplate and the head

Nice, thanks a lot! I'm thinking of maybe fiddling with Nick's ears to see if I can add movement to them. Like maybe cut them off where they attach and add a tiny joint to them, but if it doesn't seem like it'd work I'll just leave them be.

had the girls all together for a minute but had kept from posting as actually putting them together was pretty tiring (not actually difficult at all really just time consuming)
They're pretty cool, much less glossy than I feared. They look good in person.
Really wish they had the outfits they have in the art on the box, they look great.

Not a model kit veteran by any means so take it with a grain of salt but pretty good i think
Joints are holding up, plastic feels nice, overall pretty good
Assembly was fine too, though I did have to super glue one strangely loose piece in the wolf's head though it was an unmoving unimportant piece. Standing was a bit finnicky at first but the claws actually help a bit and simply keeping the feet forward while having them lean forward keeps them standing pretty good.
Pretty satisfied with them.
>>
Anon with the Morstorm Nick and Judy, I asked earlier about Nick's ears. Looking at an Asian review of the figures I noticed Nick's ears look like they may be able to pull out? Obviously don't break him but I'm curious if they have a hidden joint if you pull them out a bit. I ask cause if they do it'd be nice to be able to bend his ears down. Also might be easier to add a joint to them since I'm kicking the idea around of removing them and adding a small ball joint to give them movement like Judy's.
Again don't break them lol I'm just curious if you can tell if the ears pull out at all.

these circular nubs are the things that connect the ears to the back plate. Trie pulling it back to see if they can pop out but doesn't look like they'll budge

>>
>>11739345
Hey thanks! I actually might try fiddling with one of the backplates to see what I can do. Worst case scenario I just permanently stick the ear back in place. If I can get a ball joint working though it may be cool.
>>
>>
>>
>>11739595
The Morstorm ones are close to Revo scale. Perspective is just making them seem big there, them being closer to the camera.
>>11739341
Was thinking about how I'd add the articulation I want and not sure if my idea will work due to the space inside. So if I can pop out the ears I'm just gonna try blu tack. Weird I'm so hung up on wanting the ears to move, but it seems like a weird omission to me. Whenever I finally get them I'll post pics if I like how they look even if I use blu tack.

She's fun. Solid kit.
I think you really want to get her or the cat alongside some outfits for them to wear if you don't already have anything for them. They're serviceable in the buff but I think clothes bring it all together

Personally, I think she's fine, I have some matte I got but I don't think I'll use it, It's really not that bad irl. Might be a bit annoying next to matte figures, but I don't think it'll bother me so much in that regard.

According to these, they're trying something new with her - her ears, tail, and "other parts" (probably boobs and upper thighs) are being made with some kind of soft material that hasn't been seen on any previous character so far. I'm hoping the stuff isn't prone to ripping or degrading like what you see on seamless bodies, but we won't know until people have her in-hand.

I mean, they only just got around to releasing Tonia a little while ago; HLJ says Daisy's not due until June, China Dress Liya isn't until the end of the year, and Margaret's also currently listed as a December release but will most likely be pushed back into 2027 because they're reengineering her thighs. No matter how you look at it, you've got a bit of a wait ahead of you.

There IS a "dragon girl" in the works, but she really doesn't look that great - she's basically just a human with a tail. We haven't seen any updated pictures of her prototype (that I'm aware of), though, so there's a chance she's being reworked or at least tweaked to make her look a bit more dragon-y.
>>
>>
>>
>>11749203
Yes, a Parasaur, though there's no ETA - the one image of her seemed to have all the characters lined up in the order of their releases, and she was the very last one in the image, so they're probably saving her for the very last wave of the line (assuming they even get that far).
It's a shame they haven't released any females at all yet - there are more straight people into sexy women out there than there are gay people into muscular baras, and they'd have drummed up more interest in their line if they had just included one female character per wave (or one every two waves, if they really just wanted to focus on the muscle men - give the female appreciators SOMETHING to bite at), but it looks like they're postponing it for as long as possible.
Also, a bit of a missed opportunity not making the entire Raptor wave female - we won't be getting any Clever Girls out of this line, sadly.
