I find the originals quite ugly. I don't like the broad T shaped torso or muted color schemes, the typical slouched, lumbering posture doesn't help. I think the lights and more slim human proportions suit them better for what they actually are, and look much better in dynamic poses.

That said the proportion argument is always quite funny to me concerning how often the evas are drawn with slimmer more rebuild like proportions almost constantly in the original anime.

the discrepancies in prices is a real hassle. for some kits the brick and mortar stores (surugaya and mandarake) sell them for double the price compared to mercari and y auctions, sometimes the price is really fair. mandarake prices are the same across all stores and online if the condition is the same, thats not the case with surugaya. they have a shitton of stores and prices are all fucking over the place. i'm hunting for the hoihoi legacy kits and it's super fucking aids having to keep an eye on 3 or 4 different websites for each kit.
speaking of, anyone built the old hoihoi legacy kits? you've got like 12 hours to discourage me

30MS thighs don't really fit well into the robot lower thighs all that well. There ARE 30MM robots whose thighs will house 30MS upper thighs like gardonova.
The arm won't really grab the 30MS upper arm all that well, but the 30MM shoulder ball joint fits 30MS torsos.

It's just Gourai Ver 2, but you get 2 sets of ALL armor runners in brown and green.

2. Bloomers tend to be tighter and more form-fitting while being made of stretchable material like spandex, not this loose, puffy and creasy shit that looks like a diaper.

All of the Gourai Ver .2's are pretty equal, just depends what colour you'd prefer her in. Exosuit Gourai is also a Ver.2 and obviously also has the FA version of her too, so if you can get that as a reasonable price she's got the most.

rather obvious in hindsight, but literally 90% of the build is repeating the same instruction four times. After that, you're given the filmiest stand I've ever seen. It uses a screw and it's completely loose, so it can't stand at all unless you use the armor's own tail to stand her up

If what your asking about is alternate bare parts then yes for one and no for the other. The larger "ring" has a bare scaled alternative piece. The smaller one is actually slotted into the tail piece so without it it would be a detailless gap in her tail.

The only thing I know about the Pomock prototype is that it was on the MMS3rd Tall body and likely had only one weapon. Prototype Partio was the same - she only had a gun (which wasn't included in the proper retail release) and her tail-sword, and was on the Tall body instead of the Small.

Finally got my stuff but I'll never get Kagutsuchi, should have used DHL from the start. I have never wished cancer to anyone but i hope whoever stole my shit one day steals a radioactive isotope and loses both hands.

Original version the main support arm to the helmet, and one of the tentacles are shattered. She isn't on a shelf any more because the stand hole cracked and turned her into a helicopter.

My guess would just be stick her in a bikini. That's been the case for the rest of the line, except Mai where they did her school uniform in addition to the bunny suit. Holo does have multiple outfits at least, but that might make the parts count higher than what Kadokawa would go for. I'll just wait for the prototype and see what we get, I'm not expecting nude to be an option.

Good to hear at least the updated version holds up. The amount of stuff connected by one peg or ball joint is still a bit unnerving. Her shoulder ball joints are a bit loose for some reason but everything else seems solid. I've still got some details to paint and panel lining to do, but here she is assembled with the blue board appropriate boobs. I didn't have the right batteries for the lanterns, they'll come Tuesday. It's annoying that there are so many different coin/button cells. I put her 'other' bits on a Puni Mofu Mao base body, which I sadly can't post here but damn it's nice.

Nah, literally a round peg into a square hole, and you'd have to do something about the shoulders. They do work on a 1.5 MD, which Lania is basically a copy of. Although I do want to figure out some way of making a Puni Mofu oppai lol beyond just swapping on Xiao's chest part.

It may be a long shot, but if they want something skimpier without going full nude, she has been depicted in a variety of outfits they've used for official art and statues. So they could dress her up like pic related, or a cheongsam, or a bunnygirl outfit, and so on.
I also like the blue outfit she wears at the beginning of the series, but depending on how it's handled she could turn into a traffic cone like the recent figma was.
