Is Amazon ever going to restock the Scale Shark booster

This thing's gonna get scalped.
>>
>>11794814
Oh great, I know what my niece and nephew are getting me for my birthday... again... star wars beys.
>>
>>11794822
hey man at least you get an elevate out of it
>>
>>11794842
That's true, and I DO love me some Rhino remolds.
>>
I will never not love this guy and I refuse to disassemble it for custom combos. This guy stays stock like I'm an anime character and he is my signature bey.
>>
>>11794766
They have been pretty regularly, but they sell out immediately. Some people in my area have been buying them by the dozen every time they restock, so blame people like that for the dogshit availability.
>>
>>11795497
>tfw I skipped on the waffle king set
I feel bad about this and sharkscale set most of all.
>>
>hey guys Beylocker has all the parts you'll need, use my promo code
>they're always sold out
>>
>>11796163
The hasbro waffle set is gonna be identical to the takara one. So just wait a few months.
>>
>>11796451
what the hell even happened to that it was available in various places around europe like months ago do we actually know when it's "supposed" to come to the US?

I had mixed feelings about buying a set from AliExpress for 40EUR but now I'm happy about pulling the trigger back then.
>>
So I went to 2 tournaments for the first time this weekend, it was pretty fun. I need to get some good beyblades though i won once at the first one and twice at the 2nd one. There was a surprising amount of women at the 2nd one
>>
>>11794766
I was at a con and a guy was selling those
>>
>>11794814
>TWO whole ass "new" beys
>they're rhino horn retrains

I'd have taken ANYTHING else.
>>
>>11798777
Even two more wizard arrows?
>>
>>11798804
I'd take two more Helm Knights. And I already HAVE two.
>>
Why the hell hasn't the bx-10 been restocked on Amazon? Takara is still producing them, and they were selling.
Hasbro better fucking restock them.
>>
>>11799074
There's apparently a stock shortage even in Japan right now
>>
>>11798777
Wtf I thought the nusnotrooper was a sphinx

Why is hasbro so blatantly shitty at their job?
>>
>>11798777
At least one of them has Elevate.
>>
>>11794748
is that longneck chip metal? Are most CX sets switching to metal chips now?
>>
>>11799608
No, it's plastic.
>>
>>11799608
>Why the hell hasn't the bx-10 been restocked on Amazon? Takara is still producing them, and they were selling.
Only Valkyrie and Emperor are metal, no others have been announced that I'm aware of.
>>
>>11799257
Nah, if you look at the spaces between the bumps you can see the similarities. I personally don't have anything against Rhino Horn, I own one AND Shinobi Knife, BUT:

>already small and weak bey shape
>uses SAME shape for TWO whole beys that supposedly come in the same pack

That's just taking the piss at this point. I wonder if some exec saw two kids arguing about who gets to keep what in the two-packs and decided it would be best to just make them similar.

>>11799602
Elevate deez nuts I mean yeah, it's a good part isn't it? I'm a collector, not really a compfriend.
>>
Has anyone found a good build for Dran Strike yet?
>>
>>11799869
>That's just taking the piss at this point.
I agree, Hasbro lives to embarass themselves these days.
>>
People were glazing hasbro when they were doing the bare minimum the first 1-1.5 years of them doing Beyblade X when it was obvious from the start they would fumble and return to their usual shitty ways

9-60 Jolt feels great since it's such a heavy bey it doesn't extreme dash too too fast even with jolt
>>
>>11801069
Distribution being fucked is the norm for Hasbro, but Takara has only tightened their grip of Hasbro's balls in the past 6 months to try to regain the brand's goodwill after they realized hasbro wasn't trying.
>>
>>11801069
People had hope because Hasbro weren't going to bullshit around and use their own molds and lop off 95% of the gimmicks like they did with Burst. And it's true, for X they didn't do that, but as you've said they instead fucked up distributing the actual Beyblades. Has anybody liked Hasbro for anything recently? Outside here I know one other person that'll go on whole tirades against the company.
>>
>>11801069
I don't remember anybody glazing hasbro in the early X days, but rather glazing TT for tardwrangling them into submission. but you can clearly tell they aren't going down without a fight considering their fucked up distribution, the way they keep replacing every ratchet with the X5 ones, etc.
>>11801534
as a former MTGfag I could go on for days myself
>>
>>11801534
MTG players, DnD players, you name it if Hasbro has their hands in it the fanbase hates them.
>>
>>11801069
>>11801555
This. Distribution aside, we've yet to see Hasbro do anything with X as extreme as their Burst or late-MFB releases.
>>
>>11801555
Hasbro fucked Burst so hard that I still see people telling you to buy Takara instead of Hasbro because they are nerfing X beys in some mysterious way behind the scenes.

>"the metal is more brittle!"
Same factory, same metal.

>"the molds are worse!"
Same molds and at times Hasbro gets the mold fixes first like Benis Wing.

>"worse quality!
Same quality control. If they got Transformers QC these would be safety hazards.

It's wild how hard they lost the trust of the customers.

