I'm sick and tired of parasites like Penguinz0 coasting off of the success of other youtubers while contributing absolutely nothing of value to the conversation. All day long he's just scooping up delicious views from the controversy of others for himself.

At least for things like this, he works as a pretty good signal boost for normies and exposes the case to more eyes since he has a massive YouTube viewer share. Commentary channels are basically the new cable news for the chronically online, with a presenter of your choice summing up the day/week’s online nonsense.

they had a signed contract, it wasn't a verbal agreement. BAM corporate claims they aren't responsible for the contract since the previous franchise owner signed it. in which case they should have handed over the lego.
>>
>>11804150
What they’re saying is that low level support employee saying over the phone they were aware of the consignment does not mean they actually were. They also don’t have the lego. It’s becoming increasingly clear that the original owner stole the lego. She was having it stored offsite and did not give BAM corporate access to this site after they repossessed the store. I do think corporate should have just paid them off at this point, but I think the actual thief was that original owner.

The family trying to get their legos back seem to be in good graces with the old owner, i don't think this is true. They also willingly turned over all video footage they had related. I've seen this theory pushed a lot the past few days. Some obvious bricks and minifig manipulation going on.

I read they locked the original franchise owner out of the store. Its Bricks and Minifigs corporate. I wouldn’t shop in Utah or Bricks and Minifigs. The police went after the YouTuber helping the victims. In other threads I said they need to contact their state representatives and the FBI due to the police issues, and because its a felony dollar amount. Its an insane story.

>they force the lego owner off the store property and trespass him when he goes to retrieve stolen property
>store owner outright tells him that trying to sue him will be more expensive than the legos are worth and he should just give up
>lego owner reaches out to Ben and asks him to help reclaim the stolen property on his behalf
>Ben asks nicely and goes through every legal means of reclaiming the legos, short of physically taking them back
>police are called and he is trespassed
>they take it to corporate and corporate tells them to fuck off, it's the franchisee's problem, and they're gonna call the cops
>Ben goes back and does a bunch of antics to get them to sue him
>nothing criminal, just civil suit bait that they'd win anyways because they went super anal on getting their ducks in a row legally
>eventually they piss the owner off enough to actually admit he stole all the legos and to try suing him
>cops are called again, Ben is trespassed from the guy's property
>Ben goes through with suing him, but is required by law to serve the guy with the lawsuit
>Ben hires a chick who's job is to do just that
>cops are called on them three times as they wait for the guy to come outside to serve him
>some even check to verify the suit is real, it is, then take the papers to serve the guy themselves
>they come back with the papers and just say the guy refused to be served
>4th time cops are called, they pull everybody out of the car and search it for heroin
>obviously find none, but this wastes 3 hours of everybody's time
>they eventually arrest Ben anyways, but can't charge him so have to let him go
>swat team shows up at Ben's house and arrests everybody in the house
>interrogate everybody, then freak out when Ben mentions running a goFundMe to help the lego owner out
>try to deny him bail, but a judge realizes how retarded the situation and gives it to him anyways
>currently they're trying to get Ben on felony charges
>more details when video 3 drops
>>
>>
>>11804657
>try to deny him bail, but a judge realizes how retarded the situation and gives it to him anyways
>currently they're trying to get Ben on felony charges
So, the first time they arrested him, he was denied bail
Then a judge said that was retarded, overturned the bail denial, and he was allowed out on bail
THEEEEEEEN there was an arrest warrant sent out on him, trying to claim he was a 'physical threat' to the CEOs, and once more, there's no bail if they take him in
It really reminds me of that one story of the dude getting imprisoned in russia, where they held him for a while, then let him out, and within like, 30 minutes of letting him out, the arrested him again on more made up charges to prolong his stay - it's a psychological thing, where they give you a little bit of hope, and then try to crush it.
>>

Except Ben was already caught in a lie regarding this. He didn’t win those court cases. He filed for motion to default, but BAM got those cases dismissed. A lot of what Ben has done was purely fabricated.

Usually Ben's types fuck with regular people, but he must have had a wire crossed during programming, and he turned out with a good heart.

i'm from another part of globe and i dont understand what happened still (i know i know - BM stole $200k and it's a weird situation involving corrupt cops) but every time i see it's a completely WEIRD crazy shit that sounds and looks AI-generated.
Like this video for example: https://youtu.be/cxZPfj8AlmY
I know it sounds simple "BaM stole 200k and cops helping them to cover it" but every video makes it look like Santa Barbara TV-shiw story of 200 seasons....
what the fuck is actually happening...Aaaah im going insane trying to understand this.

