You're an odd fellow, chungusfurry.

Lego isn't toy related anymore? How'd that happen?

Alright I found it.

And part 1 if you haven't seen it already:

>>
tl;dr for any sane people that don't want to watch feature length youtube videos:
>Guy has a shitton of classic star wars lego, over $200K worth. Has a franchise B&M store stock the collection for him on consignment.
>B&M store owner sells his franchise store to a new owner.
>The new owner goes "lol your consignment deal wasn't with me", just keeps the lego
>lego owner goes to cops, cops don't give a shit and tells him it's a civil court matter
>lego owner calls B&M corporate, they don't give a shit and say it's a franchise matter
>with the help of some youtuber, lego owner files a lawsuit
>the new B&M franchise store owner just straight-up does not respond to or show up for the lawsuit, making him automatically lose it
>decides to close the store (and keep the stolen lego)

>B&M store owner sells his franchise store to a new owner.

I really really wish karma was a thing because fuckers like the new store owner guy should die in a burning fire or from an extremely pestilent form of cancer. Reading about this makes me irrationally angry.
>>
>>
>>11795615
>>B&M store owner sells his franchise store to a new owner.
>>The new owner goes "lol your consignment deal wasn't with me", just keeps the lego
Wouldn't the original B&M store owner be responsible for the consignment still? It sounds like they are the ones who handed the merchandise to the new owner without taking responsibility for the items.
>>
>>
>>11796100
It shows security footage in the video that she asked about it and the guy was like don't worry lol it's fine we'll take care of it you can't take it :^)
What I really want to know is why exactly they just seemed to come out of nowhere and terminate her franchise and take over it... like that seems to just come out of nowhere and is glossed over in the video.
>>
>>11796310
There is a lot that makes absolutely no sense in the video. Even if they terminate her franchise, unless she was a stupid fuck who also signed a commercial lease with B&M or her franchise forced her to take a building they had leased, that entire set of circumstances makes absolutely no sense. Even if Utah is a half-ass backwards hell-hole, and it is, there's no reason for the police to take anyone's side unless they are being paid off, so there's also questions there.
The $10K credit card payments, the lack of inventory, the inventory, this is the kind of shit any decent local TV station or a public radio station associated with BYU or University of Utah would have taken on and gotten results from without needing this dude to film himself half naked making time lapse of what some white boy nerd things are thirst traps of him making cheap ramen and pasta. If this was a hospital trying to bilk an old grandpa out of $200K in unexpected surgical bills, a good public radio station or local newspaper reporter would have written up some stories and done a decent, actual investigation and gotten a solution with a lot less bullshit and certainly without a patreon.
>>
>>
But yes there is a lot of missing information which doesn't make any sense.
The narrative as I interpret from the video is basically that the B&M company (like the actual head office/top of the food chain) really really really wanted to steal (up to) $200k worth of vintage Star Wars Lego, and did so by forcing a franchise owner out somehow, and then have gone to cartoonishly villainous lengths to keep it... Like why does a company worth $100m want to risk so much just to steal (up to)$200k worth of stock?
The company released a statement (very boilerplate/fluff)
https://bricksandminifigs.com/blog/blog/2026/05/21/salem-oregon-bricks -and-minifigs-store-situation/
And it does just kinda say 'yeah we have his shit, but they weren't suppose to be selling on consignment so *shrug* it's ours now'
Like, WHY are they keeping it then? Why not just give it back? Why do they want this fraction of their company value in inventory so, so much?
>>
>>11796425
>hey we don't like elderly abuse, that isnt okay
>...but if there was a consignment, that wasnt allowed per corperate policy
>so be fair to us, okay bye bye
???
What a wierd response and situation. Also there was recently a video where one store 'accidentally' takes a super, super rare minifigure and calls if 'fake' anyways. All this tells me is I am glad I didn't decide to sell any of my Lego stuff to the local store near me.
>$100m
How is that company worth $100m?!?!
>>
>>
>>
>>11796425
>>11796470
My guess is the company is probably leveraged to the tits (i.e. they have a lot of debt) and so $200k of easily-sellable merchandise is actually a lot to them.

>>11796404
>Even if Utah is a half-ass backwards hell-hole, and it is, there's no reason for the police to take anyone's side unless they are being paid off, so there's also questions there.
The store was in Oregon and it's not clear why the police in Oregon took their side.
But B&M corporate is in Utah, and is seemingly in the same town as the two franchisees that took over the store in Oregon after the consignment. And they are all wealthy Mormons. And Mormons donate a lot of money to the Mormon church - they are technically required to tithe 10% of their annual income, and I'm sure the rich ones give more to show off. And all the cops in this town are also Mormon.
So it's the Mormon church.

>>11796564
If it is a franchise store, correct. Which explains why all those attempts to borrow against a credit card and then buy the stuff that was on consignment worked/would work, unless the store did something like decline or cancel the sale.
>>
>>11796564
>>11796683
The fucked thing is that the original franchisee was honouring the deal, but then the guys who own the company kicked out the owner of that particular store and brought their own person in, specifically to fuck up the deal.

Some youtube lawyer guy reacts
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14ktgvoH4Mc
Also interesting that B&M were getting a 35% cut for the consignment, so really Brian would have made $130k from all his sets. So take away the ones which already sold, this entire thing, all this bad press and destruction of reputation was only for like $100k. Like what the fuck were they thinking?

Nta but some of us have a life. I was just watching the lawyer talking video. It's over 30 mins long. 10 minutes in I skipped ahead because there is no resolution. It's just a guy talking about law, giving his opinion, repeating things they have already happened. I don't have time for that shit.

Because he wanted to sell it but wasn't confident in his ability to get full price on the secondary market.

True, but corporations with 9-figure market caps usually don't.
My theory is that they're drowning in debt and any revenue helps.
>>
>>11798174
>but then the guys who own the company kicked out the owner of that particular store and brought their own person in, specifically to fuck up the deal.
This is the key detail that demonstrates it was an intentional action, to steal the property.

>Like what the fuck were they thinking?
They would do it for $1...
Or for a single fucking penny.
They don't think, they only feel. That feeling they have inside them is only emptiness. A black fucking hole gravity well that absorbs all light and matter into it and still it hungers. They're just monsters.
I mean that fucking CEO who outright lied on video "Don't know what you're talking about" and then the fucking social media posts moments later. They don't even have a brain in their fucking head, they're using the corruption within the system to protect them.
They never consider the possibility that someone WILL go outside the "legal" system to set things right. Frankly, i would cut through the bullshit and use iron to get back the plastic. Fuck em. You make the legal process impossible, you make the illegal process a requirement.

It was messed up the guy on the phone was cussing him out and calling him a liar. It is like an elementary school bully going on a temper tantrum. Probably was a bully and liar most their life, raised that way, got their way most the time, etc.

