Last thread's fan translation additions: None
Last thread's mod additions: Legend of Zelda mods, Persona 5 Royal mod (Adult romances for Kasumi as Protagonist)

The Linkle/female protag mods may be a bit hit and miss. Zelda isn't that explicitely romantic of a franchise. I kept the Ocarina of Time mods for the lesbian Ruto thing and the Skyward Sword mod because it is technically a romance story.
The Adult Romances for Kasumi mod was deleted from Nexus and Gamebanana, but it was reupped on Lover's Lab and is also available on googledrive.

Just finished Magical Princess, though I'm still missing the part where she goes off to ride with some female motorcycle gang. That event is being elusive as fuck. Any tips? I know I must get my morality below 50 to even trigger naughty events, but across my many playthroughs, 10 loops or so, this one is being a bitch.
Do I have to be stressed or something?
Well, that and the one where she's being naughty while giving a gift or something, but that one isn't hard to get. Probably.
>>4560018
She probably also teaches her realpolitik too.

Oh wow Ledgerbound finally got a release date and it's already this summer. There was like no news at all after the Next Fest apparance, which I thought was weird because it got lots of good feedback. We don't get enough monstergirl yuri.

Okay just so anons are aware, if you want to use reloaded ii on steam deck, DO NOT FOLLOW THE OLD TUTORIAL
you'll have to find the tutorial on how to get p4g running with reloaded ii and modify it to match p5r. It works perfectly after that
>>
>>4560056
Dumbass mods so scared of some stupid UK law that they think 2D fictional characters engaging in a romance (not even anything sexual) is ban worthy. Despite the same romance being in the base game and P5R being available to buy in the UK.

I dont like glasses and I don't like furryshit too much, but this bitch is actually make me play Furry Emblem. I really am that simple.

>>
>>4558603
I do like the idea that they all want to do more with Kasumi but can't until she graduates high school.
But this means that any sister mod is gonna share the same fate
>>
>>4560193
I doubt anybody is gonna make the twincest mod. Aside from the fact that the mod creator has changed a lot of the coding to make it impossible, if you were to brute force it by just rewriting the Confidant and final bonding scenes, you would ba unable to opt out of it. So it would contradict any other romance you went for. Guiess that could work if the player seriously hard focused on Sumire, but it's an awkward implementation.
>>
>>4560199
>the mod creator [of the Kasumi mod] has changed a lot of the coding to make [twincest] impossible
Why? The mod wouldn't work otherwise?

>Motorcycle gang
I got that on second loop and all I did was trash dive to cook heretical burger again and again, so maybe a mix of low morality high stress and high stats.
Btw what's up with Roll?
>>
>>4560187
>>
>>4560356
I'm going to do a bad girl, high stress run and turn her into a neet at the end. Or more likely just leave it halfway and wipe that timeline.

This is just what I read and piece together from finishing the game. Roll had dealings with Ophelia, that's what you find out when you are en route to the alternate ending. Though what I heard on the steam forums is that she once got that power and became a Calamity Witch or something? Might have been in game too but not sure. What actually was in game is she did stuff with the book. And she regretted or feared it or something, with how she explains the book to you, but was not willing to help you any further beyond that. So like how Cornet with her divine power was able to see and use the loops, Roll was able to as well. Whether she kept any power though, I'm not sure.

Also I can't help but notice that every major power in the game is one way or another connected to bakeries. Except (You), your wife and the old guy.
Therefore you'll note that of the original hero party, with 3/4 of them not being connected, they were unable to finish the job of sealing Blackburn, who married a bakery girl and her and her unborn child's death being the trigger for his villain arc.
You were only able to eventually win when Alice and Cornet, both of which are connected to bakeries for a 2/2 worked together.

Therefore I posit the existence of a bakerinati, working behind the scenes, controlling the fate of the world.
>>
>>4560409
Maybe the mystery powder in the night bakery wasn't just cocaine after all.
>>
>>4560411
I mean it's rice flour. But maybe it has some additional stuff in it too.
Like one of the endings had them summoning bread Cthulu, or something along those lines. So who really knows what's in those kopepan...
>>
>>4560411
Also I'll remind you that Crois is canonically one of the more powerful mages around, and she basically drinks sweet buns.
Coincidence? I think not.
>>
>>4560192
Aside from the fact that blocking all UK users is kind of a pain in the ass, this is also futue proofing. It's not gonna take long for the fake morality faggots to censor and control the internet even more as time goes on, so this won't stay a UK issue. And we are talking about the relatively looser interner in the West here. China and its total control state just have to decide tomorrow that having any underage characters in any relationship is illegal and that's that.
Basically just dont expect mainstream sites to be useful for anything but superficial stuff.

