Would a yuri harem game ever take off? Can't imagine the audience being very big.

Personally I kinda hoped Sakura Dungeon would lean into this angle more. Then again that might be a lot to expect of 'that' specific dev.

Would people here like to see a game were you essentially gather girls like they're pokemon? Or are there other dynamics people are looking for?

That would be quite ambitious. Like it might be doable to split adventure parts and daily life parts. Stats you build up in one effect the other etc. During daily life you have only so much time and energy.

But I am totally in favor of getting more yuri games that are not just vn's
