Does any anon here have a guide on bypassing DRM protection that they can recommend? How does one go about downloading web-rips from Amazon? And is there any way around it in yt-dlp? I have bought/rented a couple foreign indie movies on Youtube and Amazon that I couldn't find on the torrent trackers or real-debrid, and I'm frustrated that I can't download them in order to save a copy on my hard drive. Is there anyone with this kind of experience?
I'd love to learn this process and start sharing some of the more underground shits I've been collecting.

not entirely sure if this will help but I have this firefox extension called "video downloadhelper" that lets me download embedded videos on all kinds of sites, including youtube. I've used it to download some of those free with ads movies that are free with no ads if you know what adblock is so I imagine it would work even with movies you rent, as long as the player is open in the window it shows up in the extension

I am looking for this Dutch movie called De Helleveeg (English name The Fury), and I have found a couple torrents but none of them are 1080p and also the subs all suck, but you can rent it on Amazon and Youtube for a couple bucks and stream it in 1080p with subs.
I'm trying the extension that this anon said >>219827056
and I am testing it out on a free but DRM protected movie (Forrest Gump) first, and it seems to be working so far. I made sure it was drm protected with yt-dlp first.

What is the rest of the process? You mean if I turn off browser acceleration I can just use yt-dlp like normal? How does that work?

I am on TorrentDay but I don't have the qualifications to make any requests unfortunately and I heard they aren't good with them anyways. Wanna invite me to any good private trackers? I'll be a good little seeder

Okay so I used this extension and it did fully download Forrest Gump but it won't play in Windows Media Player or VLC, so I'm guessing there is some kind of protection that's still being implemented somehow idfk