Which girl is the cutest romance option for the rose and violet mod? I'm thinking about either futaba or haru....maybe kawakami
>>
>>4560964
Did you play P5R before? If not I would say you should just follow your instinct as you play. Consider though that if you don't want to cheat on the love interest you should probably keep the romantic Confidant at rank 8 till you are certain.
Some come in a bit late, like Futaba and Haru. You dont have to worry about Sumire anymore at least, which was ridiculous to romance as you can literally only reach her romance in the final month.

When it comes to the adult romances it is at least worth mentioning that Kawakami has by far the most events and screentime. She gets two extra story date events because of her affiliation with the school. You can also invite her to the cafeteria and her Confidant automatically makes her very useful and visit your home often, so she just has a lot more presence.
If you do want to go for her it's kind of necessary to get to romantic level with her before September, as that's where the Hawaii trip happens.
>>
>>4560988
I have before! But never as Kasumi. This is my first playthrough as her. Im still only in June. I usually went with Ann but I downloaded the mod that turns her and Shiho into an official couple so I'm not sure who to pursue this time
>>
File: intense love.png (2.3 MB)
2.3 MB
>>4560989
Hm, well if you already beat the game before you should know all the options at least. Unless you didnt get/advance all available Confidants on your first run, which is totally normal.

I can tell you my personal preferences, though that wouldn't really help you that much imo. I think Ann, Haru and Kawakami are the best.

Ann because she is with you from the very beginning and will always be involved in the plot. Though the downside is that the plot scenes never acknowledge who you romanced. But especially with this Kasumi protag mod you get more scenes where Kasumi hangs out with Ann than the vanilla game had.

Haru is just my favorite. I ain't gotta explain nothin'. If you like the murderous floof you gotta hard focus her the moment she becomes available as a Confidant in November. It's kind of ridiculous. At least the Royal exclusive additions give you an extra month with her.

Kawakami, as I said, is the adult Confidant with the most presence in the game and who gets the most unique touches, even if you may not realize it from the surface. Like during Valentines, she is the only love interest who knows from the beginning that Kasumi is going home soon, because she is the homeroom teacher so of course she was told ahead of time. She also has some cute gap effect going on.
Even if you dont romance her, maxing her Confidant quickly is always good as her benefits are some of the best in the game.
>>
>>4560994
I've been told the haru romance is really sweet and it was kinda appealing to me. I'll probably end up doing another playthrough after this one because I want to experience the twist mod for this too please don't spoil it if you have already, but I might do kawakami this round because I was told her gifts are some of the best. Then I'll do haru second?
>>
File: confessiooonnnn.png (1.3 MB)
1.3 MB
>>4560995
You get all of Kawakami's benefits even if you max her Confidant platonically, so don't make your choice dependent on benefits (Haru's confidant benefit is pretty garbage though, because you get her too late).
Just pick who you prefer. If you are going to do both anyway, then the only thing the order affects is which playthrough you are more immersed in. I skipped almost all scenes I already knew on my NG+ run, which definitely made me feel more disconnected from the experience.
>>

>>4561077
Yes.
>>
>>4560576
Yes. Most BG2 companions aren't much to write home about, so I wouldn't single her out as being more one-note than the majority. It's just nice that the EE team felt like adding a pure lesbian LI to a 15 year old game back when they did. We don't get this often on re-releases or Definitive Editions.
>>
>>4561115
Depends, really. Does Hexxat's romance go past the base campaign? Because the original BG2 continue well into ToB, too. Something that many companion mods at least tried to also do.
>>
>>4561193
It does. You won't get her full arc if you were to only play through the original Shadows of Amn campaign.
>>
>>4561193
She was an addition for the Enhanced Edition, which by default has ToB integrated. So it would have been weird if she didnt have ToB content.
>>
>>4561105
lmao
>>
>>4561231
>>4561238
Then it's pretty weird that her romance is considered short. I remember that Jaheira's romance was long as fuck.
>>
>>4561292
Jaheira is a main character, one of the party members that is considered actually important, unlike 90% of the fodder you can pick up along the way.
Also Hexxat joins you in a pretty late game area of the base BG2 storyline, so she has less reactivity to work with.
>>
>>4560839
>>4560840
If you don't read enough, everything is yuri

