Got the new launcher set with Croc Bite, and I love the shade of green on the string launcher(pity the grip doesn't coordinate too well with it). Wish I could find Draciel S, because it would look so good with it.

I can only speak from personal experience but I remember seeing a lot of those at my Target. In general, if you can't find something Hasbro's released at your walmarts that's the easiest next bet. and of course beysandbricks if you're willing to pay a bit more for an imported TT one

Is it me or is the game kind of dead now?

Just a little stagnant right now. The last good releases that actually changed things were Shark Scale last August, and I guess Clock Mirage in October. Everything else has either been a flop, or not good enough to compete with the top 5. There's not enough life being breathed into the game when the state of things is "Pick Wizard Rod, Shark Scale, and your favorite third filler Bey"
People are hyping Dran Strike to the moon, so maybe that'll be something. Surely a 42 gram blade will be good.

If it's very good then it will probably make the meta even worse with now you at least get variety in the third slot. It might end up as every deck being Dran Strike with Shark Scale and Wizard Rod from then on.

Found out about the Beyblade channel hosted by the streaming service Plex so I've been watching the OG series for the first time since middle school. Seeing everything again feels like the equivalent of saying someone misses the 4Kids dub of One Piece. It's almost as bad as the Metal Saga dub in terms of everything and in some cases worse. As a youth the OG series was everything to me, but I wouldn't mind it getting a rebudding like Sailor Moon did to be more accurate to the original show and cut out the bullshit they added like the faceless commentators and Dizzi (which thankfully G Revolution actually removed one of the two).

The Beyblade designs are launchers are still sick though. Some of the best in the series to this day.

When they first went up on Amazon last month, there were people in Ireland who saw them in stores, but I don't think anywhere else has seen one in person yet. My local stores have gotten the Croc Crunch + Launcher Grip, the Ghost Circle/Viking pack, and the Samurai Calibur pack, but nothing else from this wave. I think it's just Hasbro doing what they've done since this gen started.

Dran strike is heavy but the shape will likely make it recoily and be inconsistent at attacking. Plus the IWD of the metal gear chip will make it have worse stamina compared to other top tier attack blades.

Honestly, I've been sticking to what works with the stuff I have though honestly, I've gotten used to the talk that I usually ignored the meta and stuck to organizing events along with experimenting with combos.

Prize Unicorn Delta looks like it's paying homage to Blitz Unicorno from MFB(I think I can also see a hexagon in the sticker, too). Hasbro's Samurai Steel finally has Saber version. I am disappointed in the green Garuda, as I would've preferred a blue one, instead. Though, imagine if somebody decided to paint the metal black.

Can someone test something for me? I saw a video online of the Vertical assist-blade fitting INTO the Flare main-blade. If someone has both Phoenix Flare and the new Knight Fortress, could you test this for me? I want to see what it looks like from the top and side, and if it's even possible or some sort of trick.