Ben and company have been hit with RICO lawsuit.
Bricks n Minifigs are using his youtube videos to show he faked documentation and stalked company workers.
This lawyer says that Ben's antics on video is pretty damning and while they may have been done as a performance for Youtube, they may end up fucking him over in the long run.
He believes Bricks n Minifigs has a pretty strong case of proving extortion.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imD2U3kCZTA
>>
>>11805828
there are some lawyer break downs involving actual court documents and criminal charges. Basically both sides are taking each other to court for real, and this time it's too big to just sweep under the rug and ignore. Probably going to be another 3-6 months before those trials wrap up, and then the results can be appealed to a higher court
>>
>>
>>11805838
no way this would be considered a small pawn shop scam, there's so many policemen involved, cross-state warrant and police in multiple states involved. I mean okay it would be small fish compared to I dunno some massive drug bust but still
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>11805829
>Bricks n Minifigs are using his youtube videos to show he faked documentation and stalked company workers
His documentation was legit, so they don't have a case there. You underestimate how much Ben covered his ass by doing it all autistically by the book.
>stalked company workers
They have nothing here. They showed up demanding their stolen property back and to serve lawsuit papers. Both cannot be considered stalking.
>pretty strong case of proving extortion
Fucking how? It's not illegal to demand someone give back stolen property and threaten to sue them if they don't.
>>
>>
>>11805838

>>11805901

>Both cannot be considered stalking.
he showed up to multiple employee homes and staked them out. he should have hired a 3rd party to serve them.
>It's not illegal to demand someone give back stolen property
ben recorded himself saying 'we can do this the easy way or the hard way'. the company also says they have recording of the gormons(?) telling them to pay the money or the 'kid will release damaging videos'.
that's their extortion claim.
>>
>>
>>11805928
>he admitted to faking the document for the lady to sign
It wasn't fake, she just signed it without reading what it was. It's the same law that lets corporations give you a hundred pages of legalese that practically nobody still reads, but signs anyways. Regardless, he was just doing it as a gag, rather than actually expecting it to hold up in court.
>he showed up to multiple employee homes and staked them out
He was legally mandated to do this in order to go through with a lawsuit. First he had to have a conversation to try and settle it outside of court. That ended up with the first trespass, but allowed him to file for papers to serve. Second, he was legally required to serve the papers, which he paid a process server to do for him. This resulted in him getting the police called several times, resulting in them trying to claim he had heroin, spending hours raiding the car, and eventually arresting Ben anyways.
>he should have hired a 3rd party to serve them
He literally hired a process server, you stupid fucking retard.
>ben recorded himself saying 'we can do this the easy way or the hard way'
If this was illegal, practically every cop would be in prison.
>the company also says they have recording of the gormons(?) telling them to pay the money or the 'kid will release damaging videos'.

>>
>>
>>11805945
>he was just doing it as a gag
which does not look good
lawyer says it hurts his credibility doing these stunts
>which he paid a process server to do for him
he should have never done it himself after the warnings
>If this was illegal
which is why its a CIVIL rico lawsuit
>"Return my stolen property or I will post evidence of you stealing my property"
that's the whole point. as of now nothing has been proven in the courts.
the previous store owner says she sold some of the legos and already paid that to the family. she says there was about $100,000 worth of star wars lego left in the store.
the company claims there was less than $100,000.
ben's whole youtube video series is accusing brick n minifigs of stealing an old man's $200,000 collection.
the $ amount is not correct and who stole what is right now he said vs she said.
telling the company to pay for legos which are in dispute is the extortion.

He incorrectly filed some of them and he has to level them at Best who owned the franchise
>Defending himself from BAM and owners civil cases and police criminal cases
He will undoubtedly have all the YouTube money necessary to play with the big boys
>Criminal and civil counter suits
The recordings he has of the owners and CEO lying about possession and surrender of the assets make it a slam dunk honestly. That’s small potatoes though. The bigger win is going to be the cases against them for their reaction to his antics. If he can confirm they gave the police false information regarding drug possession to get them arrested they’ve committed a misdemeanor. The police report, body cam footage, and 911 call should adequately prove this easily. His recorded call where he went back and forth admitting possession of the Legos then not and then saying YOU STOLE THE LEGOS HOW ABOUT THAT? And then filing a false police report regarding said Legos resulting in a search warrant leaves them hilariously exposed not just for the false report but swatting.

