Let's share our Blokees!!
FAQ:
>Are blokees 1/12?
Nope, they are not scaled, they come in series rather than scales
>What are those series?
Blokees has lots of them but the most usual ones are:
-Hero 5 (2 in)
-Hero 10 (4 in)
-Champion (5 in)
-Legend (7 in)
-Fantastics (7 in)
>Are blokees regular figures or model kits?
Depending on the series they can be just dissasembled toys (Hero 5-10,Fantastics, Daalamode, Dadoos..) or actual model kits with runners and everything (Champion, Legend)
>Where to buy
Aliexpress, shopee, gundamit are some good options. The brand is already in the west so you can also check what is locally available

The only thing that would look unpainted would be something like the white dog accessory included in the import only Superman.
Apparently the Penny Parker mecha from Marvel Rivals is going to include an unpainted figure of her, but that's a rare exception. Most are fully painted as seen on the box art.

not really no. you can paint some missing details if you want. model kits can only do so much.
I will recommend you buy some of these though, especially black. panel liners are really good to have and make those details pop. these are waterbased so you can clean th excess with water when they dry. I can also reccomend you buying a matte or semigloss top coat if you want to get rid of the bare plastic look. Mr.hobby brands are good

I've seen these at two of my local Walmarts as well as the TFOne Shockwave and Soundwave kits.
Was hunting for TF galaxy wave 8 since they're showing up in Easter toy bins but they apparently sold out fast here. Only managed to find one Unicron head. Probably the one I least wanted out of the set but I was amused to discover he fits on the regular neck ball joints for big head mode shenanigans.

I don't really have any WM near me, but the two I visited since those Easter toy bin reports were reported had no such things, just bargain bins. I couldn't even find Wave 6 or 7.

They got rid of the stands for some of the lines and you do realize you can not use their stands.
Yes, I agree makers should give us this crap - Spider-Man always should have wall crawling and twip hands but doesn't, flyers should have flight stands, etc. But other than shooting a note to them, or making a post to their Instagram, FB or other social (which at least is an option with Blokees), there's no point in specifically singaling them out in this

How they are making money when the gas prices are going through the roof is beyond me ....
And I'm too fucking busy and tired to do anything but bring boxes indoors.

I wish the Blokee's Official Site would actually show the clam shell tray so you could see the full accessories, because $59 is an increase from the other ones, and the description doesn't say much other than you get the Panda.
The box window kinda shows it, but it's not the clearest image.
>>
>>11738667
It's basically just two faces, the optional bangs, the stick and the mascot...pretty low compared to what regular Miku and Sakura Miku had. The sculpt it's obviously much much better than the other Mikus but still
>$59
Seriously??
I got mine for $48 on aliexpress and as far as I know it was that price because my country has a tariff of 30% towards everything chinese, but official prices seem to be higher lately. I hope blokees prices stop getting that costly because for only $10 more you could get a figma or a snail shell instead

Any European Transformers Blokees fans?
I'm heavily collecting these-blokees are so cool but...I noticed that we mostly have earlier releases.
So...i'm wondering how Blokees releases even appear outside of China?
Surely not in time (right now the newest galaxy blokee is Galaxy 9, right?)
Because we still have some Grimlock-wave boxes and i was so happy chasing Grimlock because he's difficult to get online.
I collected most of Grimlock's wave BUT...where the fuck is the middle of this wave?
We now have mostly GALAXY 8 everywhere. I didn't see that much of the previous waves... It's mostly Galaxy 8 and some leftovers of very early waves.
The distribution is just weird I guess?
Also it's kind of difficult to follow all these "Galaxy 1-2-3-4-5/etc" and "Defender 1-2-3-4-5/ect." - it makes my brain fry - too many waves and it feels like chaos.
I guess it doesn't feel like that if you live in China and get a new wave when it's released but it Europe it's weird...
>>
>>11739048
Not euro but I've seen very weird distributions depending the region. Last time I saw a french girl showing their pokemon blokees and they were all international version not imports something that I didn't know it existed for the Pokemon line
>>
>>11739048
there are sites in Europe that sell, so some are going to have older waves.
it also looks like comic stores and hobby stores sell, since it's so easy for you guys to move around the continent, that's what I would suggest.
on line, on reddit, people often do trade when they have extras so that might be something to look into - and you could also find fans on line who are in Europe who would be into the hobby