we must get dumber
>>
>>4561293
She joins you at the graveyard, that's not a late game area.
>>
>>4561293
Aerie's romance is also pretty involved. Especially with ToB installed. But to keep it more on topic, how's Hexxat stacking up to the Sarah mod, since that's also lesbian only?
>>
>>4561295
Pretty sure you can miss her there and only meet her much later again.

>>4561302
No idea. There are too many companion mods, so I just stuck with making the main love interests gay. That one that lets you romance Imoen or the ones that rewrite Viconia and Phaere are probably the best.
>>
Do you think that the mod to do poly in p5r is worth it....I'm having a hard time choosing
>>
>>4561510
Just go with Makoto or Takemi and call it a day.
>>
>>4561510
That doesnt work the way you think it does. It literally just removes the cheating punishment scene, but there is no benefit. It also is made for the vanilla game so it doesnt work for R&V.
>>
>>4561532
Oh. I see.
One of the comments said it did work but I might just end up going for Makoto like >>4561514 said. I did get the Gayer Makoto mod and it's kinda cute
>>
>>4561533
It works in its current state, because it literally just skips the punishment scene. I am talking about when the mod actually does something once the mod author gets to improving it. Then it will be doing rewrites, which will not be compatible with R&V.
Gay Makoto just puts the original Confidant plotlne of protag pretending to be Makoto's lover back in, insead of the cousins thing the R&V mod did.
I will remind you that the adult romances mod is NOT compatible with Gay Makoto. Don't use them at the same time. There are several warnings about this.
>>
>>4561292
To put it into perspective, compared with the base game romances, Aerie's romance in Shadow of Amn has about 20 banters, Viconia's has 25 (as well as a unique encounter), and Jaheira has 35, as well as a fairly involved questline that is weaved into the romance. Hexxat has 12, and they're also a lot shorter and, imo, underwritten compared to the other three.

>>4561302
>how's Hexxat stacking up to the Sarah mod, since that's also lesbian only?
I only got to play through the Shadows of Amn part of her story (bugs related to another mod ended that playthrough before ToB), but I enjoyed what I saw. It's pretty simple and straightforward, but pleasant. The voice acting/sound quality is a little rough, but if you have a tolerance for fan-level sound recording then I would prefer her over Hexxat. If you do try the Sarah mod, I'd recommend using Tweaks Anthology (https://www.gibberlings3.net/mods/tweaks/tweaks/) to unlock the ranger stronghold for your PC, regardless of class, because quite a few of Sarah's romance conversations will only trigger in wilderness areas, and returning for the stronghold questline will help them trigger reliably.
She also has crossmod banter with another mod companion by the same author, Auren Aseph. If she and Nalia are in the party together, they'll also start a romance, so you can bring them all for even more yuri.

>>4561484
As well as Imoen's romance mod, I can recommend Sirene, Isra, and Vienxay. They all have content in Baldur's Gate 1, Shadows of Amn, and Throne of Bhaal.
>>
>>4561534
I'm using both RN and they're both fine but kawakami did have the "I'm a man you're a woman" line for her romance but it still worked just fine
>>
>>4561538
Ugh.... Anon, the whole point of the adult romances mod is to rewrite all those male centic things. You could already romance the adults, but it's the vanilla script. If the "man and woman" line is present that means Adult Romances DOESNT work. You are basically playing without it. You should really check out mod conflicts and load orer before you use a mod.