>>
Is the US justice system fucking stupid, or is this just another one of Ben's contrivances for the video? Why does an individual filing a case have to serve the papers to the other party? Should this not be tasked to the courts or cops? Also, how can you reject being served? Even ignoring the corrupt cops, I can just reject papers and unless they have video (or audio) proof that I rejected being served, they cannot proceed with the lawsuit? What the actual fuck?
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>11799596
>Why does an individual filing a case have to serve the papers to the other party?
Because they have a right to know there are legal proceedings against them.
>Should this not be tasked to the courts or cops?
It's a civil matter so the taxpayer doesn't have to cover it. You can hire someone to do it for you, though. That's what the Asian woman in the car with Ben was for.
>Also, how can you reject being served?
My understanding is that you CAN'T reject being served, but the papers have to be physically delivered either to your person or to your house. In this case that was impossible due to police harassment.
If you can prove someone is avoiding being served, you can usually apply for an alternative means of serving them, like giving the papers to a family member. But you are expected to try to give it to them in person first.

I am more upset that it's just passing news just like everything else. Reddit will bitch and moan for 2 weeks, say they will never buy things from BAM again, then go right back to shopping after newest drama news drops. The evil company will get away with the inventory, legal action will be put on the guy who played shenanigans with the legal system to try and get it back, the laws will not change that allows them to pull a "just sue my bro", and the only reputation damage will be forgotten within the year to BAM.
Bad guys win, good guys lose, the American consumer keeps shoveling shit into their mouth.
I don't even like LEGO
>>
>>
>>
Its pretty greedy to outright steal sets you're getting 35% for that you didn't provide. It was already a free money glitch for the store and they advertised it heavily so it was a draw for more than just consignment sales.
But if you're letting someone take a 35% cut you should just sell your collection yourself, much easier to offer it up for 20% less and have buyers.
>>
>>
>>
>>
They should absolutely get the sets, or more realistically at this point, their financial compensation. But at the same time, I can't believe boomers would actually trust a fucking STRIP MALL store with $200K on consignment. I'm used to strip mall stores disappearing overnight so I can't imagine feeling safe leaving that much property upfront at any of them.

They can pull whatever deal they have with B&M that allows them to use Lego licensing and imagery in an official outlet store capacity. B&M only works because it's allowed by Lego themselves. Without Lego's backing, they lose any claim on officialism and authenticity.
>>11799598
Because it happened a long time ago, it's just taken this long to roll through all the legal processes and have things turn out even worse then expected. If it was just the theft of 200k worth of Lego, but the court forced the items returned and the original plaintiff got his stuff back, that'd be the end of it. But the fact that even after winning in court, the corporation behind B&M is still doing everything it can to be petty, vindictive and vile just escalates the entire situation even more.
>>11799805
I have one of these stores by me and I would frequently bring my 3y/o in to play for a bit before walking out with some $10 set or random mini-fig. I haven't gone back since I heard all this and I kind of don't want to knowing how bad this company is. But to make it worse, the owners of this location are actually nice people, my kid really likes hanging out in there and I do enjoy being surrounded by lego in one of the few remaining dedicated toy stores in my area.
In the end, this whole thing has nothing to do Lego as an item or a brand, and is just another example of toxic corporate behavior.
>>11799817
>>11799822
It's way less work to let a professional store, who has experience stocking, tracking and selling these items, to sell these kinds of items instead of having to do it entirely by yourself. It also helps ensure items are sold for the best price possible as a store will receive far less haggling then a private seller. Everything was going just fine until Corporate leadership stepped in and actively interfered with the agreed terms.

Yes, it was always a plan to buy lego as an investment for the future so the grandkids had a college fund. Lego has always been a pretty rock steady item to invest in, and it was a more fun and interactive way to save for the future.
And they didn't trust corporate, they trusted a local store they had a relationship with. For a while it was going fine, but corporate stepped in of their own accord and took multiple illegal actions in doing so. Not only are the owners of the stolen lego sets suing, but the owners of the franchise location who unfairly had their contract terminated are suing.
>>
>>
>>
>>11799971
>you need qualified people to make a list
lol no. its lego, its not like you're trying to sell some niche bygone product. people have demand for lego and jump all over decently priced listings like a pack of jackals. especially with the short production window of sets, even garbage ones that didn't sell like the batcave or black panther bust end up being worth more.

If this leaked email is real that was sent to all the franchisees, they too think this will be forgotten within 2-3 weeks just like me.
The thing is, your child isn't the target audience. 70-80% of BAMs sales are to adults. I could give live TV footage of the sweatshops and child tears drenching every piece of clothing from Amazon and the American consumer will still buy it bulk. Again, the world will cry fowl, say they will never buy again, bitch and moan, take a nap, then buy a Millennium Falcon.
And don't get me wrong, I would like nothing more than to see this jew of a CEO strung up by his faggy mustache, but it won't happen. I unironically think the Youtuber Troll is going to get into more trouble and potentially face jail time too.
>>
>>11796425
It seems like everyone involved is completely retarded. The conspiracy filled stunt video makes me think the whole thing is fake and probably tanks any ability for them to be taken seriously.
But B&M's statement seems to imply they really did just steal it and think "lol that's the previous franchise owner's problem" is a legitimate argument.
I guess it kind of makes sense, since B&M is a franchise. Franchises are vaguely pyramidal and appeal to knuckle dragging savages.

I tried to serve a guy papers for small-claims court a few years ago. The court told me the first step was sending him the papers via certified mail that he would have to sign for. He just didn't collect it from his mailbox and after three "attempts" the post office sent it back to me and said they couldn't deliver it. The next step was me having to pay my county sheriff's office a $100 "fee" to get them to serve the papers, but the retarded woman who they sent out came to MY house trying to serve me the papers because she saw my name and address on them. She argued with me for a while before I got her to understand what she was doing. She tried to play it off as "just getting everything taken care of."

I just don't understand why they wouldn't just pay the dude or give them the lego back. I mean, it seems like a very small issue compared to the size of the corporation. Like did it turn out the collection is worth more than their annual revenue or something
>>
>>11800884
I think they probably have a lot of debt and tight margins. I don't know what else would make $200k worth tanking their reputation for when their annual revenue is supposedly around $90 million.
Now at this point they're in so deep that they don't see a way out, so they're just gonna keep digging and hope they come out the other side. They hired a crisis management team and are telling franchisees that they're going to sue Ben and then all the outrage will blow over and it will be back to business as usual in just a few weeks. At this point they seem to be actually delusional about how much power and influence they really have, considering how many easily-disproven lies they've gone on record telling. Like corporate not being involved (proven false) or consignment sales not being allowed (proven false), while for some reason admitting that they DO have the legos.
>>
>>
>>
>>11800892
The owner of the company seems like the type of dumbass to have a good thing going then ruin it by embezzlement and going into debt but aggressively refuse to admit any wrongdoing. He’s also likely going to lose most profits from the legos now just trying to fight this in real life along with trying to fend off the unrelenting online autist warfare.
>>
>>11800899
The felonies occurred in Oregon so it's just a matter of putting enough pressure on the local county DA to prosecute them.
Not an expert but this might also qualify as a RICO case, which would get the feds involved, and the feds will rape the Mormon cops. BAM already said they're talking to the feds which means the feds are looking into things.
>>
>>
>>11800947
Each individual sale of a stolen set is a separate felony. We know they sold at least one, to a buyer that was hired by the owner's son to prove they still had the sets.
I hope they sold them all and shipped some across state lines and it turns into a federal RICO case.

