This is the truth. I have a home office with my collection in it. It's nicely organized and not a mexx. I eventually will put a floating shelf in the living room but there's a built-in cabinet and I have a FEW (less than 8) upopened LEGO boxes and model kits "displayed" there (only because I've run out of room to store them and there's no real reason to do something stupid like put them in a box just to stack boxes in the corner or something). A section of the top of the built-in cabinet has a bunch of variant Spider-Man figures that will be what goes on the floating shelf, but even when that shelf goes up, I'll probably still use that built-in for something, it's got about three feet above it that's wasted real-estate. I do have art that can there, but it looks weird above that built in cabinet. If I could rip it out, I would.