Now you are missing probably most of the rewrites in favor of a mod that makes an already gay romance slightly gayer in the part where the characters arent even dating yet.
>>
>>4561538
Please just show me your load order... I bet you put some rewrite mod below Adult Romances, which overwrote it.
>>
>>4561540
I thought the same at first but its only been Kawakami who has had that line and in all others she's called me properly as a girl. Takemi talked about me being a girl even in her post romance acceptance phone call. I'll let you know what happens with the other adults but so far everything is fine except that one line. Makoto even had a line about us both being girls and the entire thing was centered around us pretending to be girlfriends.
>>
>>4561536
Romance Expanded is definitely better than all of them right now. If you like Phaere or Viconia that is.
>>
>>4561545
Are you using She/Her Joker perhaps? That one will cause so many more problems if so...
I'm serious anon, this is not how the mod works. You would have to use a mod that overwrites the adult confidants for Kawakami's to return to the default man/woman line.
Usually you would know that the Makoto mod breaks adult romances by the time the post Rank 9/10 phone call happens and it still says "YOU STARTED A ROMANCE THAT ISN'T SUPPORTED. Consider reloading a save."

If that doesnt pop up... then I don't really know how the Makoto mod didnt break it. But the fact that you got man/woman default means it is definitely broken. Adult romance rewrites does more than just change pronouns, so I assume you use she/her Joker.

Please just show me your mod load order... I'm getting real curious here.
>>
>>4561546
I'm waiting for the ToB portion of the mod to be finished before I give it a try, but when that happens I'm looking forward to it.
>>
>>4561550
Nope I'm not using she/her joker. So far the only thing that broke was the last line of the kawakami romance. I'm currently out on a walk but I'll send a screenshot on my load order when I get back. I haven't had any of those issues. The only real issue I've had is if I play for a while the game loses audio and I have to reboot it but that only happens after like 8 or more hours of running
>>
>>4561552
>the only thing that broke was the last line of the kawakami romance
I don't think you would really be able to tell unless you knew what the rewrites are. You did say they used female pronouns though, which they shouldnt do in the romantic events unless the mod worked. It's really confusing.
>if I play for a while the game loses audio
....that's a whole nother can of weird.
>>
>>4561553
It is a bit hard to tell rn since the only girls I've reached 8 with so far are Ann (who I used the shiho mod with and that worked perfectly) Makoto, which worked perfectly and takemi who referred to me as a gymnist and called me a girl throughout the entire thing.
>>
>>4561559
Oh and kawakami of course who had that one line where if I wanted to romance her I had to say I was a guy.
>>
>>4561559
>>4561560
Nothing about the adult Confidants up to Rank 8 was changed anon. They were already rewritten in R&V by default. All changes by the adult mod are in the romance events.
For Kawakami it's really easy to tell if its broken.
1. When you can choose to romance her the "THIS ROMANCE IS NOT SUPPORTED" still pops up. That means the adult mod is broken.
2. Kawakami still calls Kasumi "master" instead of "mistress" in any of her Post Rank 9 events.

Pic related is what Rank 9 is supposed to look like if the mod works.
>>
>>4561563
So far then she's the only one that's broken because I was able to romance Takemi without any issues. The other adults might also be broken once I get to that point but Takemi was just fine so we'll see?
>>
>Cyberpunk 2077 launched with an explicit lesbian only romance
>despite having only 4 romances
>and despite being a AAA game
I didn't realize how impressive that is. The closest thing I can think of to it is DAI, and that game had way more romance options so it was way less intrusive to have one or two be gay. I'm not sure we'll ever see that again. Meanwhile:
>owlcat
>makes way more niche games with less absurd sales targets
>routinely makes risky moves that could offend the core audience
>don't do 'playersexual' romances
>yet they've never done gay romance across 4 games, only bisexual
>usually those bisexual characters are either total hedonists/damaged goods or non-humans, never characters who are just willing to romance someone of the same gender because they're gay
>best bi romances are DLC, gotta pay extra
>when asked about this they talk about 'realism' or some bullshit
I love owlcat games but they've gotta get their shit together. RT launching with only Jae and the Eldar as the closest things to a /u/ route was just insulting. Sticks in my craw, I'll tell you hwat.

Supporting a company that treats you like 2nd class citizen is certainly a choice.
With that said Dark Heresy being allegedly fully voiced is making me some what interested again, and the beta already included a bunch of female characters and supposedly with more to come.
>Hypatia: a tech priest
>Re'Akahti: a bird alien thing
>Discordance: a blank
>Aspyce: A rogue trader
>Epione: a black medic
Seems like an alright pack but the promise of more characters actually makes me worried everyone will end up shallow with limited personal quests instaed of fleshed out.