I’m starting to wonder if the original owners might have stolen the collection. Because also according to BAM, the collection was kept off-site and Brian was aware of this. Corporate did not get access to this location when they repossessed the store. It seems the original owners were deep in debt and then leave the country right after losing the store? They probably sold the collection from the offsite location and then fled the country to try to avoid any consequence.
Corporate is still going about this in the wrong way though, they should have just paid Brian already, the bad PR from this is way worse than $100,000.

They might have a small portion of the sets, BAM corporate said that they believe there’s $2,000-$5,000 worth of sets when they took over the store that they believe to be Brian’s.
The majority of the collection I believe was held off-site.
Josh on the phone said something about “opening that stupid cupboard” when getting the sets back, you wouldn’t be able to fit a whole collection in a cupboard… but this might align that they have a small portion of the collection.
>>
>>11801801
Still doesn't really track with the fact that the previous owners are suing B&M and if they win, will pay Brian the $200K or whatever that he's owed with the proceedings. It doesn't make sense if they're willing to pay him to not give him the sets if they were the ones that had access to them. Why not just give him the sets back and keep the $200K from the settlement? Unless it's all to save face, but I kinda doubt it.
>>
>>11801801
if it's just a small portion why didnt josh say so? why did they never have a good faith conversation about the set instead of trying to always deny, trespass, and hide behind expensive litigation? why did josh say he would return the set and then completely change his story later? why did he say ben can return to the store to apologize and then ben had the police called on him?
any retard can watch ben's videos and see that this company is filled with greasy slimy cucks who lie nonstop just to keep some old guys legos to themselves. the only people interested in this corpo pr slop are paid shills like you
>>
>>11801794
That is most definitely true. B&M are just one of many companies who do this shit. They are just so shit and sloppy with their power tripping that they got this whole corruption ring exposed. This will become a hallmark internet happening that will live on. Once the unredacted police interactions are released all those cop and law channels will use and reupload videos about those clips for the rest of time.
>>
>>
>>
>>11801812
They seemingly were in bad debt, they probably sold the sets to get the money to move out of the US to Spain. They probably thought they’d be safe from any consequences but now BAM is still suing them. Them paying Brian is absolutely to save face, they own a publishing company and write books, so they definitely would be impacted if it came out they stole them.

>>11801834
Then as others stated, why didn't B&M just say that instead of doing all this other nonsense? Seems like it would've been way easier to just lay the blame on the previous owners instead of changing their story three or four fucking times.

I saw this video and I do not believe they were trying to steal it. The guy immediately found it and handed it over when asked about it, and said it was fake. Not in a "that's fake, let me take care of it for you" way but in a "that's fake, I don't want to buy it" way.

I don’t think corporate had that much information originally, they knew of the consignment but probably not all the specifics. I think they’re trying to push blame on the original owners now that they have more information. The whole consignment deal just seems shady in general.
>>
>>
>>11801854
Oh, they knew. We saw the CEO lying straight to Ben's face and saying there was never any consignment and the legos were never in the store.
There is no information suggesting that the consignment deal had any issues until corporate seized the store. We also know that corporate lied when they said consignment isn't allowed, because we've seen the actual contract and it says explicitly that consignment is allowed.
>>
It's too funny that these corporate idiots are burning down their entire company over this.
You just know they've been doing this illegal shit for so long that they're used to never having consequences to their theft because most people can't challenge them in court.
Until this random fucking youtuber goober exposed all their lies in this entertaining video and now they're in too deep to stop. If they return the legos they're basically admitting all fault and their fucking ceo has already been caught in the video lying so they're all in now, praying that this scandal dies down before they lose god knows how much more money compared to the pennies they stole.

I don't care what the corporation "says" they have lied again and again to media/staff/official statements. Until they can PROVE IT non of the PR shit they say matters.

I am a cop. I don't think they took his side. I just don't think they wanted to deal with anything more than a trespassing. Potential fake lottery, broken contracts this is above their pay grade and a cop can do nothing here. The Utah stuff though that is fucked up.
>>
>>11801910
>The timing of this and how conveniently she had to leave the country after this does not seem normal
the fuck are you talking about timing? she was already planning to leave, corporate came in and forced her out before she left formally. and then when she told them about the huge consignment the ceo said on the phone that theyll keep the consignment as profit for the new owner. its only "convenient timing" in your mind because you are watching everything unfold in hindsight. idiot.

>I don't think they took his side. I just don't think they wanted to deal with anything more than a trespassing.
I might have agreed with you if it weren't for the part where the one cop is about to investigate when the other comes over, whispers something in his ear, and then it's "okay, you have to go or you'll be arrested." It's clear the Oregon cops aren't half as corrupt as the ones in Utah but it still seems like someone high up in the department is telling them not to get involved.
>>
>>
>>11801913
>the fuck are you talking about timing? she was already planning to leave, corporate came in and forced her out before she left formally

>>

You don't have to. That's how it is. He probably whispered to him "ok we wasted enough time just end this so we can grab lunch". No one was arrested at the end even with how much they kept pushing against the cops, the cops just wanted to leave.

So, if you go to your house and find your land lord has kicked you out and changed the locks randomly and all your shit is outside in a pile this is a civil matter.
If you go home and find the land lord has locked you out and is SELLING YOUR STUFF, this is NOT a civil matter it is criminal. Actually, its BOTH a civil and criminal matter.
You cant SELL something you do not own. If I sell you a gold nugget but I don't actually have that gold nugget to give you its a criminal crime not a civil crime.
Additionally, they did have proof to show the cop that this was happening. He had a document with the store that showed his inventory, a document that showed the contract, a video of his entire inventory before it went out to the store, he had a video of his product still in the store (showing the similarities and identifying marks), and a video that it was being sold without consent. The cops decided this was NOT proof enough before ben even showed up. I'm not sure what more proof you think he needs anon? God to come down and say that it indeed was his product i'm not sure.

Then why’d he try to keep it and why’d the guy get lowballed at every store? And why’d that video get taken down too?
BAM is scummy by nature. It’s like the GameStop of toys.
>>
>>
>>11802053
>Then why’d he try to keep it
He didn't. He seemed confused when the guy asked if he had the figure, then he immediately checked his desk, found it, and handed it over without hesitation. As he handed it over he said it was fake. The guy asked him why it's fake, he explained why he thought it was fake, and then the guy asked "so you don't want to buy it?" and he said "no."
It was on the desk over by the computer, so I assume he was comparing it to images on the web to try and see if it was real and forgot to put it back in the tray.
I'd be more concerned about the guy who said "I think that's fake but I'll give you $50 for it just in case."
>>
>>
>>11802060
He said that because he got busted. He would have been more than happy to put it on sale with a price tag if he thought he could have. No one “accidentally” pockets minifigures.
You sound like you work or own a BAM.
>>
>>11802065
Are we talking about the same video? He didn't pocket it. It was on his desk.
https://youtu.be/NzAPe5GNetQ?t=902
He gets asked if there was a gold C3PO, he checks, finds it almost immediately, and hands it over. Then he says "that's fake, by the way" and turns away with zero interest in the minifig. This is exactly how I would expect him to act if it was an honest mistake. It's not how I would expect him to act if he thought he had a chance at tricking a clueless rube into handing over a $1000 minifig for cheap.
>You sound like you work or own a BAM
I had never even heard of BAM until I saw Ben's video. I'm not going to dispute that they lowball people. I just don't think this guy was trying to steal the minifig.
For the record, I don't think you should take any high-value collectable to a brick-and-mortar reseller. It's no different from a pawn shop, they HAVE to lowball you to stay in business. Sell that shit yourself. If you must take it to a reseller, do your research first so you know what it's worth.

