I just got done watching "Little Amélie or the Character of Rain", and the movie itself was really beautiful and thoughtful and worth watching for that alone... But I kind of felt like Amélie's extreme attachment to her Nishio-san (nanny) felt like a crush, it was really sweet to watch them together. There's an antagonist-like character that even comments on how Amélie will forget her when she grows up, and it made me think of something like picrel where Amélie would come back to Japan to visit Nishio-san when she's older. Their relationship is a huge focal point of the movie and really heartwarming, I recommend it.
