How many times can you talk about rape?

This show has done actual damage to society.

Because they're a special victims unit, to watch regular Law and Order if you want detectives solving murders

The guy who tunes an AI model into generating new classic episodes of (regular) Law and Order with Sam Waterson, Michael Moriarty, Jerry Orbach and Dennis Farina will win all boomer money until the last one dies.
>>
>>219822065
Actually it was surprisingly ahead of the curve.
>little girl kidnapped by pedophile demonic worshipping elites
>her father is a former cop whose reputation was destroyed when he absolutely massacred a low guy on the pedophile elite totem pole that killed his own baby
>Dad and little girls imaginary friend team up to save her from being corrupted and/or killed as middle management of the pedo elite try to send various goons after them
Also something about a literal demon that jumps bodies and has ran the elites for hundreds of years
>>
>>219821181
>only character who manages to have anything resembling a normal life in spite of working a job that takes a horrific toll on everyone's physical, mental, and emotional health; succeeding in protecting his kids, saving his marriage, and even having another baby
>spinoff series opens with with his wife getting carbombed and his brother being assassinated and his kids falling into criminal behavior
they did my boy dirty

McCoy gets really cringy and lawfare-y starting with the mass shooting episode in season 10. Then the post 9/11 episodes are barely even plots, they’re just thinly veiled soapboxing

Wooah boy this would not be said on the show these days. I caught my wife watching some modern Law and Order the other day and it's so blatantly cucked it makes Shondaland slop look like DW Griffiths.

What the fuck. Law & Order is still going? That's got to be a record.

Special Victims Unit deals with crimes against children too. Not just sexual. Some of the best episodes were the fucked up foster care ones. But then eventually they just made it the rape show and half the time there isn’t a victim because it’s a serial rape killer (always white and well off)
>>
>>219824090
Well when you've gotten so stale that even boomers aren't watching you in droves, and they'll watch ANYTHING, you have to try to get a new audience. Why not tattood pierced clown haired tranny freaks?
>>
>>219824172
SVU's problem was that it was inevitably going to have to up the stakes to try and sustain interest, and when your starting point is sexual assault, child trafficking, etc. it's gonna get ridiculously fucked up before long.
>>
>Watching SVU after Stabler left

Why not just make my low stakes procedural slop. I don’t wanna watch a Milgram experiment themed supervillain

Meloni pulled off bald quite well. The key is retaining your masculinity. Statham did the same even better.
>>
>>219821281
They kicked this based actor off the show because he wanted to murder Janet Reno or something.
>>
>>219824090
This has always been a constant because they deal with many people who are just abusing others as they were abused. This ain't an uncommon behavior. They are just making it a matter of race now due to BLM and all of that. They did have an episode when someone raped a character who was a mix of Lauren Southern and Anne Coulter and Olivia was truly conflicted about whether they should prosecute some Antifa fool. Turns out, she was raped by a Maga guy, iicr.
>>
>>219824172
They had interesting cases involving rape because the rapists were truly fucked up people. Eventually, it was just random guys who slept with women who took bad decisions.
>>
>>219825078
Barba, Amaro, Amanda, and Carissi were good characters.
>>
>>219825455
> Stone's departure from Law & Order stemmed from actor Michael Moriarty's dispute with the network and U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno, who in 1993 began promoting legislation to limit portrayals of violence on television. Moriarty, who was outspoken against Reno and what he felt was government censorship, was scheduled to appear on NBC shows Today and Now with Tom Brokaw and Katie Couric, but both ended up canceled. Moriarty had already taped his segment for Now. For his Today show appearance, during which he was scheduled to debate Senator Kent Conrad, he was replaced by FCC chairman Reed Hundt. Both appearances were scheduled to air on January 26, 1994. Moriarty submitted his resignation to producer series creator Dick Wolf on January 25, 1994, and his departure was written into the series.[15][16]

They made two good he said, she said episodes. One of them ends with you not knowing who was truly telling the truth, and the other ended with the assailant making out with the victim in court when he was found innocent
>>
>>219826416
>One of them ends with you not knowing who was truly telling the truth
"Doubt"? That's the one with Shannyn Sossamon as the victim.

Criminal intent felt draining, half the time Gorim would spend the last 15 minutes monologuing while the suspect’s lawyer says nothing. I liked the Logan sodes. Every season he had a new cute girl

Raped women's entire personality is "I was raped".

Caring a lot about rape is anti-feminist, since it values women by their sexual access. Yet when I tell rape victims that they throw things at me

I knew a girl who was raped. She filed a police report, showed me the ticket the LAPD gave her that said she'd been questioned and was a victim of 'penetration with a foreign object' , and a few months later she said they caught the guy. Then she refused to press charges, but I didn't bother asking why. Probably because she didn't want to have to go through the court process and sit in a court room with him. Made me wonder how many rapists there are walking the streets that we don't even know about because their victims didn't want to do anything about it.

That's what happens when you're the most coddled people on the planet and are consistently fed the idea that everything belongs to you and then you start to get a reality check that the powers that be never gave a fuck about you in the first place. Gotta look for someone to blame.
>>
>>219831030
I'm of the opinion that if you get raped, you buck the fuck up and report it. If you don't and someone else gets raped, you deserve some level of punishment.
Let's just pretend Harvey Weinstein actually raped any of those actresses. Why the fuck shouldn't someone like Rose McGowan hold at least some partial responsibility if she:
A: was victimized by Harvey himself
B: Wasn't but knew he was doing it to others
And sure, you can say some shit like "she was scared for her career! He'd have blacklisted her!" She had no career for YEARS before Weinstein was caught. She had nothing to lose. But the second Big Harv was caught, then she let it be known loud and fucking clear she knew.

So if you ask me, these "victims" that allow their rapists to go untouched for decades before deciding they need excitement/attention, are responsible for the subsequent rapes, because they had the ability to at least TRY to stop them.
Bill Cosby was innocent by the way.
>>
>>219828021
It's better than General Hospital. That shit's been on since like the 60s.

yeah i think if youre a woman and youre comfortable enough with a guy to talk to him and have a drink with him then youve already consented to sex in your mind
i dont believe any woman who says she was roofied, i just think women get really really drunk and wake up regretting having sex with a guy who didnt want to date them after so they say they were raped
>>
>>219831308
You should coddle us. You want to coddle us. We're good for your neighborhood.

One Piece, 1180 chapters 1157 episodes. It's not even the longest. And even that is nothing compared to soap operas.
>Coronation Street has 11074 episodes
>>
>>219821181
he should go back to law and order special victims unit already.
>>
>>219824172
that episode with young elle fanning explaining how children with no mother affection end up feeling empty for the rest of their lives was brutal, it even shows the cop trying to help elle by adopting her but the kid ends up having schizo episodes because the trauma can't be undone.
