Back in my day Superman figures were made out of wood because we needed the metal to make tanks and ammos to kill Nazis. If you wanted your figure to have hands you had to cut down a tree and carve them yourself.
Plastic? Plastic is for pussies.

superman was created by a jew as a stand in for jews. he mimics the native population to walk amongst them and is also superior to all of them. you're such a brain washed retard you're even doing the "le kill the nazi" thing which is precisely why most of this crap was created-to get you to say that. you're a turbo goy

jews love to leech off capitalism and commit usury. there is a big distinction there. they don't give a fuck about any other people outside of furthering their own people. also you might want to read literally any book about soviet history so you don't embarrass yourself in future postings.

I don't know about these again. I've always wanted to collect DC, but i still just wont. Marvel's toys always had this distinct quality that expresses heart and improvement. While DC's just exist to make money, and to compete/segregate itself against other toys to avoid world sharing. I'm not even a fan of either, I just want good toys for the sake of good toys

It's bad enough you troll with your shitty shit post generals
It's bad enough you're an attention whore who announces you are leaving and then never leaves
It's bad enough you're a psychotic nutjob with no life that you spend your days on a fifth rate mongoloid basket-weaving pinterest picture puzzle board trying to fill your lonely nights and days with self-esteem derived from the few idiots who will randomly reply to one of your kabillion tolling shitposts
But what takes the cake in being bad enough for even 4chinz is that your permavirgin attention ho self is now trying to pass itself off as some kind of comic book expert while you still get the details wrong - even as you try to 'school' others you deem "wrong."

Man that would be nice, how or why the decision was made to use plastic for the cape is a question only McFarlane Toys can answer. It's not just knightfall that suffers from plastic cape syndrome, Hourman and the Eradicator both have them and it honestly just limits how you can play with them. If they were removable itd be a non issue obviously but once again it's a choice that McFarlane Toys made and I don't understand why beyond them thinking, "well, it looks cool in the box and it's not like these suckers actually open their figures anyway so why bother with fabric capes or a way to remove the plastic one".

Another night with the freaks in Detective Comics Comics General. It's starting to feel like in Knightfall when Batman is dealing with one crazy after another every night for like a month straight and eventually stops even giving a shit, he doesn't even remember what it was like before they escaped from the asylum, there's just this endless stream of pointless insanity. That's a comic book reference, not sure if anyone here reads those.
Thinking about taking Hellboy out of his box tonight, but it might be a treat for the weekend.

It's funny because I'm actually looking for the azrael figure or hopefully larfleeze >>11809070
I'm not buying them to collect, I'm just curious about them. Because outside of the DC Gen I have seen a few articles about them so I guess mattel has mobilized it's grass roots or team to get the word out. For a kids line this is really odd, but maybe it's because Google knows I collect multiverse so the AI is feeding me hype pieces.

Got my Flash, no pics atm, still messing with it but its pretty solid feeling, sculpt is good, better proportioned than McF, honestly feels on par with a lot of Legends in terms of quality, articulation is good for the price point and demographic, I'm not sure what the hate is towards it as a kids line it's better than 95% of cheaper action figures released in about the last 12 years, blowing Hasbro's stuff to high hell (for years Hasbro didnt even put knee joints on their basic figures) and is better than the 6" stuff spinmaster put out at the end since it scales with more industry standard stuff. Gives me a good bit of confidence that Mattel at least won't be as ass as they were previously, as a kid I HATED their toys, and these are the total opposite. Also between this and MOTU core gives me a bit more confidence that they'll do TMNT good but that's not really for this thread

The three big Targets I hit on Monday had sold out everything 6" but Flash. Even the stupid Bat Joker was sold out. They had the tall hard plastic 12 inch, but just of Batman and Superman at one store and that was it.
And they are still going to sell Spin Master stuff until it sells out or they are told to clearance it, especially the Superman movie stuff since apparently, according to the employees I was chatting up, it still actually sells.

Looks nice, how does the bike roll? I mean, is it a smooth roll or do the wheels even move at all?
I didn't find the new azrael or a single mattel figure in the two stores I checked. Hell, there was barely any motu merch on the shelves. I did find gangbuster and Shazam again but since I wasn't looking for a gangbuster to open I just chose to leave empty handed and save my nickels. The mattel stuff you guys are posting does look solid, and I'm curious how they might pair with motu movie core figure line.

Does he not realize the articulation is far worse than even Marvel Legends? What percentage of collectors do you think just want statues with the possibility of articulation but barely use any of the articulation and so core is actually enough for them? The way the youtubers are fapping over this line it seems almost like that is the actual situation for most collectors.

And that is why I need a Mattel line to become what Marvel Legends used to be. All they need is a few more POA and a few more dollars and they've hit $20 for a figure that is worth about $20. Instead of $28 for a figure not worth $28.
>>11809913
Then why do they not just buy the kids lines?

I can't imagine that they're probably losing too much, since these don't really seem that far off from the WWE stuff, but I would not be surprised if in like a year or two they start cost reducing some stuff out. That's how the original like Hero Mashers were when Hasbro did those, they actually had like decent articulation in a time where every toy around that price sucked ass, started out with the shoulders being able to go out and having an ankle hinges and rockers and by the end of the line arms could only go forward and back and they had nothing in the feet. Maybe it's more of a Hasbro thing though, they suck, they love to make their cheaper products crappier so you're stuck buying their "collector" stuff

Oh yeah I forgot, those were supposed to come out, I guess it would depend on if they made it to production or not. If they did I mean there's a good chance they'll probably end up at Ollie's or Ross, if not they'll end up overseas like a lot of product that only just makes it that far tends to. Would be a bummer if they trashed whatever they produced

I hate to break it to you but actual, committed collectors for DC don't come to 4chan and those that do, are probably less than 10 actual real people.
Actual adult collectors for DC, people committed to the characters and not purely Todd's current cultists who won't collect DC again before they die clutching their lipsticked greasy boxed figures that they expect will make them rich in their old age - yes, a few of them will at least buy some of the Core line, but they won't buy the core line INSTEAD of the collectors line.
So 25% is high. Some people might start collecting Core and graduate to Collectors, the same way they move to imports, but that's also no where near as high as 25% of the adult DC collectors. Most people who own imports own some other DC, very few are import only unless they really REALLY think Hush is the be-all and end-all of DC (read that as "Batman" since they do actually exist) comics.
