How are they any different to previous ones like glossy Shenron or majin vegeta with pearlescent hair. Sure they could have done repaint ginyu force members, but the general rule is that super saiyans are the biggest sellers and that is all 3 of these. Event exclusives should only be for completionist or can attend the events, they should be something people need in their collection, like that goku and kid gohan.

Gotenks wasn't even a particularly popular figure to begin with. Its like how they re-released Demon King Piccolo a year or two back. The original one was in stock for ages online, so he was a weird choice, kind of like this Gotenks.

And again, SS mini Daima Goku pretty much just came out. And this is kind of an even lamer version of him. I can't believe they're doing EEs of Daima figures already...

I guess Gogeta is sort of a decent choice....still looks inferior to the original one. And really they never really do just straight-up three (super) Saiyans. There have always been a mix of figures as EEs. Gogeta is the only one I can say "Ok, I can sort of see that making sense" but not the other two.

Finally having a good figure of the best Gohan after years of wanting one feels really good. Now, the hairsculpt could be a bit more accurate, but apart from that, I really enjoy the finished product. I don't think there's much more I want from Z, apart from maybe a 3x Kaioken Goku since the WowStudios one has weird proportions and the hairsculpt is trash. I still got it, but I don't really enjoy it.

It's meant to look dorky, it's basically a sign of a character getting domesticated by a woman in the series. Yamcha has to cut his hair for Bulma when he moves in with her in Dragon Ball, because she says long hair isn't in fashion in the city. When he's revived after the Frieza saga he has it again since he's implied to be living with her again. Then when he's dumped he stops wearing it (and starts using a slicked up haircut that looks like a bootleg Vegeta cut).
Gohan gets it when his mom forces him to get a haircut.
Trunks gets it from his mom, but his particular way of parting it in the middle comes later and I take it as him being more of a mama's boy by then. When he hangs out with Vegeta he chooses to keep it long.

He's got a weird seam line on the chest, is a bit shorter than he should be, and could use some shock oil to avoid breaks from stiff joints, but he's okay otherwise and the only Imperfect Cell we're likely to get. I remember seeing him discounted to around $50 a while back for a long time, but I think he was just rereleased recently and will be for a third time soon so you've got time to wait it out.

I'm not sure if the semi regular release for them here is actually confidence or a lack of confidence. You can ship out a batch of the figures to the retailers and that's that. But if they had actually put up a made to order run for them on US Pbandai the numbers for Shin, Panzy and Glorio would've been absolutely abysmal and they probably knew.

Help me ID a figure, /DBG/? When I was a kid I had a Piccolo figure of some kind and even though I'm not familiar with any of the media I've always been attached to the character because of it, and I've been thinking about finding one just for the memories. Here's what I know:

It's possible that the cape was detachable, I'm 95% sure I got it in the box. I distinctly remember his bald dome with molded antennae, so I doubt it had the hat on. It didn't have action features, so it's not this one, but this figure is the closest. I also remember the ball itself being more of a golden orange color than that pale yellow from your picture.

I'm having issues with Broly. It's basically been stuck in customs since May 3rd.
The shitty part is that on May 25th one day before I would have been allowed to cancel for a refund the status suddenly updated to say "Cleared Customs." The problem is that only AliExpress shows this update. No other tracking site, and not a single website that provides tracking information, has confirmed any kind of customs clearance. Every other tracking service still shows the exact same status: "Import Customs Clearance Started" on May 3rd.

Anyone here with the vitoforge goku black. Did you find or hear about the red dye coming off the accessories and staining the plastic? I just tried to put them on this goku and ended up with pink dye everywhere.

I bought the HAZ Future Gohan as my first 3p figure. I've given up on the possibility of Tamashii making a figure of him.

Initially they released, Japanese Bandai Super Battle Collection figures in American style card backs instead of their original JP boxes. I need more info on the figure you had. If you can remember all the points of articulation, did it have a neck joint? Elbows? Knees? Were the antennae sculpted onto the head or did they stick out of the head (more realistic). Based on what you're saying right now I'd say you found a repackaged Bandai SBC Irwin Piccolo. Since the Bandai SBC figures are the only figures, I can think of that had rotatable ankles at that time.

Yeah. I feel the same. The only big bonus with the df head is the balance. It stays up by itself and the figure can stand unaided. I still prefer the kong hair, but it weighs a tonne and is impossible to pose without a flight stand.

Anyone know of a good Vegeta 3P head that is SSB...but in translucent plastic? I'm trying to find one that matches the ReCustom UE and SS3 heads, but am unsure if there is anything available. I love the Jade Rabbit SSB so far, but my autism now demands I find a translucent blue hair piece for my manlet collection.

Those are AB Groupe Super Guerrier Articule (French for Super Articulated Warriors) mini figures. They were part of a French company AB Groupe that had the license in the mid to late 90s in Europe to produce their own figures. A lot of their stuff focused on the Boo arc and later movies. Irwin imported them like the Japanese Bandai figures and other products in the 90s before they made their own stuff.
