Over the last +30yrs of gunpla building I’ve built several 1/100 MGs, many 1/100 and 1/144 HGs, and even a PG 1/60, and yet I ended up rage quitting Super Fumina and two Hyper Gyankos mid-build.

I can’t explain it, but those janky kits just frustrated the hell outta me.

I put together one of those Pokemon model kit figures. The Feralgatr sucked. I didn't realize they used stickers for a lot of the details, and holy fuck the stickers did NOT stick to shiny plastic. Horrible.

Sounds like it's faithful to the mon then!
Nah I'm hating gen 2 guys are cool

I've barely put any model kits together, so probably this Frieza which wasn't very hard, but took more work than the Kylo Ren. Made a good 100% Frieza before the SHF came out. Still have a Magnamon I have to put together and there's a few other Digimon kits that are tempting, though I'm really lazy about assembling them.

THOSE FUCKING STICKERS

Worst I've ever built was the Fujimi Great Might Gaine which is notorious among Japanese modellers and regarded as one of the "legendary shit-kits" over there

The 2 guns you had to build that came with this snail shell figure.

Snail shell makes some fantastic figures but after building those 2 guns they should never attempt any sort of model kit builds ever again.
>instructions are just short of fuck you figure it out yourself
>numerous pieces don't fit like they should
>likely cheaper materials that can't withstand the pressure it takes to make some parts snap together
You come in thinking oh cool 2 guns you can slap together in 30 mins and leave beaten down like a man with arthritis that just put together a hmm shield liger

They may be shit but I like the proportions

Gashapon Quests figures. They don't look like they would be hard, but I feel like they are very poorly made. Which really shouldn't be a surprise being gashapon. I spent close to an hour on some figures, fucking up my fingers, trying to get the pieces together. They also fall apart pretty easily too.

I don't use to build hardcore model kits, just the kind of easy stuff like Little Armory, Hasegawa furniture, or action figure kits where everything fits without glue and can stay unpainted. I got this Motocompo expecting it to be somewhat like that, a simple and cute kit, and it turns out it's a reissued, classic model kit from like forty years ago without any quality of life features and it's meant for display, not play.
Many pieces wouldn't connect and you are just expected to glue them in place, there's stuff you'd expect to be cast in convenient colors and it wasn't... I guess it may be normal for models.
I accidentally got the rear wheel locked because the pieces holding it had to be glued (I managed to assemble the front wheel and most importantly the steering in working condition), but to be fair to myself, when I watched some review/assembling videos they seemed to mostly ignore any theoretically moving features and glue bricked it all for a static display, which I guess it's what it was meant to be.