I'm on Ben and Brian's side for this, but the last two update videos they've done where they read emails hurt me. It's like they're genuinely struggling to read basic English. Modern education truly has failed the last few generations.
>>
>>
>>
>>11802166
The main problem is that all education is based on teaching what they can test for. The first couple years of education should teach the basic functions like reading, writing, and math, then the rest of mass education should be devoted to real world skills, housekeeping, house repair, car maintenance, accounting and paying bills, basic medical knowledge (like CPR, first aid). Shit like that. Then higher education should be for any specialised fields.
>>
>>
>>11802181
Civics! I knew I was forgetting one. History can be included in that to an extent, but honestly they "teach" history now, but it's literally all just remembering dates and names with a massive focus on WW2 and the American civil war, not actually learning history. They don't explain how historical events influences each other, or how they affect the modern day.
>>
CEO really shouldve listened and taken the easy way out, I cant imagine how much reputational damage this is causing them. And they keep going by trying to screw over Ben but they don't understand that this shit is fucking crack for the public. Ben is a math major and university graduate he is no retard. Or he is autistic or something. You can't be a normal human and do what he does. Your normal youtubers instantly backdown from a legal suit (so would 99.9% of the human race) but ben is literally fearless. The part of his brain that can contemplate death is turned off or something. If you watch his other videos the things he will do even if no one is watching is absolute insanity.
What does that have to do with anything you ask? I truly believe you cant have one without the other. A person who would speak rationally and could easily read the letter would have noped the FUCk out of this whole situation the moment a cop told him to fuck off. He must be in some way retarded to do what he does in the first place.
>>
>>11801976
>publicly states he stands by the statement on their website (which contains multiple verified lies)
>says they have a TRO (temporary restraining order) - Ben claims multiple lawyers have told him TROs are used mostly for violent gangsters and this is a huge abuse of that legal framework
>asked why he didn't just give Bryan $50k an NDA to solve the problem months ago - "the evidence that we have... and this is not the human side of this that I want to portray per se, because there is a human side to all of this, and we like, I'm gonna gonna... plead on behalf of our franchisees" - total deflection, changes topic to "think of the franchisees"
>"we feel we made the right attempts and that was not reciprocated"
>ben says something in chat and the guy reads out the restraining order - it says there was evidence shown to the court indicating that Ben, Bryan, and Crystal engaged in criminal conspiracy and racketeering (note: this would have been a one-sided thing, they only showed the court what they wanted the court to see, and it would be very easy to frame things that way through selective editing)
>he says Crystal may have already violated this court order by going on ACOB earlier
>"we are not trying to try this private matter on social media" (because they know they can only win by dragging it out in court)
>interviewer explains that the videos will definitely be reuploaded if the court forces them down - "that's true, but it stops mistruth and lies from being spread" (HE DOESN'T KNOW)
>Ben is being attacked on fucking RICO charges - all but confirming my suspicions that this qualifies as a RICO case, since every accusation is always a confession with people like this
>HE SAYS PEOPLE ARE BEING PAID TO HARASS BAM FRANCHISEES (the protestors are being paid no one could ever disagree with me for real!)
unbelievable how deep this guy's digging himself and his brother
>>

>Ben is a math major and university graduate he is no retard.
That's something I neglected to mention. The guy is clearly intelligent, the fact that he navigates the contract stuff shows that he isn't stupid, but I just can't handle the stilted reading. I think zoomerspeak is just fundamentally fucking up how younger people talk. The fact that they all end every sentence with "bro" is really grating. You suck total ass at (((noticing))). There's also Swedish last names that have "Berg" in them. There's tons of Jews with Polish and Russian last names etc. If you were really about this shit you'd do the barest amount of research first before calling someone a Jew. Especially when someone has one of those borderline Germanic last names that can easily be Jewish or White. Took me 30 seconds on Google to find he used to be a boy scout at a Catholic church.
But also purely from his physiognomy alone it should have been obvious. He's totally ripped with a classically Aryan face. Then you look up what he did before YouTube and he's an ex professional Slackliner and X Games champion. Extreme sports are the least Jewish thing ever. Go back to /pol/ you need to spend a few hundred more hours of racially profiling people before you're ready to try doing it publicly.
>>
>>
>>11802926
The only reason so many Jews have names like Schneider or Berg is because they knew it was likely for Jewish women to have kids by Gentile men more than jewish men were likely to have kids with gentile women. If I had to make a good faith guess about the motives, and not just call them all theifs and liars, they may have drastically over estimated the value of the product, and some fine print in the contract was going to fuck them over. There will always be SOME demand for those sets, but Starwars is effectively a dead brand at this point. Very few people are going to spend thousands of dollars for a hand full of lego bricks, just because of the starwars logo on the box. And I feel like lego as a whole is also on a decline from their covid era peak. And maybe the original store owner WAS doing some shady bullshit too. Most normal people don't just decide to up and leave the entire fucking country for no good reason. It's entirely possible that Corperate had to step in to protect their own assets in the store, and they used the oppertunity to seep the starwars collection under the rug since it was a bad deal. Still a scumbag thing, but atleast there is some logic behind the decisions

Was it the right thing to do to flee the country?
I get that this is an asymmetrical situation where his opponent can do all the fuck-up he want and he isn't allowed a single mistake, but isn't leaving the country while you have a warrant on your head precisely the one mistake he shouldn't make?
Why didn't he hire a lawyer to tell him what would be the right thing to do?

The police department put out a statement. Basically they are saying it was "stalking" and Ben was stalking the dude he was trying to serve. After the dude and the CEO were saying Ben was threatening to murder them. So the warrent was because he was a bodily threat to the CEO.
>>
>>11804027
Yes
>>11804034
I mean he kinda was stalking him? Being outside his house with a camera and binoculars would count as stalking in my opinion.
>>
>>
>>11804075
Excerpt Ben was trespassed from his property… he was waiting outside so he and that girl could run up and ambush him when Josh came outside. It’s all for the video, if he was really wanting to serve him, he would hire an actual process server and have them go to his house (he lied about just meeting that girl and her being a process server, she’s literally one of his friends and was later at the house when it got raided)

That is an attractive man she could have just like wanted to bang. If I was a process server I saw this kind of rampant corruption firsthand I would want to help too. I mean the cop even delivered it to him and the guy just said nah no thank you bye how do you just refuse serving papers?
>>
>>
>>11804084
>Excerpt Ben was trespassed from his property
He rspected the order once he was informed, so no, it's still not stalking.
>he was waiting outside so he and that girl could run up and ambush him when Josh came outside.
He hired her to serve the guy, thus doing exactly what the cops told him he should eb doing.
They didn't arrest him either for being where he was, so, no, not stalking.
>if he was really wanting to serve him, he would hire an actual process server
Which is exacxtly what he did. That's her job. He didn't knew her before having hired her to serve the guy.
You'd know if you had watched the video.
>he lied about just meeting that girl and her being a process server, she’s literally one of his friends
Source? She could have just stuck around after he hired her. Do you have proof they knew each other before?
So no, no stalking.

