>Stan... I can't really say much about him.
>Kyle is just a boring mouthpiece
>Cartman is basically neutered and can't do/say anything truly shocking anymore
>Kenny is a nonexistent prop
>Butters is about 1/3rd Cartman at this point
So why not a Craig's gang episode?

There was a time when I would look forward to a new South Park episode. Now I haven't watched an episode in years and have no desire to. I'm just hoping that since "You're getting old" episode it's been one continuous and sustained trolling by Matt and Trey. But I'm afraid it's not.

Its wild to me how bad its gotten and bow genuinely funny the old stuff still is.
Up the Down Steroid came on the other night and I couldnt stop laughing
>Cartman, I really think of you do this youre going to hell
>Well you see Kyle, youre a Jew, and your people have no morals. Have you seen the Passion? Ive seen it 5 times.

A South Park thread has 7 replies in one and a half hour. It's so finished. So the only thing they do now to get any views or engagement is to throw DONALD DRUMPH!!!! out there in every episode so TDS redditors and foaming at the mouth magapedes will watch and autistically screech about it. Because nobody else is watching. Even someone like me who was a huge fan with every season up til about 10 on DVD that were watched dozens of times. Fucking sad. It used to be so good.

I'd say S17

i watch more zomebue simpsons than i do zombie south park. i think the last real preachy episode was where there was a musical doompost about blue collar jobs and the solution was literally “learn to code” tier nonsense

Id argue somewhere in the early teens is when it started to noticeably lose steam, but Ill agree you can still find a couple gems up to and including S17, like ScrootieMcBoogerballs and Ginger Cow.
Personally I think 13 is the last season where I think your average fan can say over half the episodes are still funny or can quote them.

Oh. Right. And some of you twenty-year-olds think you've "been watching South Park since forever" and are super mature, now.

Nigger what are you babbling about? It's fucking terrible now. In a decade no one is going to look back fondly on cry baby episodes of the don, hallow be thy name. Might help if you maybe meet a women though and go on a date?

For me the decline started when Randy went from being a side character to being pretty much the primary focus and de facto main character of the entire show. Don't remember exactly what season that slide started with.
