What even is there to do here? I got here and I have to stay for two weeks. Everyone here is weirdly unwilling to start small talk. Foods been nice but I think I ate everything that's worth it. Nobody here looks happy.
They all look like they're in purgatory with no hopes or dreams. It's strange. Can someone tell me about a place to go to that's worth it? Their public transportation is the most boring experience I ever had, literally not a single local, excluding a tourist offering to speak out to me.
Almost everyone here resembles a phone zombie with a few exceptions. I don't even believe they have conversations outside. There are literal trucks where they have hundreds of people in that unironically feel like slave labor.
Dating apps are literally all just hookups. Nobody here wants to take anything seriously. People don't even smile. I saw a woman crying, and nobody went out to help them. This place sucks, holy shit, can't they at least pretend to care? Will the bubble of this country being some utopia ever pop?
Also not sure if it's even allowed to complain about the country while being here. This place feels dehumanizing with little to no architecture.

>I saw a woman crying, and nobody went out to help them.
You didn't go to help her either? She would have spoke English. What a fucking turd you are
>no no it's not up to me
Shut up turd

I offered her tissues. I'm from Bulgaria. My home country is much better. If you're American you're fourth world.

What on earth are mumbling about, turd?

Its literally a city sized hotel/convention hall. Singaporeans make their money by renting themselelves out as a place to do business. Thats it. There is nothing else there. You're basically in an oversized business hotel where the natives are the employees, and unless you're there to make money there is no point.

See, this is what you get when you create a perfectionist society & spoil your citizens too much. This is a true example of a nasty, capitalist dictatorship where individuality doesn't exist. Someone eating in the subway? Complain. Elevator not working? Complain. Toilet dirty? Complain. It's a city where people will never be satisfied or even know the true meaning of happiness. As you mentioned, you already ate alot of cuisines offered there, and yeah, that's pretty much it.
>Can someone tell me about a place to go to that's worth it?
Yeah, it's outside this country

Its pretty grim. All the white dudes are leaving due to dwindling nightlife, so the local women are catastrophically deprived of the bwc which made living there worth it.
There just isn't enough forearm sized white horse cock to go around anymore. So they dont get to ride the cock carousel before marrying a rich singaporean incel via arranged marriage.

It truly is funny how Singaporeans are NPCs in their own country. They larp around in their offices pretending like they're doing something important. But all they do is shuffle around money between countries that matter, then they go out and support tourism for people who matter.

Go buy a ticket to Kolkata, rent a motorbike and enjoy all the individuality you want for a couple weeks. All the dirty toilets and broken elevators and shouting public transport riders and messy eaters and strewn litter your heart can desire. Then return to Singapore with newfound appreciation for a country where everything is orderly and disciplined and done the right way.
>>2866683
Yeah, it's so much better that none of you Bulgars want to stay there, kek. Talk about failed hopes and dreams.

People go there to make money or meet people who make money.

There's literally no culture left on the island and the people are brainwashed NPCs conditioned to work 90 hours a week in those big corporate towers with the hopes of becoming execs one day.

There's not much else to it. It's a good place to visit for 2-3 days and then being on your way to more interesting asian destinations but don't go for a full week thinking you'll have stuff to do besides blowing unreasonable amounts of money on hotels, westernized entertainment and mid-tier food.

The one plus however is the dating scene is full of locals and expats alike looking to fuck and the sex starvation is real in Singapore, i even ran into married asian couples on Tinder who would casually invite me over for a drink, etc.

I've been around Bulgaria and I'm here right now. This is a third world shithole that belongs to Africa not Europe.

how does this work? how can they be full of people wanting to fuck and not fukcing?

It's a boring place, usually people pass through to go home. I'm from Europe and they do a cheap flight to Athens. From there I could connect home.
Everything is expensive. Malaysia has all the food and does it better for fraction of the price. If you want to party and drink Thailand is a short flight away, so is Bali and Vietnam. It's safe and clean but pretty much all of SEA is safe. So ill give it being a clean place.

Singapore its not a real country, its a big bank with an Army

If you're looking for something fun, unironically go to Malaysia. It might seem drab there since it's "a Muslim-majority country", and it probably is quite drab now since it's currently Ramadan, but the rest of the year people actually party, eat good food, etc. It's not as perfectly rich or safe as Singapore, but not outrageously poor or dangerous. Many Singaporeans line up on the bridge to get to Johor Bahru just to eat Malaysian food.

