Why haven't you been to San Marino? It's so close.
>>
>>2884440
Good question lmao
It may be close, but it's not easy to reach. It's high up in the mountains and it can only be reached either by car or by bus from one specific city. Plus accommodation is quite expensive and I don't know anyone who lives in the area. There's not even anything interesting to see that couldn't be seen in any nice random italian old town, just with the added novelty of it being a sovereign state. I'll definitely go there one day, but still haven't found a good reason to do so yet
>>
>>2884424
I love KG so much. The nature is amazing and the hospitality is the best I've ever experienced. The people are so friendly and open.

>>2884435
Bermuda is comfy. It's a cool mix of African, British, and American (due to proximity) culture. It's really easy to see the whole island in a couple days. Some people just stay on resorts but it's totally worth a visit going around visiting the little towns and hamlets. I'm not much of a beach guy but I really loved Bermuda (been twice). It makes me want to explore more Caribbean islands.

>What's Missisippi like?
Amazing. I spent most of my time there in the Delta and wow it's like you're going back in time. Poorest and blackest part of the USA yet they welcomed me with open arms. Funnily enough I saw some Euro tourists but basically no Americans because of the horrible reputation the delta has. I had some amazing experiences just staying with locals in these bumfuck towns, playing pool, and eating soul food. It was awesome.

How was Chengdu? I'm about to go to China again when I leave Bangladesh and I only have 10 days since I'm an Amerifag. I'm doing Chongqing and planning to do Zunyi after but I'm wondering if I should do Chongqing, Chengdu, and Zunyi. How many days do you think are good for Chongqing? (I'm assuming you saw Chengdu and Chongqing based on your map)

Also... how did you end up in WV as your only state? That's pretty amazing lol I love WV but it's not usually attracting foreign tourists

Uttarakhand is chock full of Hindu spiritual tourists, including thousands of pilgrims who walk vast distances for various pilgrimage events. Yes, there are still parts of the state which are sleepy and rural, including vast areas of backcountry villages far from the principal highways that offer zero visitor services. Uttarakhand as a whole is a lot busier and more bustling than neighboring Sudarpaschim province in Nepal.

The Kedernath/Badrinath area is one of the top mountain destinations in India.

We did visit both Chengdu and Chongqing. Chengdu is really fun, especially if you like chinese history there's plenty of it there. Visiting a panda park is a must, there's a bunch of them, just pick the one you like the most (we went to the one in Dujiangyan and had a great time, most people go to the big one in Chengdu city (Wuhou shrine being important for its connection with the Three Kingdoms period for example). There's also Leshan, Emeishan and Dujiangyan/Mt. Qingcheng nearby, all of which are easy day trips via the HS railway.
For Chongqing, it honestly depends. The highlights of the city itself can be seen in maybe 2 days, 3 if you want to take it slow and really soak in the atmosphere. But while you're in Chongqing you really really should also go to Wulong and Dazu. Especially Wulong. If you're in Chongqing and don't take the HS railway to go to Wulong you're genuinely missing out. Seriously, go to Wulong

I actually also went to DC in the same trip, my first and so far only one in the US. It was a work trip. I work a job which sometimes requires me to go to very specific and occasionally rather obscure places.

Faroes was amazing, I have actually been twice. First time I explored the whole island in a rented car and just camped all the campsites in a tent to save money on accom. Nearly every island. Second time I got into a program to repair the hiking trails for free accommodation. It is fucking beautiful and you can't take a bad photo of literally anywhere on the island.
But it is super windy, out of like 17 days total I spent there I only got like 3 days rain which is pretty decent desu.
>What are Faroes like? I really really would love to go and rent a car there. Seems kino
go, it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited, expensive but definitely worth it. Take the ferry on the way there from Scotland, I stayed in the dorms and had a whole level of the boat to myself as everyone is in a car or an old person staying in the private rooms, was kind of eerie

This year I visited parts of the Middle East and Southern Africa. I was going to follow up with a few more places in Asia like Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Laos but I got burned out after too much traveling.

Highlights of this trip:
* visited Libya and Egypt
* "reverted" to Islam just to visit Masjid al-Haram in Makkah & Al Masjid-e-Nabawi in Medina. I genuinely reverted. I spent hours memorizing the lore and practicing the prayers. It was a really unique experience.
* tactically visiting Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, and Zimbabwe in just two days since they are all next to each other.
* went on a safari in Botswana and Kenya. Luckily saw all of the big five game animals (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and african buffalo).

No more traveling for a while, flight prices are still inflated cuz of the war. There are fewer flights and I don't want to pay a 50% premium. I might visit south america this winter with my friend to check off a few places but other than that, nothing planned.

Went to Berlin to explore German (specifically Prussian) culture. Found it uninteresting, like Americas most built relatively recent, little history pre-1800s. Berlin Wall only metal poles now, free museum uninteresting. Checkpoint Charlie boring. Nightlife looked fun. Lots of drug addicts and alcoholics, comparable to NYC with less hustle (still people try to proposition you, not aggressive in my experience). Book Reichstag in advance, easy.

Paris very good, can spend days in Louvre. City fun. You seem like you enjoy fun. Do you have a GF? Your map reads like someone who's girlfriend is 'adventurous' and takes him places.

Japan 5 times so far, 19 prefectures hit, many more to go.

France twice.

Austria and Taiwan once.

I just like Japan too much and keep going there instead of other places. Would like to hit up Italy, Germany, Korea, Taiwan again and plenty of others.

>Went to Berlin to explore German
while Berlin in itself is a cool city to visit for a weekend
it's also one of the shittiest places for pre WW2 German culture & history
>(specifically Prussian) culture.
KEK

there are some places like Zitadelle Spandau, Charlottenburg, and of course Unter den Linden / Brandenburger Tor
but otherwise Berlin is pretty disappointing in that regard

should've left Berlin
literally just an S-Bahn ride away
>Potsdam
is awesome for Prussian stuff

>Schloss Rheinsberg
is nearby and the predecessor of Sanssouci

>Brandenburg an der Havel
is also extremely cool
generally the region
>Mark Brandenburg
is the origin of Prussian culture
so that should've been your target