>>
>>11805957
>Hurts his credibility
Not looking good and being wrong are not the same thing anon
>He should have never done it himself after the warnings
He was parked on public property breaking no laws and waiting for the man to leave his home so he could be served by the process server. The police interfering in that is literally a felony in Utah anon.
>CIVIL RICO!
Until this gets enough attention and then it turns into a Federal CRIMINAL investigation into the police department and the guy who kept calling them. FYI lying to the police and saying someone has drugs in order to get them arrested is also illegal in Utah and a Class B misdemeanor. Filing a false police report resulting in armed officers raiding a house (you know swatting?) under false pretenses is also a third degree felony in Utah. The recording of him acknowledging the Legos were in his stores custody, then denying it, then saying “NO YOU STOLE THE LEGOS HOW ABOUT THAT!” makes his intent pretty clear.
>Who stole is in dispute
When they bought the store they would have had to look into all liabilities the store had. If a client walks in with a contract saying their consignment contract was expiring and he wanted his shit back and the new owner refuses to turn it over then he’s absolutely liable. You don’t just get to pick whether you take on assets or liabilities when you purchase a business it’s both. He can potentially sue the old owner for not disclosing a liability but then it becomes a whole different lawsuit centered around his due diligence as buyer and he’s unlikely to recover anything from the junkie retard he bought it from. BAM have on recorded lines acknowledged they had the Legos and agreed to turn them over and failed to do so. They are quite simply fucked at this point. I dont really give a shit about the actual value because this has already cost them WAY more than it ever would have been worth. Their lies, unprofessionalism, and at this point criminal actions fucked them.

Damn, Lego is full of autistic retards that care about Lego huh? Why are you on this board? Isn't Elon more interested in video games which is full of autistic retards compared to Lego building? Which requires actual skills unlike playing video games?

Thanks Asmon.
This is a lego board. If you don’t like it you can leave.
After skimming all the info, the question is why did Bricks and Minifigs screw up this bad, why were Bricks and Minifigs this aggressive, and where did the sets end up? I believe they lied about their knowledge of the sets and intentions. They’re evasive and started using the police because in court they will lose or go to jail maybe.

>Why did Bricks and Minifigs screw up this big?
The previous store owner pocketed the cash and they didn’t do proper inventory/go over consignment contracts when they took ownership. They didn’t sell the collection as a whole just pieced it out and it is pretty likely that there was still remaining inventory in the store that was his but they didn’t know what. At that point it would have behooved them to just cut the guy a check and apologize then seek civil judgement from the previous owner. They could punch down on them for failing to disclose or properly inventory goods or potentially embezzling. Maybe they take a 80k loss which realistically isn’t that bad. It’s maybe two full time employees salaries. All said and done. Instead they decided to lawyer bully the owner and shoot their mouths off so much and act so unprofessionally that they’re just doomed at this point.
>Why were they so aggressive?
It depends on who you are talking about. Best behaves this way because he feels like it isn’t his fault someone is going after his store for lost property (his store lost it) and doesn’t want to deal with suing the previous owner for something he knows he won’t get back from a broke Portland junkie. Jones is behaving this way because he’s a specialist in liability mitigation. His whole purpose in the business is making them hard to go after. Some random autist showing up to fuck with him just isn’t the type of thing he was ready for because his whole career has been structuring businesses against relatively small claims like this being worth going after them for. This allows his businesses to conduct themselves in objectively shit manner and bully people into fucking off. He is a professional weasel and Reckless Ben’s antics have directly bruised his ego to the point that no amount of cry bullying can save him and are in fact hurting his case to the point he should expect criminal charges at some point.

Cont’d
Their CEO acts like a total sperg because…well…look at him. McNeff was formerly President of Legally Mine, LLC an asset protection firm. Not like security asset protection. Same shit as Jones was. He helped dentists shield themselves from liability against lawsuits. It was mentioned in the Reckless Ben video that the company somehow had a Spanish component that required lawsuits be routed through there (I’m guessing an umbrella shell corp with limited ownership). And the funny part is he talked so much shit and got the company into such deep shit. All they had to say was:
>We are very sorry for any undue burden the former owner may have caused Mr Mansell in this trying time but the contract was between himself and the previous owner off the books of the store itself and thus all liability would be held by them as we have no record of the inventory or consignment contract. We will fully cooperate with any questions regarding a potential civil case against the former owner to the best of our ability.
And just pawn it off on the junkies. But they decided to be dicks about it instead.

There should be a simple/dumbed down full story for foreign users after the dust will settle.
Im from another country and i still can't fully understand what exactly is happening (i know - they stole 200$ but it's not that simple).
It feels like Epsein Lego Files - sort of story.
Also why LEGO itself not responding?