Okay sorry it took so long. This is my load order with all the frameworks and other solid boxes below this point. I've tried every romance and there was only a minor hiccup with one. Chihaya Mifune on her phone call said "you have entered a romance not supported" but then immediately continued the conversation like normal and I had a rank 10 conversation with her just fine. She addressed me as her girlfriend the entire time. Ohya didn't give me that error when she called and referred to me as her girlfriend too. Both called me Kasumi throughout the entirety. The only one who seems glitched is Kawakami and idk how her 10 goes I'll check tomorrow if I remember. But yeah, the two mods don't really seem to break each other
Btw this is on my steam deck which doesn't have the same audio crashing as my PC one but yeah

Alright, so first of all, put Adult Romances BELOW all other rewrite mods. This is something you should always do, so it overwrites everything else.
The phone calls use the same file as Gay Makoto, but Gay Makoto has some absurd priority that always triggers, due to some programming thing, so that's why Adult Romances is not compatible. Gay Makoto will always overwrite the phone calls. The fact that they displayed the warning, yet also were rewritten is really odd...

This is my load order, in which all the adult rewrites worked fine. I disabled Gay Makoto though. I cant see what other mods you have below the ones you screenshotted, so I can't really tell if one of those broke the Kawakami event. I cant imagine that AnnShiho or Makoto would directly affect that event...
>>
>>4561682
They're just the solid ones that are like the frameworks and stuff. I'll try that thanks

>>
>>4561687
Never understood this bitching about bi romances. Literally the easiest way to please everyone. Better than having a single token lesbian option and being locked out of all the other romance options.
>>
>>4561689
Honestly I've always been a fan of player sexual characters
>>
>>4561691
I mean, it's certainly functional. But that usually comes along with a lack of actual acknowledgement of the player's sex and then it feels hollow.
>>
>>4561536
It's actually kinda sad that most mods are probably inactive now, or else they might try to fix the voice acting since so much better equipment is out now compared to back then.
>>
>>4561693
Fair. They should definitely acknowledge the players sex. Can't argue that. But I still think it's nice when games have at least something and I don't have to go out of my way to get mods running and stuff in order to romance a character I like.
>>
>>4561694
I mean fixing old audio is kinda hard though. These days they would probably use synth and AI voices, which is... just a different kind of scuffed.
>>
>>4561695
Yeah. Hence why I said bi romances tend to be the best compromise. They are written with the character being attracted to women (not just the nebulous player character) and make female romance options available to a female protag.
Course there are issues with this, like bislut backstories with males or in games where you play as an actual female protagonist that you don't have to select or create, where it feels more like a detriment that the love interest is bi for no reason.

But if you think about the bitching people did about Sera in DA:I, it's clear that having lesbian exclusive options doesn't matter if the anons specific preferences aren't catered to. They don't actually care about the exclusivity, it's just smoke and mirrors.
>>
>>4561666
I'm honestly waiting for the eventual DLC. Mainly because the companions included are pretty involved (also Kibellah is straight up the best romance in Rogue Trader). That said, hard to say who the romances will be and who won't, since we're already looking at way more companions than the previous games. Maybe Aspyce for the bi romance. Because she already got a daughter and is allegedly a heretic. The blank might be interesting, but would also be difficult to write since their very existence makes them hated.
>>
>>4561696
No, just re-record the lines with modern equipment is what I'm saying.
>>
>>4561660
Call that other anon a schizo all you want, but he's right about how you framed your post.
>Cyberpunk good because lesbian exclusive, thus Owlcat bad for not doing it too
>make hedonism bad to exclude Jae and the Tief Twins
>make non-humans bad to exclude Arue, Wendu, Yrliet, Nyrissa
>"damaged good" either means bi character who romanced men before or like... characters with baggage? That could be anyone
>only DLC romances good was made to single out Kibellah, as if it was a bad thing
Even if you apply all these extreme modifiers, you still got several romance options left (Galfrey, Jocasta), so it doesn't even work. But it's obvious that these were made specifically to exclude all the w/w options people liked in their games and frame it like they are somehow a negative.
If you didn't do it intentionally, then props for subconciously making such a fallacious post!
>>
>>4561705
Ok, but like... most of thse are 20 years old? I dont think you can get the same VAs back. I suppose you could get new VAs, but these are usually passion projects so it feels a bit iffy. I know several BG2 modders who are still active with other games, but I doubt they would go back.
>>
>>4561694
Tbh OG BG1/2 voice acting was also bad audio quality. It kinda fits!
>>
>>4561666
>a bird alien thing
Kroot. Didn't know they had genders.
>>
>>4561792
They always did. But they are usually not capable of human speech and are kind of tribal level stupid. Not really something you would want to romance.

