They’ve had their $4 flat rate shipping since their inception back in 1999… truly sad to see them have to increase it. Thankfully it’s not by much and the Pile of Loot system is still very much worth it.

$2 isn’t much of an increase for batch shipping but this definitely will make ordering and shipping a single item a lot less appealing than competitors. I already really try to do all those kind of purchases off Amazon.

>desu I'm surprised they hadn't increased it before now.
A first-class stamp was .33 when they opened. There's talk of taking them up to .95 next year. Postage rate increases, combined with the tariffs and all the assorted operating inputs, I'm surprised they kept it at $4 this long, too.

One more reason to quit collecting. There are quite a lot now. I laugh at everyone who keeps saying, "Well X dollars more isn't much" for every increase on every line and every shipping charge and every tariff and tax. That shit adds up.

Shows how fake this place is. It's a very slow board, very few match it, which means the 50 people that come here would ever believe that two people made the same thread without knowing the other already made it.

Yeah seriously. Even if you don't struggle to afford it, just think about the savings you are losing. Maybe it doesn't matter to multimillionaires but I don't think there are many on the board and it's mainly larpers that love to call others poor for some reason.

Sweetie, come back when you have spent $300 on heads.
I'm not poor, I'm getting rid of shit because I don't want it, that's why it's called deaccession. It no longer serves a purpose or a need.
Learn some proper English if you plan to type in this language, and even better, get some Logical Thinking in your third world loser brain.

Went on down to the big bad toy store. Checked with my credit man and he said yall should be good for a grand or 4. But went on down to the big bad toy store and that mean ol clerk said "sorry boy your credit ain't good here no mo". I just wanted a figure of Captain Jack but he said "boy without a solid line of credit that's one figure you'll lack." That day I went away an' vowed I wouldn't come back, even for an exclusive Storm Street Fighter pack.

At most, it's like an extra $6-8 dollars a year if you let your piles go the furthest they can

It will only get worse. It's never gotten any better.
When a few projects wrap up on other boards, those communities are leaving this fake place. It takes effort to have a community, and this place is too lazy and apathetic to keep one. Even found a place to post toys, too.
When we leave, there will be no goodbye. Just a void for the samefags, bots, & trolls to fill. Enjoy your neve ending ride!

Modern kids don't know how to write.
They can barely fucking spell and are worse than your grandparents who believe and suck up anything posted on their Facebook walls, because zoomies are swearing by shit on tiktok just because it's set to Taylor Swift music or someone is dancing.
It's embarrassing that this is what society has devolved to.
Humanity can't get extinct fast enough if they are the future.
tl;dr sites like this that require engagement are dead because 15-25 year olds have even less attention span

I made the other thread. To be fair, this thread was posted about 45 seconds to a minute before mine and I didn't realize he had created it. Seems like we both made our threads a few minutes after they sent the email out.