Why would they give out $200 lego collection like that?
I assume they are so rich - they didn't worry about money. (after all you have to be rich to own $200k lego collection to begin with so you are not a "worrying about money" type of person).
I would ask cash first if i would sell my most expensive lego set. And it's a $150 lego set lmao...
>>
>>
>>11806869
It’s very common. The collection was purchased bit by bit over the course of decades. Then he contracted this store to sell it for him for a percentage. Store doesn’t have to pay anything for inventory and assumes pretty much no risk unless a fire burns it all up or someone steals it. Old man doesn’t have to track down hundreds of individual buyers. Win/win. Then they stole it kek.
>>
>>11806869
>>11806869
I could understand the couple being legally strong armed out by corporate by the threat of lawsuits, but they really should have called their bluff and told corporate to send the cops if they want, they are currently the rightful owners. I'm sure franchises have contracts designed to fuck over the owner, but from a liability perspective the owner should have asked for this to be properly filed legally rather than be rushed out of the front door. And if you have your life savings on the line what do you have to lose?
>after all you have to be rich to own $200k lego collection to begin with
some people like putting together legos as therapy or as a means of bonding with their children. Doesn't mean this guy is rich.
>>
>>11806762
Person’s at the top knew about the store’s situation (which why they closed it), and, on video, the whole store is filled with some of the victim’s Star Wars sets. They know what they did. They committed a corporate crime. I don’t have any idea about specifics of the original franchisee and their debt. Thats a separate problem actually. They can argue about intent all they want, the behavior is illegal and with that much SW product there is questionable intent all around.
I don’t like seeing my favorite kids toy being abused by greedy idiots in 2026. Especially with the SW license connected which is also my favorite movie.
>>
>>11806907
I just start thinking about that guy, and how much fun it probably was to collect all the sets at stores, starting around the time of the prequels in 99. Even if you tracked down sets online, it would take so much time. The only reason to do it would be because you loved Star Wars.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>11806912
>The only reason to do it would be because you loved Star Wars.
Uh, you mean the old guy who's sets got stolen? He did it for his grandkid's college fund. He didn't necessarily love Star wars, it was a commodity he could sell off eventually for profit. The sets were never enjoyed or played with, just sat there as assets.
>>
>>
>>11806945
Those are actually pretty solid reasons. If you’re looking for a prospect that can pass an advanced polygraph for a clearance…yeah the Mormon kid isn’t going to move the needle on drugs or pornography.
>>
>>
>>
>>11806869
He didn't buy them all outright its a collection accumulated over decades and this entire thing started because they are worrying about money(the owner of the collection is a sick old man and its his son trying to sell the collection to pay for his fathers treatments).
The process they went through of having the store sell the collection for them and they pocket a % of the profit is a very normal way for collectors to sell their collections. Much easier than trying to find what would likely be 100s of buyers to sell the collection piece by piece. Bricks and Minifigs WERE a very reputable company before all of this so there was basically no risk involved and it be passive income for the family.
Id recommend actually watching the videos because its an extremely compelling story.

Following this drama, there's something I don't understand. When Ben shows clips of him visiting the store the first time, his glasses have a timestamp of 2019. Then he mentions he went to corporate before that, but that has a timestamp of 2023. I doubt it took him that many years to go through this drama but is there an explanation why his glasses have these random timestamps?? It seems really fucking weird.

Here's a fun fact: cease and desist letters don't actually do SHIT. No part of them are legally enforceable or actionable. It's just the legal version of a threat. it just means "Oh you better stop that or else maybe we might sue you for something"If their own lawyers looked over it and said BAM can shove it up their ass, then they can shove it up their god damn ass. Massive Patreon W for standing by their users, and not letting outside companies push them around. And honestly I kinda do hope BAM takes them to court over that. Just more lawyers they have to pay for
>>
>>
it's really odd how bam and the relevant police department behave like they're from some cavern village disconnected from the world. Like we can see everything, information online travels very quickly, no one's going to side with them when they're lying, it's like covering their eyes and thinking that they're hiding really well