PICREL is Uni Uni's proof of delivery of a Blokee's CASE (and in case you've never bought one, a case in the size I purchased was 9 boxes inside the display box).
Does that flat thing look like a case to you?
Does it look like even one toy?
does it look like a book or a pack of card?
Notice the feet of the Uni Uni driver who took the photograph next to the package.
The snapshot they took was my address, so unlike the people who complain it was dropped off elsewhere, Uni Uni at least delivered to my apartment complex, but the other POD they sent me is one of my (unknown to me) neighbors and it clearly has their name and unit number, not mine, visible on that Proof of Delivery picture.
By the way, this isn't my front door, or my neighbor's front door. This isn't even the security gate to my building (which is to the immediate left of this area), this is the FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCESS DOOR to the complex, required by building codes to be accessible from the street when there's a security gate.
Uni Uni finally - after a bunch of back and forth - agreed to a $70+ refund but I hear most people are just told to STFU.
>>
>>
>>11740145
Uni Uni is a delivery company that handles a lot of import packages into the USA. They are a Canadian company, but I suspect are owned by Chinese nationals, since they tend to do a lot of Ali Express (and other international hobby/toy seller products, not just from China but Japan).
You hear them brought up in other threads, so it's not just a Blokee thing.
Easiest way for you to check is to go to any browser window and type "uni uni" and "reddit" - even if you have a reddit account, no need to log in, and you will see pages upon pages of negative posts about delivery experiences with this company from all over the planet.

It sucks Blokees is so batcock coded that their third figure was a psycho clown bitch,
but it made no sense that Terry was the concurrent release with Superman -
but both of those are probably due to their large Asian market they need to cater to. Warner Brothers probably forced the David Corensupes release.
Hopefully they at least do drunk Supergirl so we can get even a slightly different Krypto, but I really want them to do an army build of Superman Robots.
It seems like it would be a perfect fit for Blokees.

Whenever the next international toy fair is. They have a lot of characters to play with from the games but even the fact that it's all from an old movie, the MCU and Spidey & Friends animated kits are still the better sellers.

>Animated
I can understand that Mattel, McFarlane and other companies don't want to compete with a model kit action figure in the USA but it would be nice if the same way they get away with it with Marvel Rivals, if Blokees was allowed to give us MAWS and other animated versions of DC characters as figures.
My Adventures With Superman already has a lot of weeb/anime fan art and influence, it would be a perfect fit. And since I doubt Mattel will go back and re-release their Young Justice figures, they could do that line and anything else that seems to fit.
Like Smallville Season 11 as if it was animated related figures. Warner Brothers owns all this concept art, it wouldn't be hard for Blokees designers to turn it into something.

They're very cool little guys to play with and really articulated. the Chibi/SD proportions are fun too. I wish more lines were done in this style too.

I understood they meant an animated version of TF, I simply stated I wish they would add more figures that are also based on animated shows, since the problem appears to be that some companies don't want say the movie or comic versions to be sold in the USA (at least not 'officially/legally')
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>11742231
I understood that, just like there was a show called Green Lantern, the animated series.
It still doesn't change my point.
Blokees can't sell their Galaxy Class Spidey & Friend's animated series because various other USA company have those rights. Blokees is allowed to sell Marvel Rivals because it's based on a video game.
Sesame Street licensed themselves to Super7 and NECA and who knows (or cares) what else, but apparently Blokees can sell their pre-cool series but apparently can't produce a 7" (or similar sized) akin to say a Champion Class (or similar) figure of the Sesame Street characters, just the pre-cool.
My point was that it would be cool if Blokees explored what OTHER animated lines they could sell.
>>11741837
The Uber driver that took me home tonight and one other person I met at a mall that caters to hobbit kit enthusiast were both going on and on about these, the Jurassic Park and Transformer Defenders in the case of my driver, and the Batman ones in the case of the guy I met in Artesia, two counties over.
I've always ignored them, but I guess the next time I am in a Walmart where I can buy just the one for a few bucks, I should try them out. The JW ones look interesting and I don't understand why Walmart can sell them in store but Target doesn't? Because Walmart is a schlep for me.