Persona 6 rumors about sibling protags are surfacing again

>NOOOO these arent reliable

I dont care. I saw them and unwittingly got my hopes up so you have to get your hopes up now too.
Sources are coming from places that accurately leaked previous Sega and Atlus plans.
>>
>>4562151
If P6 doesn't have a fem-protag I'm not gonna have any interest in it whatsoever.

Of course, even if announce a fem protag from the get-go, that'll only serve to set up for greater disappointment when it turns out there's only het romances for each of them.
>>
>>4562151
>sibling protags
They're either going to pull a Hoyoverse and have a gender select character, or do the Atlus thing and have a forced male MC.

Speaking of siblings, Sumire is not romanceable in the Kasumi mod, right?
>>
>>4562158
Correct. She is not.
>>
>>4562168
I am sulking.
>>
>>4562151
I mean, this can only go a couple of ways.
1. Sibling protagonists, you pick one or the other. The unpicked sibling plays some secondary role that splits them up from the main group, leaving femC as the leader.
2. Siblings are both protagonists simultaneously and you pick which one you control, but the other is still present and because of how Persona works, will actually be the one doing most of the talking. Meaning a femC playthrough will actually make the male MC stand out more...
3. Duo protags, you switch between them for different sections of the game.

Mind you, siblings doesn't mean brother/sister. It could also be two brothers or two sisters. But we all know Atlus will not make a game without a male protag anymore, so sis/sis is very unlikely.
>>
>>4562236
You forgot the most likely: "sibling" protagonists but you only ever play as the guy.
>>
>>4562240
That would just be No.2 without the selection part.

>>4562366
Whether I trust those leaks or not, it's a pretty common way to handle it. Seems all path lead to option 2.
But like I said, that's actually one of the worse outcomes for us, because the party member sibling will be able to be an actual character, while the protagonist will be a nearly silent self-insert.

On the upside with that kind of set up I can see people modding the game to use all the dialogue from the sister-as-party-member route and implementing it for her protagonist version.

But before any of that we first need to see if there will be any yuri Social Links. It would be nice to have another Persona game you can actually recommend without mods being needed.

Some of us are doing that, but if it's not a VN or RPG Maker it takes several years to get there, so we still kinda wanna play shit during all that time, especially considering that after we've been through hell and back we'll have gained 1 game, even though it's going to be the best possible one we could realistically get for ourselves in our lives.
Well, until we make the next.
>>
>>4562440
Harvest Moon Cute had no yuri anon. It was the female MC version of the male protag game. Neither had gay marriage, not even in function. You just could live with your best friend which was not treated as a romantic thing.
I havent heard anything about it being censored, but it certainly wasn't worth playing even in JP.

I could swear I saw someone make an actual gay mod for it though. Surprised it's not on the mod paste...
>>
>>4562440
The only mod I found is one that makes Skye (one of the male marriage candidates) a woman. Except they are only text changes. I guess he looks sort of androgynous, but I doubt that's enough for most of us.
Seems like a lot of cope for this Harvest Moon game, when we not only got half a dozen actual gay mods for the other games, but also got the Story of Seasons remakes with full on canon same-sex marriage.

It does look cute, but the problem with games like this is that yuri requires at least two characters, but the protagonist is basically a walking user interface, so it feels like the love interests are marrying thin air at best, the player himself at worst.
It's a shame because they could all be easily fixed by giving them character-driven stories instead, but of course they have to cater to self-insert freaks first.
>>
>>4563311
>You can dislike a defined protagonist, you can imagine any kind of lovable trait on your self-insert.
self-inserts in these games are popular because the waifufag crowd wants to marry their waifus themselves, not give them to some other guy
that's all there is to it
>>
>it's a farming sim, but instead of improving your own relationships, you help the love interests fall for each other and attend their weddings
There, I made the self insert game actually yuri.

