I might have picked up a Rinzler (at Ollies) if it was sold individually. Hasbro clearly does not think Tron is a popular enough IP for retail (they are probably right) so they are doing these shenanigans with overpriced exclusive multipacks and haslabs. Because it's the only way to be worth it to them.

So much money left on the table. A Sentry with orange Light Cycle should have also been a no brainer. Pretty sure the Sentry Light Cycles were the same Gen 5 design as Sam's, so easy repaint there. Very dumb not releasing these army builders.

BBTS clearly buys stock and resells it. Given the long pre-order window on these Tron toys, it seems pretty evident that Hasbro is making them to order. There will be some extras made for addressing returns due to QC issues which could be sold later, and maybe they'll round up a bit to have some extras to sell once they're in stock, but I ultimately wouldn't count on these being available for long enough to get marked down. I could see this being a situation where few people pre-order them because they're waiting for a sale, and when they sell out without a sale happening the aftermarket prices get retarded because so few were produced.

Finally watched Tron Ares and surprisingly liked it. I wouldn't have minded even just Ares in his original red outfit but it just seems like everyone has little faith in the brand when even Hasbro has relegated the Legacy figures to being exclusives.
