>Feared outlaw Quirt Evans (Zachary Levi) staggers onto the land of rancher Thomas Worth (Tommy Lee Jones) expecting a quick death, not mercy. But the rancher’s daughter Penny offers him a chance at a life beyond violence. Now, with an outlaw gang led by the ruthless Laredo Stevens (Neal McDonough) threatening his new home, Quirt must decide what kind of man he’ll be when the world demands blood.

Levi was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, the son of Susan Marie Pugh (née Hoctor, 1950–2015) and Darrell Alton Pugh (1946–2023).[2][9] Zachary is of English, Welsh, and German descent.[10][11]
Throughout his career, Levi has been mistaken as Jewish.[73] Early in his career, a Hollywood agent persuaded him to change his name saying, "A guy named Zach Pugh would not be going far in Hollywood," which led him to drop his last name.[74]
Levi endorsed Trump at a "Reclaim America Tour" stop in Dearborn, Michigan.[83] Levi expressed fear he might face rejection from Hollywood as a result of his endorsement but concluded, "What is it to gain the whole world and lose your soul in the process?".[84] In May 2025, Levi followed up on his fear and stated there have been actors that have directly told him or his management team that they will no longer work with him due to his public support for Trump.[85][86]
In a 2022 episode of the podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, Levi described Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson as "one of the deepest thinkers I've ever heard break down human behavior" who "has a lot of integrity".[87][88] In January 2023, he agreed with an online post that said, "Do you agree or not, that Pfizer is a real danger to the world?", leading to allegations of echoing anti-vaccine sentiment.[89][90]

Will they still be Quakers? I feel like the average viewer these days won’t know what they are. Maybe they’ll just be “simple life” types. But without that dimension it’s really not all that different to Shane, with a Father/Daughter instead of Husband/Wife.

>start off as a shitty christan/right wing themed studio that had to be crowdfunded
>now making legit secular movies with big name actors like jk simmons
they might as well ditch the whole conservative shtick

They didn't make Animal Farm. It was sitting on a shelf finished for a year and bought it. Their animated films have been some of their biggest releases. They also got Sound of Freedom in a similar way. However, they don't seem to understand how repulsive Seth Rogen is to their more online audience, nor be aware of how the movie becoming a critique of capitalism puts people off. There are reasons why nobody bit on this movie for a year and I doubt it's because it's centred around Christ.

Clearly. It's one of the weirdest movies they're putting out. They had two animated films last year and both grossed over $80 million (which makes them some of their most successful releases). I guess they wanted more animation ASAP and grabbed whatever they could find available. If it flops, I can't imagine they'll do something as dumb again.

He’s admitted to changing his last name to get roles. And it seemingly worked until Shazam 2 flopped and he decided to show his power level