>Take bahamut blitz
>Re-arrange the over and assist blades to fill out the gaps in the blitz blade while also having each of their imbalances in different spots (roughly a triangle)
>Use 5-60 with the nubs aligned to the points on the assist blade
>Put on hexa
It's a decent enough defense type due to the weight, too. Also feels more like Burst bahamut's gimmick of having the layer fill itself out. It's basically a circle now.
>>
>>11802795
At this point, Takara Tomy should just reclassify Hexa as a defense bit.
>>
>>11803384
Seriously. We also need more defensive bits but they keep kneecaping the ones we'd get. Merge would have been great if it wasn't "Lol tall" and had those nubs on the side.

Today I will remind them that Rhino is the most reused retool, and also they just copy pasted that nusnowtrooper from the stormtrooper they made already.

Maximum lazy shitbirds over at Hasbro.
>>
>>11805291
I would really love to know if rhino horn is just the first CAD file they have on hand and the guy just goes "yeah fuck it whatever" or it's more scientific than that, like, "this shape uses the least metal and it looks interesting enough, (it doesn't) let's keep using it to cut costs".
What IS the lightest X attack ring anyway? There must be an explanation.

Also that Obi-wan looks really cool, is it original or is it another retrain?
>>
>>11806395
>Also that Obi-wan looks really cool, is it original or is it another retrain?

It's a Knight Lance retool.
>>
>>11806645
Not having the "Lance" heads protruding upwards makes it look more sleek (but probably lighter). Either way I like it. It's a shame it's an Obi-wan, I'd rather have a property Bit Beast design on my beys.
>>
>>11805291
That Chewie bey slaps harder than it needed to; my guess is Unicorn retool. The sculpted Greivous arms are a delightful touch as well. Most of the time they fucking waste the chance to sculpt anything cool on these IP-slop beys.
>>
>>11806765
Apparently it's just an unbalanced Shelter Drake retool, which seemingly gives it great smash attack potential.
>>
>>11807234
Ah yeah, you're right. The plastic insert gives it away. If I see this thing in the wild I might have to pick it up, because I love me some asymmetrical blades.
>>
Good afternoon friends. Earlier today I happened across some Beyblades on a casual stroll through the dollar store of all places, so I grabbed them on a whim. I don't know how to go about checking for any tournaments or anything, but I'm probably too old to show up at one and not seem out of place anyhow. I did look online and saw there was a huge resurgence happening right now though, and there are a ton of different pieces and specs and combos to do, and I think I might throw together 1-2 meta blades for fun but I don't know what most of the numbers mean. The two I got were Lance Knight 4-80HN and Wand Wizard 5-70DB. Are either of these any good as a starting point?
>>
>>11808309
>I don't know what most of the numbers mean
in the middle? that's for the ratchet. it signifies how many bumps they have and their height, for example 4-80 has 4 bumps and is 80 mm tall.
>Are either of these any good as a starting point?
pretty sure WizRod is still meta to this day, yeah. Lance Knight not so much. If you go to walmart/target they'll probably have Flame Cerberus (or whatever Hasbro renamed it to) and that one was pretty good iirc.

>>11801125
>>11805291
Does anyone else feel like the existence of these fortnite-tier beys cheapen the "real" stuff?

>>11802458
Also, why can't Hasbro actually create interesting looking retools? Like color schemes that are actually cool or themes that actually fit and serve a niche
>>
>>11808325
Personally I don't think it cheapens the "real" ones but then again I've never seen any of them for sale, probably because I'm not American. Those Disney beyblades are probably never going to be sold here, but even if they were they can be easily ignored if you're not interested. In fact most of them aren't going to be sold here. Finding new ones for sale is like drawing blood from a stone. Shops only had the four base models for months on end, and then they all started getting drip-fed new sets. I went to a great big supermarket in one of the busiest malls in the country, and one year later the exact same Lance Knight beys were still there where I left them. No new releases whatsoever.
And then suddenly everyone gets new, different shipments so I have to run from store to store to see what's up.
A store near me had Fox Brush, Fort Hornet, Wiggle Kraken and that Stag bey during Christmas time, but come January they were just gone. Not sold, just gone. Then they put up old twin-packs for months and now they put the CX beys back up. It's mental.

On the other hand I can't complain. At least they're still in shelves. Bakugan was shot in the head.

that gear ball is among some of the worst tips to be invented and Hasbeen slaps it on everything
>>
>>11809687
Hasbro has been putting 3-85 and trash Bits on just about every new release or retool they've put out in the past year. They're clearly trying to save money by reusing the same things over and over again.
>>
>>11809466
>>9-65GB
First of all that's a pretty insane range, secondly the image is only 363KB
>>
>>11808325
Yes, it feels like a cop out. IDK how much money or outsiders the collab beys bring in but it feels like all the money on retools and parts nobody wants could be used on better/new stuff.

I managed to find a Flame Cerberus in the wild today. The wall ball bit looks great! I also hear that this assist blade is a must-have?? I was considering just gifting this to a friend who likes puppers, but how good are these parts overall? If they're highly competitive I might just keep it for myself.
>>
>>11811042
The assist blade is the only good part.
>>
>>11811040
Do you mean the grip? Be more specific.
>>
>>11811058
Well it's not the top, and it's not the cord, so of the three pieces I would assume they were talking about the grip.
