Years of mediocrity managing the brand, a complacent fandom that believes a lot of fan material can replace a good series and cover up bad writing, and then when they finally get something truly good, they complain because it's not the same as the generic garbage they released before, relying on gimmicks instead of something genuinely new... to be fair, you can say the same about Im@s if you think I'm too harsh on LL, but I like this damn series and it bothers me how incoherent it is overall. Niji and Yohane showed me that things can be done right.

I watched it. Lanzhu's mom causes trouble and a rando girl wants to still be an idol even though she plays a lute thing and her girlfriend dumped her. I'm not huge on Nijigasaki so I didn't get much mileage out of it but it was tolerable.
