You're only supposed to do it to trigger the autists in /pcg/.

I saw this thread over there, I got a Kek seeing it over here, I gotta say I like it anon. It’s not too much and kinda brightens up the whole thing.
>>

>/g/ puts LGBT lights on everything
>weeb weebs
Yeah, as usual, I don't agree with /g/ on this and if you're gonna decorate the inside of your case, this is pretty neat
Is heat damage a risk? Is the toy cheap enough it doesn't matter?
>>
>>11741841
Looks like a statue, so it doesn’t move.
>>
>>11741864
True for OPs reference pic but >>11741691 looks articulated
>>
I don't have a PC case myself, but I think figures in them look neat.
>>
>>11741682
owning one already sealed it
>>
>>11741682
That's a statue, statues belong on /a/. Ask them.

>witch Miku
Very nice, just be careful with her staff as it’s a little loosely connected and scuffs easily.
>>
>>11741682
I think it looks cute but I'd be concerned about some kind of damage to the figure
>>
>>11741682
Probably not good for the figure. Also, I have fans along the bottom and top of my case, blowing from the bottom up to the top and then out.

How hot do your cases get anons? Even with a 4080 my case only hits like 48c max when I run demanding games. What suitcase are you guys using and why isn't a Fractal Design Meshify 2?
>>
>>11742184
I just thing the constant temperature swings would eventually cause issues with the paint and make the plastic brittle.
>>
>>11741901
OP's pick is a different figure than the other one OP figure is a static PVC statue. The second one is an articulated Figma Miku. Both, however, are safe. It might get hot in certain PCs, but not hot enough to melt part of the figure unless you're using it as a friggin heat sink or something else equally retarded.
>>
>>11741682
Degenerate? Maybe. That's up to the individual It is, however, perfectly safe so long as you don't slap it on top of the CPU and use it as a heat sink or something.

She’s here! A bit tricky getting an optimal spot so just keeping this pose for a bit. The case runs pretty cool. This fins on the card can get a bit hot but she’s not touching those
>>
>>11743242
I was thinking damage to the colour e.g. beiging parts or the slow wear by expansion and contraction
>>
>>11741682
I know next to nothing about PC but dont they get really hot? Wouldn't they potentially melt your weeb dolls?

In the 90's and early 2000's, everybody had a cluttered rat's nest of cables in their PC. Multiple CD/DVD drives, Floppy drive, "x" number of Harddrives and they all used big wide IDE cables. It all worked and temperatures were fine. Even under peak load, your PC doesn't get that hot. It's never dealt any damage to all of that plasticy stuff, so it'll do nothing to your figures.
>>
>>11744461
Why would you do that though? Wouldn't the heat just...warp or melt something? Not like you can admire the figure in there.

My pc runs pretty cool. The case never gets above 30c.
The real problem is I nicked her hat on the fan putting her in because I’m a dumbass and didn’t turn it off first
Good thing I’m not a collector/intend to resell. But I do see the appeal of these now
>>
>>11744690
it doesn't get that hot. as I stated, if the inside of your pc ever got that hot, everything would get melting

>>11741691
>>11744780
>>11743937
This design is retarded. Put something better in your PC.
>>
>>11745446
I wanted the 2025 version but it's not available yet. Regardless I quite like it and she will stay there for the life of the pc. Maybe by some friends come July
>>
>>11744690
Average PC temps are basically a hot day in Arizona.
>>
>>11741682
Its not but i put it outside of pc because its easier if i want to pick it up and play with it
>>
dollies are for girls, any man who plays with them didn't get the beatings he needed as a child
>>
>>11745250
This. The ambient temp in a modern PC case that's not a rats nest of cables will not get hot enough to fuck up a toy. Especially if you stick it in the front of your case like most people where your intake fans are. I swear you people are the dumbest bunch of motherfuckers on the planet.
>>
I used to have figures in there, but now it's just a 7-11.
>>
>>11745976
i vibe with that
>>
>>11745976
Nice lol
>>
>>11741682

OP, no considering what I have in mine!!!FACT!!!
>>
>>11741682
Basically this >>11742008
If you already own one, it doesn't make a difference where you keep it.

A PC case may in fact be a pretty neat "display case" if you have one of those cases that have a giant window and RGB lighting. Might as well make use of it.

>>11747317
Freak
>>
>>11745976
You ever think that the tiny machine gnomes that secretly run and spy inside your PC step outta that 7/11 and think THEY'RE the ones tripping when they see the spinny fan blades in the parking lot?
>>
>>11745755
Geez, that bad huh?

>>11741682
No ITS dope
But i cant make It Look right