B&M USED to have a decent reputation and a wide corporate structure.

If you consign it to a place like that you’re not storing it, not having to list and monitor auctions, not wait for payment to come through, not boxing then ship it all either just for some turd to give you a shit review.
They saw an opportunity to steal some legos and took it. Simple as.

>>
>>
>>11804195
>I mean, yes, they are cops too, but we have seen they still arrest/sanctions cops, sometimes.
Highly unlikely. Amercan cops have something called qualified immunity, which basically means that cops are basically fully immune from any legal consequences, so long as what they are doing is in service of doing their job. And there is a nearly infinite amount of wiggle room if they manipulate the situation in the right way. If you get them 100% dead to rights caught red handed, you MIGHT be able to get it in front of a judge, and have their qualified immunity revoked. But that's a massive stretch. and I would assume most of the judges in that town are also in the mormon mafia, so good luck with that.
A better angle would be to pursue it as a civil rights case. I believe civil rights cases are federal, so it gets elevated out of the mormons' sphere of influence, and there are tons of civil rights advocacy groups you can tap for support. If they do that, they can effectively sue, not just the individual police officers involved, but the entire city police department.
>>
>>11804485
eBay is fucking terrible for a large collection. Again: storage, listing, monitoring auctions, packaging, shipping, and the time to do all that adds up and eats into any profit margin.

>>
>>11804123
He absolutely does, a warrant describing him as armed and dangerous is basically saying the cops can do a felony stop on him guns drawn, until now the cops have been doing things in bad faith, stopped him illegally, stopped him again to search for heroin that wasn't there, raided the house he was in to search stolen legos that weren't there, they even hurt him during that raid because he was "trying to run", etc, etc.
It is absolutely reasonable to assume at that point that if the cops do a felony stop on you they would "accidentaly discharge" or just shoot you because "you were trying to run" again.
>>
>>
>>
>>11803513
It was the owner of the store's house and he was there because it's the only way he can legally serve the man with a lawsuit. The law required him to due it in order to sue the guy that stole the legos.

>>

>>11804565
Nah, police do this type of shit all the time. It doesn't take 2 hands to subdue someone with an absolute twink faggot physique like him, even if he was resisting and fighting back. If you look at the hand placement and movements, it was not an attempt to restrain or cuff him. He grabbed his wrist, while keeping his arm perfectly straight, to maximize leverage. And he used the other hand to grab his shoulder, pinning it in place, while he twisted the arm in a direction it physically can not bend to without injury. Generally, I fully support police 9/10 times. But I also fully believe that the bad cops teach eachother these types of techniques, so they can just openly practice police brutality in a way that looks good for the body cams
>>
>>11804696
They can't though. The whole deal with these inbred psychos is that if you tithe to the Church, the Church's Old Boy's Network has your back, period, come what may. You can only ever lose the support of the Church if you stop paying your protection money or if you victimise another Mormon, and even then they deal with their own shit in-house with social punishments to keep drama out of the public eye.
People have no fucking idea about Mormons, they make Scientologists look like kindly old Anglicans running a church fete by comparison.
>>
>>11804711
Huh I think I just had a little stroke or something, completely forgot the second half of the first paragraph. Which was to say; if the Church stopped holding up their end of the deal with these guys, other rich Mormons would withhold their tithes or at the very least begin pushing for leadership changes within the Church hierarchy, and nothing in the 175 years of their complete dominance of Utah has given them cause to believe they can't stick to their guns and weather any bad publicity. They are fully capable, as we've seen, of fabricating absolute lies and falsehoods and then using their pet cops and judges to push an *appearance* of due process that validates those lies, and they know that most people won't be invested enough in some goober youtuber's stunt content to actually accept the reality that deranged cult literally controls an entire US state and wields the power of the state to silence and persecute their enemies. Much simpler to just take the default Amerilard approach of believing whatever garbage some uniformed meathead is spewing and accept the comfortable lie.
>>
>>11804711
>The whole deal with these inbred psychos is that if you tithe to the Church, the Church's Old Boy's Network has your back, period, come what may.
Do you have any more info about this? I hadn't heard that the church operates this way. I'm not too surprised, but I've never heard it. I figured they cared enough about PR that they wouldn't back blatant criminals in a case with this many eyes on it, even if their tribalistic instincts tell them they should.
>>
>>
From what little of what I've heard, Mormon support those in their community based on the "just trust me bro" mentality. It's apt considering how that is basically what their religion is based from.
Josh probably went crying like a little bitch to his mormon friends when this was going. I like to think that they know how much of a liability he is so they make sure that he never appears in person during confrontations.
>>
>>11804702
Supposedly, there was an ongoing vlog series on the issues with mormonism going all the way back to fucking 2005, that recently got into copyright troubles. dunno if these include sexual misconduct, but I wouldn't be surprised - the culty types are always like that
>>
I've only known one Mormon family and one of the older brothers molested his sisters and I'm not sure the church ever got the police involved. Based on anecdotal experience that seems a little sus. Racists might like them though because they heavily preach only having relations with your own race.
>>
>>11804717
Their entire religion is male authority based. The highest ranking leader is the oldest guy. If you're a top ranking guy you're the big dog. The 10% tithe is nothing if you use your connections to get better work and salary.

They are mormons. They are in no way closely related to ethnic Jews and their religion is even less Jewish than you usual Christianisme.
In regular Christianisme, Jesus is at least ethnically Jewish., in mormon religion, Jeus is a North-American Indian. It's even more detached from Judaism than normal Christians.
>>
>>
>>11804717
Dude, youtube is *awash* with deprogrammed ex-Mormons discussing the church and its iron grip on Utah. In fact, you can tell whether any given ex-Mormon is still living in the state or not based on whether they go to great lengths to frame their issues as an abberation, a singular failing of an otherwise well-meaning organisation they just couldn't personally cope with, or whether they just go full-bore
>yeah fuck those guys they're a mad cult who scratch each other's backs worse than any Masonic Lodge
because the ones who still live in the state know the church can still get at them easily. And it doesn't have to be anything as insane and sinister as this situation, it can just be low-level harassment or having a word in the right ear when you're up for a promotion or pay rise or making sure that your own local church groups all understand you're on the outs so they should socially isolate you etc.

Most circumcision on babies are done by WASP, in the USA, mostly due to the Kellogg guy who sold it as a method to discourage masturbation, so not even pushed by Jewish people.

That's actually mostly WASP again, who want to make illegal any liftestyle they don't see fitting. Most Jewish people don't try to forbid how you should have sex.

Again, nothign specific to jewish people. Funnily enough, WASP have elected the most rampant scheming and stealing person and, because he is not Jewish, they keep asking for more.
So, it's all about hating a group for the sake of hating that group and making them the sole responsible for behaviour that are in reality met everyone, but only ascribed to jewish people when they are the one who happens to commit them.

