Say, up in Harlem at a table for two
There were three of us: me, your big head, and you
From your neck down, I'll say you sure are well-bred
From there up, there's just too much head

>ohhh ya head's too big
>don't wantcha cuz ya head's too big
>can't scale because ya head's too big
>I really hate ya cuz ya head's too big

Now April, she likes you, she thinks you're in order
Got what it takes to be a reporter
She had some work done, what the heck?
Man oh man now she's got too much neck

>oh ya neck's too long
>mad at ya cuz ya neck's too long
>cheaped out and so ya neck's too long
>I hate ya cuz ya neck's too long

Oh they were just tryin' to make you taller
But your shoulders is lower than your collar.
To me, you look like a giraffe
Ultimate? It's the ultimate gaffe.

Ooophhhh, if that's the deal and I can find them, then I'll do that. Right now I've just got the bad guys on pre order, just like I did with turtles of greyskull. I just like the bad guys and there mutants more than the turtles, been that way since I was a kid.
>>

Destro Krang is the best, the other dudes can't even compare.

>>11799131
It doesn't help that the turtles are boring as fuck in this shitty crossover.

I think Leo looks alright, but by and large the whole thing seems a bit half baked.
>>
>>11799114
son I buy neca and super7, I just like doing blues song parodies.

actually does someone have like control art for the old cartoon? I'd like to compare it to the neca toon line, and show how their basic fuckup was making the turtles too big. that meant they were stuck either making more and more expensive figures, or.. fudging the scale. Super7 did the former, and it cost them.
>>
>>11799182
Shut the fuck up, nobody wants your trash ass trolling.
>>
>>11799182
>meant they were stuck either making more and more expensive figures
That isn't how that works.

>fudging the scale
Fucktard, the whole line has to fudge scale because it changed all the time in the episodes. Kys git.

>Super7 did the former, and it cost them.
Not why they did what they did. You are an idiot.
>>
>>11799186
How do you know I'm not right? Super7 seemed to care a lot about scale, they would say stuff like 'this guy needs to be really big' or 'this guy was a '5th turtle' to me, so I made him the same size as them' etc.
they even beefed up the party wagon after its initial showing, so it'd be properly roomy for guests. Man, it's weird knowing I could have waited and bought that now, instead of the coronawagon, for the same price now that it's so discounted. but... aside from the interior, and the engine detailing and shit, I just don't like it as much. Too round, guns aren't as cool.

>>
>>11798614
Guess we are getting foot soldiers soon too, they’re in the promo.
>>
>>11799375
yeah maybe i'm wrong. I could have sworn I compared them before and-
well part of it is that Shredder and Foot soldier aren't as bulky as they are in that animation model, but meh. the show varied a lot.
I'm still tempted to get the neca Bugman from time to time, even if just to pop his head onto a slightly larger buck. they kinda gave him a big head and smaller body compared to the cartoon, but roughly the correct size. so I could put him on the super7 shelf if I had an appropriate body.. but.. that's real hard. everyone just advises 'buy some cheap thrift store figures or something to customize, you'll find one in the right size eventually' but I am pooor.
>>
>>11799694
I do like how they tried to give them a really solidly cool vehicle this time, and an armored bank truck is obviously turtle-appropriate, but somehow it just never seemed that fun.
I often wonder about what I'd do if I was like, tasked with making something roughly like the original movie, but expanded into a show that needs to have vehicles and shit.. you'd wanna be a little more grounded, but at the same time.. definitely load that sucker up with miniguns. 90s New York was ROUGH.

The android body itself is pretty cool, but has Krang himself ever looked so "wad of used gum"-shaped before? I get it's so he fits in the chest cavity, but even then, couldn't they have made it just a smidge taller so he doesn't look so smushed?
>>
>>11800280
not without adding one more piece to the mold. anything concave gets really complicated to mold.
>>
>>11800280
oh wait, for some reason I thought you meant make it taller on the inside, but keep the 'door' size
you didn't actually say that. Yeah I guess they could have made the 'microwave' bigger on the whole. but it would have swallowed up part of that magnificent collar.

Will Mattel give the turtles their own specific lines or will they get dumped into the DC ones due to the Paramount/WB merger likely dropping them into the DCU?
>>
>>11800497
>or will they get dumped into the DC ones due to the Paramount/WB merger likely dropping them into the DCU?
Things that will never happen.
>>
>>11800497
Mattel will use the Core system they created for the MOTU movie kids line for their main TMNT figs and vehicles. I'd also wager they would using Origins style since they already done togs, but more TMNT style with out the fancy armor gear. It's be neat if they did OC designs for Chronicles, like how Joy Toy does their TMNT line. I'm not interested in more 90s movie turltes or comics stuff when there's already plenty of those. Heck, I'd take Joy Toy designs in 6.5" if they can keep it at $25.
>>
>>11801185
Actually everything that's come out so far is that they can't do an Origins line because the costs wouldn't work out.
>>
>>11801187
>they can't do an Origins line
No, not like a remaster, just using origins parts and peices. Reamking all those vintage playmates figs with modern articulation would never work at retail since it would all be unique molds. im surprised they are doind 200x cartoon remake at all the way the have it now. Mostly unique parts. Think how WWE super stars are, just origins parts with a new head and some cheap soft goods. Mattel already has turtles origins bodies and headsculpts. It's be cheap to just reuse and modify those. I would expect a large roster in the origins style. Probably just the original vintage release of the first 10 figs from playmates. Maybe android Krang using the big origins body again. And whatever else mattel can kibash using existing origins parts.
>>
>>11801200
An Origins -styled release of the entire Shredder's Revenge cast, playable and bosses, would be one hell of a show of customer good will on Mattel's part

How do people decide in which order to put the turtles? I usually do leo, raph, don and mikey.
>>
>>11803044
Uh...80's cartoon introduction from the theme is how I do mine. Leo, Don, Raph and Mikey.
>>
>>11803044
'comin out of their shells' really hammered "Don, Mike, Raph, and Leo" into my head as the orders.
So basically opposite of yours. Something euphonious about 1, 1, 1, and 2 syllables.
as michelangelo was increasingly depicted as a retard (and the extraneous 'a' removed from his name), he kinda became 'mikey' and now that doesn't work as well. who ever calls him mike?
>>
>>11803044
There is one other way that is roughly logical: spectrum
mike-raph-don-leo or leo-don-raph-mike both have their adjacent mask colors touching.

It won't be when Mattel takes over fully. It will be when it's time for them to renew the license. Joytoy didn't renew the license, but they never revealed if it was because Paramount Skydance jacked up the licensing fee by 2000% like was reported with that Star Trek licensee.

The NECA last Ronin figures have lots of articulation. Calling them statues shows what a moron you are, and nothing else.

But the last TMNT game they made sucked.
I did like the whole "all four turtles fighting at once with the player swapping between them while enemies and bosses are designed to be challenging to all four at once" feature and wish more TMNT games would use it.