This game really is pretty high quality. Voice acting for most scenes, lots of random character appearances in jobs, events and encounters really give the NPCs a lot more presence. Chocolat works near the fields at the outskirts of town, so of course she would see Alice working the fields and say hi. Crois is obssessed with bread, so of course she would hang out around bakeries and compliment Alice at her work there.

Chocolat really is the epitome of the perfect yuri onee-san too... It's hard not to focus just on her, but I have to try and balance my attention during my first playthrough! All the girls in this are really good. Even non-romancable NPCs. They need to make Crepe and Roll into proper befriendable characters at least. Pleaaase.

Magical Princess really lacks a red flag yuri option like Lebsa in Volcano Princess. We need to petition for an update/DLC adding a dastardly rice empire agent corrupting Alice into becoming a traitor to the crown by the power of good rice bread and good pussy.

I just beat Gales of Nayeli, what a 10/10 game. The /u/ department (and romance in general) is light but man the gameplay, map design, strategy, all top-notch. It's also long as fuck. The game is so janky but man is it made with soul.

who did yall romance? I romanced Keri
>>

>>4563052
I just looked at the kickstarter page, man they really need a better portrait artist. It's better but it still looks like it was drawn by a middle schooler setting up his deviantart portfolio.

As is the case with other yuri games unfortunately....
>>
>>4563571
It's still the least janky SRPG Studio game I've played. This engine is just awful, and I need to applaud anybody who makes anything worthwhile on it.
>who did yall romance?
Taking a quick look at the global achievements, Keri still seems to be the most popular option. No wonder, since she's the most obviously connected to the plot, and being able to teleport your thief/decent bosskiller at will is a better gameplay perk than other LIs offered near release. And also to maximise the amount of yuri, since Leila can get a harpie girlfriend on her own, while Keri only has Nayeli as an option. I planned to romance Leila in the second playthrough after the devs expanded the support list, and getting an FE7-style prequel about their dads' adventures seems like a decent excuse to replay it.

+1 on SRPG jank. I thought my mind was playing tricks on me when game started stuttering/lagging. My PC can run cyberpunk max settings and it can't handle this GBA-era game
>>
>>4563596
Thankfully, I made a save just before choosing the LI. Leila and Nayeli can kiss every 5 turns for a massive increase to their hit/crit, and also Nayeli gets the ring that grants her Leila's passive of some stat boosts and being able to wield a few endgame legendary weapons. The guys aren't worth mentioning, so their very situational buffs.
>+1 on SRPG jank. I thought my mind was playing tricks on me when game started stuttering/lagging. My PC can run cyberpunk max settings and it can't handle this GBA-era game
There's a reason most people use SRPG Studio to make porn games, very often giving the player a nuke option to bypass anything assembling gameplay. Esperia ~ Uprising of the Scarlet Witch ~, another somewhat yuri-friendly (which I don't recommend for reasons beyond forcing the MC to marry guys to have a kid in paired endings with women for sequelbait to happen) SRPG Studio game actually crashed on me a few times. Lex Tailonis (work-in-progress engine for more fancy FE fangames) also feels weirdly janky, so maybe it's just a curse haunting everybody hubristic enough to go beyond romhacking GBA titles.

What does searchiong for big boobed characters even mean in an SRPG context? Do you specifically only recruit big titty ladies? Why even have flatties in the game then? For contrast?
I just love the line "it's a serious war simulation game" after all that nonsense. But if it's so hyper-yuri focused I would probably still play it... What's the game actually called?

>>
>>4563633
I did notice there are male recruitable party memberes on that list in the screenshot. But my assumption is that the feature is about picking big boobed ladies, so it might just be a gag about how men and flat chest girls get ignored? It's not unheard of to have male units in a yuri-focused game, but it would be a lot of work to make characters everyone will ignore because of one of the major mechanics the game is advertised with.

Fran came in cute clothes, Alice came in maid cosplay for some reason.
I'm not usually a fan of the whole "tomboy secretly wants to be feminine" trope, because it feels so forced. But Fran's just actually adorable. Alice is so crazy supportive and positive about it all too, without ever talking about the gap effect or anything. To Alice Fran is always cute. She just supports her trying a new style.