The operation should be performed by a surgeon without administering an anaesthetic, as the brief pain attending the operation will have a salutary effect upon the mind, especially if it be connected with the idea of punishment, as it may well be in some cases. Jewish people don't sacrifice people. That's like a fundamental part of their religion, that God told Abraham that actually, no don't kill your son, I don't want any human sacrifice ever.
I don't know why you would think anyone would believe they sacrifice human beings.
Also plenty or religions sacrifice animals, not just Judaism. Celtic religions probably practiced human sacrifice to before getting converted, so I do'nt know what kind of point you are trying to make, there. And didn't Jewish people ceased to do animal sacrifice since the destruction of their temple? I thought it was the only place were they were allowed to make animal sacrifice.

The only questionable thing there is the madlads not being able to serve the papers.
They went above and beyond for everything else, and simply googling it shows that there are multiple ways of serving someone even if they refuse to receive papers, all of which should work in Utah.

No, the point is, they already have evidence of the guy refusing to get served.
There are clear steps for the follow-up:
1) Hire an unaffiliated server (they did that) and have them attempt to serve papers on their own (they didn't do that);
At this point, the one being served papers is not ever required to formally accept them - simply a clear message along the lines of
>you are hereby served
and even dropping the papers down in front of them is enough.
2) If the one being served goes above and beyond to avoid any possible contact with the server, the next step is to inquire the court for the permission of alternative service, and by that point even taping the papers to the door of the house and then mailing a backup is enough.
3) Alternative service goes even further - it's possible to serve (after receiving an explicit permission from court) via an official publication in media, email, or even social media.
But the guy in question just dropped another video and it confirms that the papers WERE in fact served on March 13th, three days later of the recorded attempt, so it seems the madlads did continue to go above and beyond, just didn't put that even in their videos yet.
I hereby have no complaints.

I've previously said in this thread that I thought they had to be in debt and desperate for money. Now I've changed my mind. I don't think it was about money at all. I think it was an ego thing. They were just certain they could get away with it, and the thought of it made them feel powerful. They've probably done this before, on a smaller scale, and gotten away with it. According to Chrystal, they've seized at least three franchises besides hers on shaky grounds - how many of those weren't fairly compensated for their inventory?
Please let this escalate to a federal RICO case. That would be so funny.

What I don't get is why Ben went back to the dudes house to make a gofundme vid when he KNOWS the police have their hearthstone set there. This whole thing has gotten enough publicity where he could have collected a zillion gofundme donations but instead went to go aggro the mormon mafia again.

>>
This case is over. Ben incriminated himself and is on tape actually committing crimes multiple times throughout the first video. And everything in the first video was done with 0(ZERO) consultation with any lawyers(he admitted this in his interview with h3h3). Both sides are equally fucking stupid and deserve all the bad things that happen to them. I just feel bad for the gramps for losing his legos, but only a little bit since he was gonna sell them anyways. So a simple gofundme will make him whole.
>>
>>11806026
Why would he need to include a stock photo of it in the first place? If his whole point is he didn’t think he needed to spell things out, why even include it? >>
>>11806026
You are just flat out wrong. No one watching the video assumed that was a stock image. I notice you are only now saying this AFTER Ben starting saying that bullshit line to justify being misleading. >>
>>11806018
RICO is basically a legal modifier for large scale ongoing criminal conspiracies. The details of crime do not change, but the guilt and liability are all shared equally between everyone involved in the crime, no matter what level their involvement was. For example if there is a group of people who are constantly scamming and stealing and covering up each others crimes, and then one dude fucking murders someone, and then that group helps to cover up the murder, every single person involved in that group in any way will share the guilt of the dude who pulled the trigger. It converts it from one murder charge and 10+ accomplace charges, to 11 murder charges. It's a law that was invented to combat the mafia while they were at their most powerful level. And it worked so well that the mafia was almost entirely stomped out in less than 5 years

>No, officer. At this point I am using my right to remain silent. I will not answer any questions without a lawyer present.
If cops know they're bullshitting they're not going to waste their time with a K9, they're already in trouble for extending a traffic stop. So after the search they will find nothing and let you go. Make sure you get the name and badge number of every police that was there.
>Handcuffs you
Then you have to ask if you're under arrest. He will probably say some BS that you are being detained and the handcuffs are for officer safety. Sometimes they will make you sit in the back seat of the police car in the hopes that you break and admit to a crime.
>I'm going to conduct a field sobriety test
Field sobriety tests are voluntary in every state, I will not do a field sobriety test.
>>the police begin literally ripping
Illegal traffic extension, illegal detention, damage to property. This is where your lawyer helps you win your case. Most people believe that they can't win but every cop has body cams now. Turning it off is tampering with evidence or conspiracy to tamper with evidence. The cop is in under no duress or life threatening situation so there is no reason to claim "i was in the heat of the moment and forgot to turn on my cam". They can illegally mute the audio, which is also tempering with evidence, but they will claim it was part of strategy or privacy for the victim/officer. But you will most likely be on the dash cam, calm and collected, showing no signs of resistance/antagonizing. The police can arrest you and force a blood draw on you for cannabis. If you don't smoke your blood will come back negative. All of this will be used in court to give you a fat settlement.

