Do you guys want new versions of 16, 17 and 18? I like the original releases and feel like they held up the best of the 1.0s but they are starting to show their age now imo. I feel like we're going to get updates of the trio along with Semi Cell and Perfect Cell. Especially with the kw Cell release, Bandai will probably want to get their official version out soon. Maybe a new SSJ2 Gohan too.

it's a bit hard to tell BUT I think they FINALLY did what affmcustom did and put the peg into the sleeve part instead of into his fucking arm, but the articulation test didn't show the arm raising so it could be wrong, however the croissant now has a black peg instead of a clear one so it would match the sleeve

I think the Kamione body is too thin for SSJ4. I do like the Kamione leg mold better, but the colors on the DF are better. The DF's gonna fit in a smidge better with the Figuarts ssj4's. Undeniably the hair/faces on the DF are better.

DF Gogeta is a worse version of a superhero Gohan if their Z and Blue gogeta are anything to go by.
Meanwhile Kamione gogeta is an IMPROVED version of Legendary Goku, it actually acomplishes what bandai tries to do with the leg flaps, it has the best shins of the line and forearm movement (both original and exclusive to kamione), he also seems to have figure out the best way to do the vest.
the one thing i will say about DF is that they have a better hair+face combo
however one is a really mid as shit figure that will feel outdated the moment you have it in hand and the other is the kamione whom only fault is that it doesn't follow the GT style of faces that much

But I think these could end up being the best Base Gokus. I have no idea the fascination with the "updated" body. Initial impressions:
God, I can just FEEL the old on this figure.
He's objectively the oldest figure in the line that I own now. Technically. I suppose 40th anniversary makes him a reissue, but it doesn't seem like anything's been changed about him from that original release, looking at pictures.
So far, he aight, though. I think the lack of a gritted teeth face feels objectively wrong, same with the lack of an open mouth smile. Though, with his yelling face, due to the way it's modeled, I suppose you could see it as a laughing face from certain angles.

Surprisingly dynamic articulation. I figured it would be a lot more limited on a figure this old, but in some places he has more range than even the Super version. Like his arms, far wider range of movement. Yeah it comes at the cost of less-natural shoulder-to-torso-connections, but I can't argue with the results.
Took me a long time to get him to hold this pose. Ironically, getting the 1-leg, 1-hand on vegeta was easy, it was keeping Goku on his foot while also not letting the whole assembly fall over once he was there and stayed there that was the hard part. But he did not need a stand to hold this pose.

Unfortunately, due to the absolute boulder-shoulders, there was no way for him to put both hands on Trunk's shoulders in this picture. Disappointing. 0/10. Figure ruined.
However, the range and freedom of movement in the wrists removes that problem and brings him back up to... A B-Minus. I'll say.
Seriously the grippy hands can just shift an entire 90 degrees with no hinge joint, just ball-joints. And that's impressive.

Natural, this pose looked. There's a certain flow to it that I think fits well with how he moves. At least how he moves in the games, with those wide, swinging movements every time he throws out any kind of attack. So I'm glad this figure was able to capture that.
