What's the point? I'm a lifelong Dragon Ball fan, and I've completely given up collecting the figures. SH Figuarts, for whatever reason, decided that they no longer gave a fuck about the quality of Dragon Ball figures (I know there have always been shotty releases, but still), and Dragon Stars is largely horrible. How do they even decide on what character they're making next? Nobody gives a fuck about Android 13, and I say this as an Android 13 fan.

At this point, why not just get the Tonsen Kid Buu? Especially with Super likely being a focus for the future, Tonsen is the best (and only) option you will have for quite some time.

Android 13 is one of the more exciting announcements out of any figures news for Dragon Ball right now. He's completely out of left field and he isn't another Goku, Vegeta, Gogeta or Broly form like 3p and official. Yes I would have rather hadbase 13. But 13 is not the issue. It's the fact that he's surrounded by all the same guys we've seen over and over.

Actually showing that Frieza figure or anyone we haven't seen 20 times before would have been huge for the line. Instead we get Goku. Don't worry 3p is also doing big things like Gogeta and Broly. Don't get me wrong, both are cool, but it's hard to be excited when there's so many releases of normal and ss4. Most exciting 3p is the base and SS Broly and then a bunch of teasers of figures they'll never get to.

The Goku spam was actually really well received and necessary to get the main character up to the standard of the other shonen tamashii lines. I remember the kind heart saiyan with the SS Vegeta reveal was the most excited people were after a long slog of Daima. Rage fighter and the 2 Super Gokus were really exciting too. You had to get these done sooner or later so they all just came at once. The Bardock and 2 pack of Dodoria Zarbon were 2 releases that were fairly meh, 13 is good and we're here now waiting for a new drop for about 2 months now.

Well received and causing excitement in the line are two different things. They could be the best figures ever but at the end of the day they just more Goku forms we've had before. A whole bunch of new characters are going to be more exciting than new Gokus. Especially after the lull of the line the past few years.

Even though final form Frieza is a redo, he was also one of the first figures in the line. His reveal is going to be bigger than any Goku redo. Add a few more reveals and you would have a nice spark of excitement.

Bought a HA010 battle damage kit for my original release gohan and ended up causing major stress marks to the dreaded bad QC hip joint. Also, turns it had two right legs, never noticed. The hip ball peg hasn't broken off completely yet, but it will one day. Is there any fix at this point or am I fucked?

4th is as small as 1st form after 2nd is gigantic, so it's not a "he can only get bigger" thing.
And 3rd form is more of a manic ki slinger to 2nd's brutish brawler.

The first issue is that Daima was not very popular and I think the second issue is they can't just 'recycle' the SS4 Daima body like they can most other general release Gokus. Generally their logic seems to be if there's 2 similar enough releases one ends up being general and one exclusive. LSS Goku was general then blue shirt Goku is pbandai, both are Namek guy to them. UI shirtless general, blue shirt UI Sign con exclusive. G5 Luffy there's 2 and the 2nd one is exclusive. Same with Wano Zoro, the 2nd that's shirtless is exclusive. Now that being said the Daima SS4 Goku doesn't really fall into this and they prob just thought it was too niche for a general release given their data on Daima releases so far.

I agree, I much prefer the ZT body over my BD. I just got my shipping notification for the purple version. Anyone know if the skirt parts are swappable in case I wanted to kit bash with BD for damaged look?

My MP Broly heads came from 5Ktoys and the base head was missing the earrings and one ear didn't even have the earring hole.

Just got my GT Kid Goku in today. I already had GT Trunks so its been fun using the dlc parts.

Honestly it was the effects line that got me into collections, right from when the impacts were announced I've pretty much bought everyone in every color.
In terms of which ones id recommended it depends on what you collect and whether they make sense. The smoke, explosions and impacts and my favorite, the lightning and auras are probably the 2 worst.

I'd recommend the rocks you can plug stands into them and make different formations with them. I thought picrel was a pretty cool way to set it up using 4 of them.

xeno masked ss4 broly comes in today. Will probably sell this one and but like 5 more to do the same and finally keep one. Sadly my ss4 regular broly fell off my bookcase somehow and 2 parts of the ki blast broke. Was able to glue one back but the other has a part too far stuck in.

It's this. Pre-tariffs, I preordered Guru and Krillin and it was going to be a whopping 60 USD dollars shipped via Surface / By Ship. Tariffs rolled around and then they cancelled that option so you are forced to use either FedEx or DHL and both are fast, but opportunistic cunts. When all was said and done, it ended up being ~200USD to ship both Guru and Krillin.

At this point, I don't even look at NinNin's sales because they are never discounted enough to break even once you factor in the shipping and duty costs to the US.