Their Kurama is bigger than their Champions in terms of sheer volume, and don't expect their Flash or Absolute Batman to scale in any way to the Champions line. Just check how big their Legend/Action Transformers or Ultraman figures are and you'll get an idea of how big these are going to be.

https://www.mythicwerewolf.com owner is pretty approachable, and buys the imports to resell. He already sells many and has them broken out so if you see that it's not listed as an import, you can look around first and see if you can get better prices.
https://www.thenutrade.com is also an option but sometimes have no stock, next time they have it. My suggestion is to write them both and let them know you are interested and in what.
Obviously, they don't want to buy from an exporter and be stuck with product they can't sell.
BBTS definitely sells import only stuff plus the Blokees legal to sell in the USA. Entertainment Earth is also a good bet for LEGIT licensed stuff. EE is the authorized mom-and-pop whole seller so they are always likely to get stuff first in NA, of the licensed, official to sell thing. That said, EE offers no deals and their free shipping is steep to hit and expensive ($19.99) to pay by comparison to other sites. However, if you are buying cases and have other things you want/need, you can always combine - that's how I got my Marvel Rivals Venom already, when many are waiting for the legit release.
Finally, some hobby shops, Asian goods shops, import sellers in my metro area carry them, mostly Transformers and Pokemon, but once I expressed interest to non-TF, they said they would look, I ultimately bought from Ali and had the same experience you had with your CTs.

They aren't Hasbro, where they release MLs in waves of mutliples and BAFs, plus still do one-offs, store exclusives, and all the rest. While they are also doing the same for GI Joe and, as far as I know, doing the same for the Black Series and whatever else they sell.
Blokees has been doing Marvels, for example, for just a year plus or so. That's just been four waves, or five waves of the smaller (Galaxy Class) and simpler figures and we know from >>11739660 and >>11739686 types of examples, that these are pretty interchangeable as far as the manufacturing process goes.
Yes, they are getting more complicated, but they are only doing a few of those. As long as they hire enough people, they should be fine.

I love blokees. Their Galaxy transformers were nothing but a big suprise where you dont even care if these are blind boxes - you will get a fantastic figure every time and i will be glad to get a dupe.
But...
Will they continue The Movie cast?
it felt like we got all Galaxy waves up to Wave 8 at the same time (in our stores they are so random - you can get Galaxy 02 and Galaxy 08 at the same time).
How many Galaxy waves coming each year?
When did it all started? (when they released Galaxy 01?)
It's kind of confusing.
And we still need Kup/Perceptor/Arcee/Blurr and Wreck Gar/Junkions and many others.
Will we get those?
There is a robot-form of Shakrticon in Galaxy 08. That means we will get the regular shakrticon??
>>
>>11744960
>blind boxes - you will get a fantastic figure every time and i will be glad to get a dupe.
Why not buy full cases? Blokees stood out among the other blindbox makers for having no duplicates if you buy the full case and now everyone has followed suit. It's like the one big pro-consumer change in the often-predatory blind box market.
>>
>>11744962
>Why not buy full cases?
not fun
I'd rather buy 1 blokee box when i'm doing groceries (i'm going to our mall (we still have those in europe) and before buying stuff to eat im visiting the shop where they selling geek-stuff and buying blokees there)
It's much more fun - like when you was a kid and mom gave you money to buy Kinder Surprise eggs.
Buying a whole case is an equivalent of Soulless AI-sloppa content.
I don't want to open the whole wave at once and be done with it. It's not fun.

Top kek. yeah
The most awesome "chase figures" were the ones with mechanics inside that used rubber strings and gears. some 90s kinder toys were insanely engineered for such a tiny toy.