Something else that ought to be said about Malaysia is that it's a multi-ethnic country. Malaysian = the whole country, Malay = just the Malay ethnic group. There are also a ton of Chinese, a minority of Indians, a handful of indigenous mountain people, and a few expats. The Western side of the Malay peninsula (where Kuala Lumpur and most of the cities and attractions are) is quite chill regarding religion, but the Eastern side is more ethnically Malay and Sharia-ish (though in an orderly and stately rather than radical or hazardous way). The Borneo part, remarkably, is heavily Chinese.

Honestly, even China itself is more exciting at this point, as long as you control yourself, don't act like an absolute idiot, and don't treat the place like Thailand. More things to see and do. Main thing that makes it better is that they're bigger than one small city on an island. There is nightlife etc., this is China we're describing, not some Gulf state. And since you're Bulgarian and not a burger like me, you get to travel there visa-free.

No. Anything but Kolkata.

Singapore is one of the best country to raise a family and make money, thats the issue, everything is around money and that make a depressing society/people unless you are the one making ton of money
if you're just traveling, it's good to see one for a few days but that's it. good base to travel from in asia though
people are empty though, especially rich expats. some of the most annoying kids you will ever meet.
spent 11 years there, now back in europe, wish i could go back every single day

lol. i live in malaysia. it's fucking boring. even in KL everything is heavily restricted or censored. music, theatre, comedy etc. i go to singapore for those things.
>Many Singaporeans line up on the bridge to get to Johor Bahru just to eat Malaysian food.
no, they come over here to buy stuff cheaper than they can in singapore. it got so bad with fuel in particular that malaysia banned singapore registered vehicles from buying fuel. they are now doing the same for thai registered vehicles in the north of the country.
>the Eastern side is more ethnically Malay and Sharia-ish (though in an orderly and stately rather than radical or hazardous way).
the islamic nutjob political party, PAS, basically the temu taliban, are growing in the muslim hardline states. if they ever get any real power malaysia is going to be unliveable for non muslims. chinese families already send their kids to universities in australia, uk, usa and tell them to start their careers there and not come back
>The Borneo part, remarkably, is heavily Chinese.
it just seems that way in some towns because labuan, sabah and sarawak are the only states that are malay minority. see pic related. the majority of the people in those states are native tribespeople. basically headhunters and the like

>Their public transportation is the most boring experience I ever had
It's clean, cheap, efficient. Since when is public transport supposed to be an adventure? Go on BART or MBTA if you want a thrill or risk of danger.

>Dating apps are literally all just hookups
Have you been in a coma for the last decade?

>I ate everything that's worth it
Key phrase: "that's worth it". So if someone suggests something unusual or novel (to you), you get to smugly reply "nah, not worth it".

>Almost everyone here resembles a phone zombie with a few exceptions. I don't even believe they have conversations outside. Nobody here looks happy. People don't even smile.
People are just living their lives. They're not in a circus to amuse dopamine-deprived tourists.

>What even is there to do here?
Do you actually want to know? Or are you just going to bitch and dismiss suggestions and/or claim you've already done things that you really haven't?
>Pulau Ubin: take ferry and rent a bike for a ride around the island
>Sentosa: all the touristy stuff, including Universal Studios
>Botanic Gardens
>Zoo, Night Safari, and River Wonders
>Bars/clubs at Clarke Quay
>Many museums
>Many temples
>Arab Street, Little India, Chinatown, Marina Bay
>Haw Par Villa park
>Mount Faber park
>Fort Canning
>Esplanade performance
If you're not a druggie, coomer, or poor, you can find ways to entertain yourself for 2 short weeks.

I like Singapore. It's chill, the foods nice and it's safe, with some interesting history too. I really don't get the hate.
>>
>>2873130
Excessively civilized. Some people prefer being around primitives, especially when they travel. What's the use of seeing 1000 pretty girls if not one looks in your direction?
>>
>>2873150
Don't care, because I'm not a coomer or a "pick me" boy.
>>
>>2872150
>If you're not a druggie, coomer, or poor,
Singapore is actually a bit of an under-appreciated gem for cooming.
