Another night with the freaks in Detective Comics Comics General. It's starting to feel like in Knightfall when Batman is dealing with one crazy after another every night for like a month straight and eventually stops even giving a shit, he doesn't even remember what it was like before they escaped from the asylum, there's just this endless stream of pointless insanity. Gives me a good bit of confidence that Mattel at least won't be as ass as they were previously, as a kid I HATED their toys, and these are the total opposite. I didn't find the new azrael or a single mattel figure in the two stores I checked. Hell, there was barely any motu merch on the shelves. I did find gangbuster and Shazam again but since I wasn't looking for a gangbuster to open I just chose to leave empty handed and save my nickels. The mattel stuff you guys are posting does look solid, and I'm curious how they might pair with motu movie core figure line.

So 25% is high. Some people might start collecting Core and graduate to Collectors, the same way they move to imports, but that's also no where near as high as 25% of the adult DC collectors. Most people who own imports own some other DC, very few are import only unless they really REALLY think Hush is the be-all and end-all of DC (read that as "Batman" since they do actually exist) comics.