It's not like that. This isn't BAM telling Patreon "Take down these mean words else we'll sue!" like a typical angry lawyer letter. Here BAM managed to find a judge to grant a restraining order that includes a gag order demanding all of the footage be taken down. The gavel has already hit. What BAM has done is sent a letter demanding that Patreon comply with a court order, to which they have refused to do so. I'm pretty sure telling the judiciary to stuff it in response to a court order isn't exactly kosher, even if the order itself is bullshit.
>>
>>
>>
>>11807252
And what's supposed to happen there, (unless you're in crooked ass mormon country apparently) Is that you petition the court that the party is being an asshole and be granted a motion asking for alternate means of service. Could be dumb shit like putting a classified ad in, or by certified mail, or just taping it on the door. At that point, its up to them to show up to court or lose by default.
>>
>>
>>11807249
>a restraining order that includes a gag order demanding all of the footage be taken down
Cute, but entirely unenforceable due to the 1st Amendment of the Constitution. There isn't a single law on the books that would give them the power to do jack shit about it if Ben just left them up.
>>
>>11806856
>he's been in contact with BNM to get everyone's side
BAM has already put their side out. They claim that the original store owner had a fuck ton of debt, and embezeled/stole almost all of the legos herself before leaving. Which COULD be true. But she's also provided timestamped evidence that corroborates her side, that the sets were still in the store at the time she was kicked out. It's not impossible that she somehow found a way to fake the metadata, and has been manipulating everyone. But she is the only person bringing evidence to the table. BAM basically just has "trust me bro"

Asmon watched the police response video from Ben and Patreon react. so good

He also said in the first react that he would contacted RecklessBen through insta so either way they fucked. Because now money isnt a problem considering how many people would dump money onto that like Asmon
>>11807307
That's hard considering probably Ben alongside the owner might have the full security camera footage of that night at their disposal.
Unless they are a bunch of dipshits which honestly its too far to take (which some people will) it doesnt look good either for Bricks and Minifigs + the police, they have lied and harassed, act all schizo.
There arent that many points that says BAM is saying the truth, even some lawyers blogs talked about how Ben was stupid for now lawyering up when cops caught them. But they throwed trash at the Police and BAM responses.

>Cute, but entirely unenforceable due to the 1st Amendment of the Constitution.
Not how this works. Your rights are guaranteed unless they're taken away via due process, like a court order. This is the same legal machinery that enforces things like a no-contact order between a drunken dad and a abused wife and child prior to a custody hearing.
There was hearing, there was an injunction, the Judge examined the pleadings and found that this speech both threatened immediate irreparable harm and did not qualify as protected speech. Thus a TRO was issued.
One thing however is that it is issued against Ben, not Patreon. I am assuming that Ben is in contempt for not taking the videos down himself, so they went crying to Patreon to try to enforce the court order by going around him. We'll see how this plays out.
>>
>>11807461
Patreon has a constantly on call legal team that knows the laws better than you. The only reason they're keeping it up is because the legal team reviewed it and deemed it safe. Patreon is much bigger than BAM too.

But that excuse wouldn't work surely, since the company's own franchise contracts empower franchisees to take on consignment deals, meaning those would be considered valid liabilities of that franchise and so that liability would transfer to corporate when they took over the store.

The restraining order was the result of an ex parte order that was very much devoid of due process. Those orders are supposed to be reserved for the most extreme of circumstances, not small time civil disputes about defamation. The video take down order has no chance of suviving actual dispute as it is very much infringing on the 1st amendment right to free press. Though the youtuber will probably still get hit with a physical restraining order for all the antics he pulled.

Do not get me wrong, that's incedent exposure and he could been arrested for that, the problem is that they arent arresting him FOR THAT
On top of that, they checked the documents are legit, they bullshited it.
Caught on camera "We do things different here than LA" or something along the lines.
The detectives refusing to investigate the claims in the station.
Muting the bodycam (yes, pressing a physical button) that could be considered a breach of "Utah Code Section 77-7a-104"
It doesnt help them either way, they arent conducting the investigations properly. BAM Executive claiming they harassing him, okay thats fine. They checked the court documents were legit, fine. Then arrest the guy, that doesnt match up.
Also not following the investigation if they are presented with evidence that apparentely says what they said as officers is wrong.

We all thought this was just a rabbit hole. Instead. it's an entire subterranean cave system with police corruption. Were the cops retarded enough to let it accidentally leak or was there someone on the inside who still had some morality and leaked it out on purpose?

I called it in the other thread. Ben did so much illegal shit and said so much incriminating shit in the first video that he is FUCKED. Legal eagle agreed with me in his video today. Its gonna be mutal assured destruction with Ben and BAM. the old dude and bryan will probably come out of this okay being made whole with the gofundme. also the previous franchise owners are completely fine since they live in europe now.

>They also don’t have the lego. It’s becoming increasingly clear that the original owner stole the lego. She was having it stored offsite

They're fucking floundering like morons - once those videos are on the net, they're not going to be able to get them down, and saying
>Hey, these videos were uploaded on the internet, but we took them down!
They're only going to draw attention to it, and people are going to search, you're absolutely right.
