robo girl model kit is great. it takes a lot of time to build because you built the same head like 3 times and the number of parts for the legs feels a bit excessive, but so far she had hold on together pretty damn well. she looked so gorgeous for an unpainted kit it was my first time trying water decals and even that was kinda fun.

Got a bootleg SHF Lunch in the other day; paint is a mess but aside from slightly too loose torso joints (fixed with varnish) and slightly too tight shoulder joints (fixed with silicone dry lube spray) she's actually surprisingly solid. Gonna use the body as a custom base, specifically to make Asuka here into (even more of) a whore. Head's from the Blokees Asuka connected with a Hobby Base joint and ball; I could have used the Blokees neck joint but I would have had to cut the stem down and I don't wanna do that.

I'm not into Street Fighter so I never got Quinn Lee but decided to pick up the blank and this is one of the best feeling figures I have owned in terms of plastic material/quality and joint tightness. I understand the Quinn Lee hype now, the body sculpt really is a work of art. Even with the feet as small as they are, she can balance on her toes. Maybe articulation could have been a little better in some areas for instance drop down hips might have been helpful but it's still solid. Also this is my new favorite ass sculpt. I wish all figures were like this.

Not shaming or disrespecting but if you guys are into things like this wouldn't it make more sense to buy an actual real doll type of product? From what I've seen you get get them normal looking to anime/fantasy sculpts

This disappoints me, and I'm not just talking about the giraffe neck. The Blood Elf came with both the sculpted-on-underwear torso and an actually nude one, and of the two, the one with the underwear has the same smudging issues that people complained about with Sushing's characters' guns - the cheap black paint just ends up staining everything. While the issue is avoidable with the elf by just using the nude torso under the armor, this Not!Draenei only includes the painted-on underwear torso, and since character's actual clothes are softgoods, they're guaranteed to be ruined.
It's a shame, because I would have loved to get her and would even have been willing to overlook the neck and small head just so long as I actually got a Draenei figure out of it; maybe they'll learn from this and do a Lightforged one in the future with the nude torso included, or at least switch over to some not-cheap paint for the underwear.

Mechanically both heads and faceplate sets have the same peg system, allowing you to swap faceplates between both heads.
However, OG figma Musashi's faceplates include her red maple leaf earrings painted and molded on, and the Vegas Swimsuit Musashi does NOT have complete clearance for that with her collar. There's a strong risk you could break Musashi's earrings off during play, or worse; scrape off the paint, leaving fleshy, elongated earlobes terminating into three spikes.

It prevents legs from swinging backwards, it cannot truly capture the proper fluidity in motion of a pair of cheeks without major compromise, and it literally looks ass.
2) The superior sculpting separate asscheeks per leg. Compared to the previous, this method keeps the visual illusion of separate asscheeks alive.

I got the movie Mystique figure the other day and she's surprisingly sexy for a Marvel Legends. She's got a nicely sculpted tummy and feet, and decently size boobs, which make for a fun toy to mess with. The only gripe is that I think she was made before they started committing to giving females double-jointed elbows, so she's got single ones with poor range. Still, it's nice to have a fig of a design I found sexy as a lad, and probably the first blue-skinned gal that I ever liked.

given all her accessories that probably aren't DLC, this might just be a result of their unfortunately low bar for what a basic figure comes with. I'm a little torn, if we get more EX figures in the vein of snail with actual stuff I'd kinda prefer that to the oni who doesn't feel drastically different from a regular figure as far as what you get.
I know DLC is contentious and I'd rather get more accessories for the same price, but if regular figures follow the pattern of the angel and dog knight dlc packs I'd begrudgingly be okay with that too, at least their stuff seems kinda sizable as an add-on. The feet packs always seemed so small and niche to me, why bother separating them?

I wouldn't want to guess comparable size just eyeballing these figs. I remember no good figures had I think in his loungewear aileen video he tried swapping chests between aileen and modernia and while they kinda looked like they fit, one's torso was just wide enough that the alternate chest just kinda sat on it and didn't really pose, while the alternate combo had a decent gap if you weren't basically looking at it straight on. "looks like it fits" and "actually fits" have a narrow margin.

Not great, but good they did at least consider alternative eyes.
From plastic model kits I've gotten the idea that printed faces mark the price a bit - look at Bandai's 30 Minute Sister's line. There's some option packs that are a whole body with no head (no hair or faces) and they're like half the price of a "full" figure.