>If cops know they're bullshitting they're not going to waste their time with a K9
lol, LMAO even. Let me explain it again more simply because you are a retard. K-9s can be used both as actual valid tools, or simply just validation props. There is literally no penalty for cops calling in a K-9, and telling their bro who's holding the leash to do the thing.
>Field sobriety tests are voluntary in every state, I will not do a field sobriety test.
smartest thing you have typed, but that does give the opportunity to fully arrest you, and bring you back to the station for blood tests, and you might be in there for 12+ hours. Additionally, they might decide to tow your car and charge you for it. No matter what you do, its a no win scenario for you
>Illegal traffic extension, illegal detention, damage to property. This is where your lawyer helps you win your case.
It all falls under Qualified Immunity. You have no case. Sure, you can pay for a lawyer if you really want to, but they will just take a couple thousand dollars from you, review the case for a couple hours, and tell you there is nothing you can do.
I can tell you're young and white, and that you actually believe the system will work out in your favor, because that's the lie you have been fed. but the reality is that the system is legitimately color blind, and is primarily designed to protect itself. The only thing you can gain by engaging with it casually is significant legal costs.
The best thing you can do as a private citizen, when interacting with the police, is to comply and reduce the interaction as much as possible. Because any ammount of police interaction will basically just be a bad time. shut the fuck up, comply, Do not try to be your own lawyer and argue with them. Do not tell them what they can or cant do. Do not even cry about your civil rights.because all that will achieve is reminding them where the line is, just STFU, and if you are in their crosshairs, you have already fucked up
>>
>>11806111
Let me explain it to you. If you get stopped for a traffic stop, a cop cannot legally hold you there for anything but giving you your ticket. He cannot say I'm calling a k9 so you need to stay here. That is illegal. He needs probably cause that you have actually have committed a crime or about to commit a crime, like say if they got an actual call that a drug dealer is you and you are carrying contraband. They cannot just say "your honor, i pulled him over and I thought he was drug dealer". They to your car? They put you in jail? You take them to court. They have to prove that what they did was the right call. A judge will just see that you were polite, were not trying to run away, were not trying to resist arrest. If you're going through this made up movie in your head that they are going to arrest you then what's your fucking problem? Let them arrest you. Take them to court. If the cop is a retard he won't show up and you win by default. If he's a bigger retard he'll try claim he was in the right while all the EVIDENCE shows he was in the wrong. Your traffic stop, your declaration of your rights, the violation of your rights, the illegal traffic stop extension, the blood tests that show no drugs in your body. The county and police will be forced to reimburse you. Not reading the rest, Josh.
>>
>>11806111
>Do no try to argue with them
Nobody is saying to argue with them. You retard. You literally just have to state that you know your rights. Yeah, he's going to ignore them anyway but any Jew lawyer will want a cut of the settlement.
>>
>>11806122
>He needs probably cause that you have actually have committed a crime
you seem a little slow, so I'll repeat myself. Again, all they need to do is say they "I thought a smelled (drug or alcohol) and therefore its a possible DWI situation. The probable cause is entirely subjective, and can neither be entirely proven or debunked, even in the court of law. It's basically a magic word that any police officer can use to ruin your night, without any repercussions
>>11806128
>settlement.
kek, you say that like you have any solid grounds to counter sue, For every case like his where he police are being currupt assholes, there are a hundred niggers and white trash committing these exact crimes.your case is not going to jump out by virtue of the facts. it's going to get get lost in the system of people who dont give a fuck about , and are just putting in their hours. The absolute best case scenario for you is that the DA just decides to drop the charges, but that does not give you the right to counter sue. If anything, trying to pull BS like that will just give the police further reasons to keep fucking with you
>>
>>11806090
Yes because everyone has the first page of results on google images for "xray stock photo shoulder" constantly open and would instantly recognize that photo, genius. It's all so obvious when you regurgitate Reckless Ben's posthoc explanation.
And say the eagle eyed viewer catches the "L" label in the corner notices that it is a stock image, what do you think their first assumption is? Wouldn't they think that Ben is being intentionally dishonest instead of posting his actual x-ray? He even later admits in his response that the officer didn't really pull him that hard, he explains that his shoulder was *already* dislocated prior to the swatting and that any movement would have exacerbated it. The police officer could not have known this. But why did he withhold this information until called out? Why not be open about in the first place about all this? He frames it as if the cop intentionally injured him and used an unnecessary amount of force when he now backtracks that this was not what happened. Being deceitful pointlessly undermines his case when he has so much other rock solid evidence of local police corruption.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>11806146
Most people would think an xray wouldn't make sense outside of just some stock photo for a quick visual bit. It's a dislocation. Why would you get an xray for a dislocation, when it would be popped back in minutes later anyways? Who the fuck is gonna wait for hours in an ER for something they can do themselves right away? Your retarded assumptions fall apart with the slightest bit of thought. You are just outing yourself as incapable of the slightest bit of reasoning.
>>
>>
>>11806183
Popping a dislocated shoulder back on your own can be dangerous and it is not outside the realm of possibility to assume Ben sought treatment for it at a hospital. We also do not know the full timelines of events, so a viewer might assume he got the x-ray after getting bailed out of jail. It is also reasonable to assume he got an x-ray as evidence for his allegations against the officer. It would be easy to be misled by a picture of an x-ray as thinking it is Ben's, especially when he does not clarify that it is a stock image. Why do you assume that everyone will instantly clock it as a stock image? Again, it looks like any other x-ray. I sure didn't notice the L in the corner labeling it as the wrong shoulder when I first watched the video.
Consider all this and the fact that he later admits that his shoulder was ALREADY dislocated before the swatting, yet he frames it as if the cop injured him. He had to be called out to get him to disclose this. He is not acting in good faith and is being deliberately vague and misleading because he's a retarded prank Youtuber doing this for clout.
>>

>Popping a dislocated shoulder back on your own can be dangerous and it is not outside the realm of possibility to assume Ben sought treatment for it at a hospital
He's a slack-liner and otherwise active guy. Dislocations happen a lot in sports injuries. Anyone with half a brain can look up how to properly pop it back in place. Regardless, a dislocation isn't gonna show up on an xray after being popped back in. He's not spending hours in jail without fixing it.
>especially when he does not clarify that it is a stock image
He eventually does when he realizes that not everyone is capable of abstract thought and will overthink a quick visual bit that was plainly obvious
>Consider all this and the fact that he later admits that his shoulder was ALREADY dislocated before the swatting, yet he frames it as if the cop injured him
It's a common sports injury. The more it happens, the looser your ligaments get, and the more likely it's gonna dislocate again with force. The cop still injured him. Dislocation isn't a one-and-done type deal. I suspect you weren't active as a kid.

No one could make any of these assumptions unless they watched the response video where he admits he is an active slackliner. What if he purposely did not pop his shoulder back in in jail and waited until after getting bail to get an xray/evidence of assault? Because that's what I assumed when I first watched it.

It was not plainly obvious. Again, you are not addressing the "plainly obvious" fact that the x-ray image he used looks like any other x-ray and that he was straight up lying about the incident.
>It's a common sports injury. The more it happens, the looser your ligaments get, and the more likely it's gonna dislocate again with force. The cop still injured him. Dislocation isn't a one-and-done type deal. I suspect you weren't active as a kid.
He did not say it was a sports injury in the initial video. He made no mention that he has a history of shoulder dislocations either until the response video. The cop could not have known this and did not intentionally injure him. Ben even now admits that the cop did not purposely try to injure him. He deliberately omitted many of the facts about how his dislocation really happened until the response video because he sought to mislead the viewer. I suspect you are retarded.

Genuine back and forth of him asking a question, the company refusing to do the right thing, and him having proof of them refusing to do the right thing because the family has photos, video evidence, documents through the entire ordeal, and then the company digging themselves deeper in the grave and doubling down over and over.

No one has to spoon feed you retard. As stated multiple times all the provided evidence is in the faggot's video where he made a bunch of mormons assmad.
In fact the most incriminating portion was a video clip with audio where the original franchisee was stating there was a consignment active with stock in-store needing to be inventoried and a company retard stating that they will be taking on all those obligations.

Sorry for late reply. You're right, they are. Your quote of me is my impression of someone who supports white supremacy but the authoritarianism is obvious in what organisations actually say, and also I'm not just on about neo-nazi or Nick Fuentes white supremacy I mean the broader right. It's all people openly dehumanising other groups claiming various corruption about them (I'm on 4chan right now so this is the most ironic post ever) and would no doubt be willing to give protection and coverups for white and Christian people. Anyway, this is not very relevant, I was replying to one random white supremacist.

I don't even know where to start with this one. It is so plainly clear that you haven't a fucking clue what you're talking about. No fucking shit a cop dislocating his shoulder isn't a sports injury.
>He made no mention that he has a history of shoulder dislocations either until the response video.
It doesn't matter since we can see how violently the cop twisted his arm for literally no reason

The cop violently assaulted him and bold-faced lied about the reasoning (we have the camera footage, dumbass). Why are you sucking their dicks so hard?