All of the current Fantastics Series Mikus.
I guess they are going to make every miku 7in from now on
The figure doesn't even needs to be built, this is actually just an action figure. No water decals or anything. I can see how it is more expensive than the others, the sculpting and overall level of detail it's way better than the last release, I would put her on figma level except the plastic is cheaper and doesn't have a consistent matte finish.
Now paying $59 (mine was $48) for her feels ridiculous, I would wait for a discount. And I hope blokees starts making these figure with harder plastic for the hands and hair because they being bendy have never worked out that well

The Batman Defenders are available at BBTS and at the mythicwarewolf. Yes, they are cheaper at Ali but we're talking maybe $10 the case and maybe something more on shipping depending on where you order.
The Batman Beyond, Superman are readily available on eBay but you do pay and will get a pristine box. For about 30 to 50% less, you can order from Ali but if you are in North America and care about your boxes, it's something to be aware about.
Also, it's always possible you don't get your package and will need to get a refund. One of my cases never arrived at my address. Fortunately, it was easy to show with the shipping company's own proof of delivery.
I'm not interested but I think the Harley is now also available. The rest has only been announced and not yet been for sale.

The problem is that not all of them can comfortably accommodate those drivers. That's why their marketing and sponsored shills only show the drivers with the same few cars. But I did pick up four more of the Sesame Street pre-cools. I forgot I don't have the fucking girl - she was there and I passed her by for a second Ernie.
They also had minions and two different waves of TF Galaxies.

I own all five of them.
They take about an hour to build if you take care and are patient about scratching up the finish, etc.
The Cap looks the most normal and like a Marvel Legends or any other ABS/soft plastic action figure.
All of them are slightly smaller than Marvel Legends (and therefore slightly out of scale with other Marvel shit like Mafex) but except for Thor, they look fine with other characters, IMHO.

>they are using a more "realistic" appearance for comic stuff
The Cap and the Wolverine look realistic enough. So does DP for that matter.
Thor is problematic because it looks like some kitbash custom OC.
The Ironman looks like IM because - essentially - it's just one of the empty suits flying around and not actually RDJ Iron Manlet.
It's like the Star War's Storm Troopers. But the Luke and Han of those look very "realistic" as well, so you are right - they are moving to that.
The CorenSupes Blokees definitely looks like the actor and definitely looks realistic.
The only thing it's really missing is height.
I'm looking forward to them making a comic accurate version.
Allegedly - according to one of the likely paid mods at the Blokee subreddit - we're getting the Justice League from the DCAU next, and those will likely look as 'cartoonish' as the Galaxy class Spidey and Friends did.
I'd rather see them do some more movie and TV figures and give us an entire line-up: George Reeves, Dean Cain, Tyler Hoechlin and the Kingdom Come Brandon Routh, plus Melissa Benoit.
Then they could do the two syndicated Superboys and two versions of Tom Welling, plus Laura Vandervoort's Supergirl from Smallville.
Then they can spend some money and do Chris, Henry, and Brandon with a re-release David.
And rinse and repeat the same thing with Batman.

If they are doing Han and Luke in storm troopers, they are probably going to do some more from the first three OG movies first.
That said, they did do a Mando and Grogu and also released a few more and it looks like more are coming, and they are at least promoting these in America, even if they aren't officially for sale. BBTS had the Han and Solo/Darth and the storm troopers, but not the case of Galaxy troopers.
BBTS thus far hasn't sold the Mandolorian figures (and of course, neither has GameStop or EE since they are official channels, so they don't have the OG movie kits either).
So don't think any of these are legal to sell in the states (which is also probably a Hasbro issue with Disney).

The Vader and Storm Trooper champion class kits are apparently showing up in Walmart now.

Good to know. But I was just debating doing an order for some stuff I need and checked and they aren't available to order on-line.
It did take a few days for the Marvel Infinity War figures to show up so that might be the lag? Or having enough stock to ship?

We still have those.
pic - my today's pull from Kinder egg (i always buy 1-2 kinders after buying food for half-month)
They still making toys with "rubber band trigger mechanism". I think the rubber band is even the same size.
ALSO!!! I think Kinder was reanimated. K. eggs sucked so hard during 2010s - very simplified and dumbed down.
Now you get all kinds of cool stuff - i even got a pull-back car - a very complicated mechanism by modern kinder standarts.
Maybe kinder eggs had problems during 2010s and now they are coming back in full glory?
Or maybe they see a competitive market of all kinds of blind bag toys (like...i dont know...BLOKEES for example lol?) and decided to make cool toys again?