Damn, /Pol/ did a great job summarizing events, you better repost this in future threads
2023: Bryan Mansell and his aging father hand over their decades-in-the-making $200,000 LEGO Star Wars collection to the Keizer/Salem, Oregon branch of Bricks & Minifigs (BAM) on a formal consignment contract.
Late 2024: The original Oregon franchise owner is forced out, and control of the store is transferred to new operators, Brandon Best and Joshua Johnson.
Late 2024: The new operators refuse to honor the Mansells' consignment agreement, keep the inventory, and refuse to return the LEGO or pay the family.
Late 2024: Bricks & Minifigs corporate intervenes and denies liability, stating that the consignment deal broke franchise rules and was an unauthorized agreement between Mansell and the previous owner.
Early 2025: Frustrated by corporate stonewalling, Mansell partners with YouTuber "Reckless Ben" (Benjamin Paul Schneider), who legally purchases the rights to the LEGO collection to pursue justice.
Early 2025: Reckless Ben begins a chaotic multi-part investigative series, deploying reality-bending stunts to force the new BAM owners to face them in court.
Mid-2025: Ben sets up mock rival businesses and orchestrates sting operations to catch BAM staff on camera making concessionary statements about the stolen collection.
Late 2025: Ben takes the local Oregon BAM franchise to small claims court over the $200,000 valuation and successfully wins a default judgment.
Late 2025: Before Ben can collect the debt, the franchise owners permanently shutter the Keizer/Salem, Oregon storefront and withdraw.
Early 2026: Ben and his crew track the franchise owners and corporate assets down to Utah, relocating their operations to serve the owners with lawsuits at their corporate headquarters.
Early 2026: The BAM owners repeatedly contact local authorities in American Fork, Utah, claiming they are being harassed and targeted by the film crew.

Ben's trying to scare the Mormons with Hell but Mormons don't believe in Hell. The Outer Darkness is only for demons and people that Brigham Young personally disliked. The worst afterlife for normal sinners (pimps, drug dealers, thieves, murderers, etc.) is still paradise. Joseph Smith said if you could see it in a vision you'd kill yourself right now to get there faster.
>>
>>
https://youtu.be/Hs3bElrHKUE
The Civil Rights Lawyer interviewed Ben.
>>11807059
That's the part where he says the Outer Darkness is Hell. But it's not. Mormons believe that normal unrepentant sinners and heathens still go to heaven, but it's a less good heaven than where Mormons in good standing with the Church go.

>Fuck em. You make the legal process impossible, you make the illegal process a requirement.
Honestly this is a hugely important point in all this. The law is literally there to specifically stop (physical) Might Makes Right and us from endlessly debasing ourselves into killing each other in the middle of the street cause "he looked at us funny." The second the law stops functioning to do this on its head is when we let out pandora's box. It's the same shit with the whole squatters rights debacle that happened a little bit ago. Wouldn't be surprised if shit like this is what eventually leads us into civil war.
>>
>>11808521
>>11799071
The legal process isn't over yet, you retards. It's barely beginning.
Violence would only make it trivial for the corrupt cops to justify siding with the corpo as it would legitimately become a "victim."
>>
>>11808521
>The legal process isn't over yet, you retards.
And what exactly do you think happens to the public perception of the law working when multiple cops are caught on camera flagrantly finding out they were wrong then wrongfully arresting a guy and searching for excuses to convict on flimsy pretenses afterwards? Do you think that IMPROVES the perception that law works there is no need for violence, or do you think that WORSENS the public perception?
You have to breath through a straw while eating cereal, don't you?
>>
>>11808543
What will be the perception when the guy whose civil rights were violated gets a big fat pay day by working in the system?
Because that's around the corner.
The way the system works is that if your rights get violated, you sue and get a payout.
>>
>>
>>11808578
Hint at "if you take a peek counts as served so I cant take it back"
Johnson gets the hint, "doesnt matter its fake"
Im sure they going by "if we say its fake on court, nothing will stick, we can drag it out"
>>
>>
>>
>>11808549
>What will be the perception when the guy whose civil rights were violated gets a big fat pay day by working in the system?
And do you think this will
1. Fix the perception damage that already happened from all of the findings in this video
or
2. Maybe slightly repair it but nowhere near to where it was before this information was made publicaly?
In private business, it's known that it takes 5 good reviews to make up the damage from 1 bad review. I hope you can take this allegory and realize why you are painfully out of touch.
>>
>>11808593
And then the cops proceeded to make illegal arrests to blockade those legal papers they just confirmed were real FROM being served by someone they knew was claiming to be a process server (and could have easily checked the credentials of).
>>
>>11808592
>But that all falls apart because there's another bodycam video showing a cop calling to confirm if the papers are real and found out they are.
The fact they havent sued Ben over the videos, because they put a TRO over the videos. Ben has to take them down "willingly". If he doesnt, they have to sue via criminal courts so Youtube takes them down (Youtube nor Patreon are obligated)
Then, legally Ben can easily flip that out in Court, Johnson is a pro lawyer of scamming and avoiding consequences (dragging it via civil)
But Court doesnt care about that, specially if the attorneys can drag it onto federal because this business goes across state lines (Store being in one state, owners being in another, Bricks and Minifigs being on another state)
If it reaches federal, doesnt matter how much you slice your assets, you fucked
I'm not defending anyone btw. But in Federal courts they fucked, and we know how Asmon and moistcritical will just dump money onto that, so they can make more money down along the road from videos (They make about 1 to 7 million per month or some shit. Asmon showed his channel revenue)
Literal takes Asmon 2 months to pay for 3 years of content
>>
>>
>>11806111
>There is literally no penalty for cops calling in a K-9, and telling their bro who's holding the leash to do the thing.
There actually is. It's extending the car stop. They're only allowed to hold you for as long as necessary for the initial stop. Even with the added "probable cause" of """"smelling weed,"""" and even then a ton of states are starting to figure out that this is not enough evidence for probable cause anymore and throwing that shit out.

The only people in this story that aren't pieces of shit are the family that lost their Lego collection. An ideal outcome would be the cops, the CEO and Ben all going to jail while the family gets compensated.
>>
>>11808808
I mean, if someone draged out Josh and Ammon out and beat them to death in the streets ... plenty of people would get the cathartic joy and their expertise of being professional shitbags goes with them.
However there is some truth to 'Rule of Law' being preferred if only to avoid wholesale gangwar type resolutions.

Again, while these lawyers constantly chime in on what Ben should have done, keep in note Ben had shown the legal system is so broken none of that worked. Only attentionfagging works. If anything legal scholars will be studying this for decades.
In other news, apparently the CEO has sworn off the current store owners, so there is already cracks in their mormon front.

Well, if Ben and Bryan could afford good lawyers that would probably be the smarter decision. Perhaps they should use some of that crowdfunded money to find some legal representation.

That’s not that crazy. I assume ALL Mormons go to bring ‘em young university.
What’s more telling is Ammon and Josh doing missionary work together back in 2004.

Consignment is only really useful in something like single items, not a life savings worth, and you hear about people getting screwed with consignment all the time when businesses go under.
I remember the story of a local gun shop that just abruptly closed and the only people who didn't get completely fucked was if the firearms weren't sold yet because the bank seized all the inventory, and even then it took weeks for the owners to get back their stuff because it had to be cleared with the regulatory commissions and working with a different, more reputable firearm dealer.