Uh.. why not leave out the sprites. This looks so shit wearing different things in the pictures compared to the sprites.
Visual Novels are old at this point, and all you gotta do is look at fucking Japanese VNs and you see how they are doing it. And they are doing shit the way they do for good reasons.
>>
>>4563738
Because they want to show the reaction animations during dialogue. This is a pretty common thing in a lot of JRPGs actually. The 3D model with the costume being different from the sprite/bust-up.

Dragon Chronicles and a bunch of Japanese text. The first one is on Steam, but from what I saw, it's Japanese-only, has a shitton of AI-slop art, and you have to play as both halves of a brother-sister twin duo. The dev seems to have big Berwick/Tear Ring Saga brainworms and is mourning the fact that the genre has become less difficult, so at least they care a little about the gameplay, even if just to absolutely overcomplicate it. So play it only if you want what appears to be a janky SRPS Studio mess made for "hardcore gamers". They also seem to be leaning further into pervy stuff in the sequel the Twitter post was talking about.

>>4564122
You have no idea. I don't think any interpretation of Hershel that doesn't mention what a huge dyke she is has any real logic to it. There is no way that this constant cascade of gay remarks and longing was just based on my own choice at the start. This is an intrinsic part of her character.

Boycotting the game that is actively more relevant for us because of some stupid drama that doesnt affect the game quality is silly. Sends the wrong message to devs, that female protag game is less viable.

Another disaster lesbian Hersh moment. You can see this coffee ad with a hot lady on it and Hersh immediately has (what I assume are imaginary) flashbacks to a woman at training she had a crush on.
You can steal the poster and hang it up in your safehouse. When the safehouse lady asks about why you hung up that poster you can just outright say the coffee lady is a total babe.

This isn't so much about the gayness, but if anybody wants to play this game, I highly recommend internalising the "Ghost Recorder" thought. It provides a bunch of opportunities to reminisce about Cascade's old crew members, which really benefits in fleshing them out. And unlike most other thoughts, the "Violation" that gives you negative consequences is just not taking the opportunities to reminisce or trying to forget. Which you essentially have no reaosn to do. Free bonus skill levels and lore basically.
>>
>>4562937
>>4564534

Played it and finished it in three hours. It's really a casual Shmup with only the penultimate boss being somewhat difficult (but still not too hard). The gameplay is rather simple too. It could have maybe benefited from more complexity.
It has plenty of story and I really enjoyed it, both yuri wise and in general even if it's not the most expertly crafted..
It's 100% yuri. with two couples.
Spoiler ahead
A big part of it is tragic yuri with the prologue girl dying and her girlfriend, having a larger part in the story trying to cope with it during a war against Kaiju. Its a part that I really enjoyed, it's rather bleak and I like how it got concluded, even if it's quite depressing.
I liked Maho and Akira's story even if the pacing felt a bit quick especially at the beginning where it would have benefitted from one or two additional scenes showing how they initially grew closer.

Overall a decent short VN that leave me hopeful for their next project.

>RPGmaker porn game disguised as a farming sim
>literally has the futa tag
Come on anon....
>>
>>4564751
I think the futa is optional from what I can see.
>>
>>4564795
Optional in the sense that you can just ignore most of the game's porn. Because it has mostly just het and futa scenes. You wanna interact with "milking" the evil spirits on your farm, one of the main mechanics of the game? Guess what that entails for a pretty big chunk of 'em...
Like yeah, you can romance these super androgynous lolis and that is yuri, but then you still gotta walk around landmines all game.

Pretty much, this has not a single thing another farming sim doesn't do better. The only thing that separates it is the porn. And I'd wager that lots of people would skip the tedious farming sim and just play an actual yuri eroge then.

It's neat that same-sex marriages adopt children at least and aren't forced down the futa route. Like the game is not off-topic, just... not something you'd actually recommend.
>>
>>4564798
Ah that's lame , I was hoping it was a yuri eroge mixed with farming and you didn't have to do all of that other shit. I think combining farming sim stuff with eroge is a good idea, but not like that...
Thanks for letting me know
>>
>>4564799
I mean it obviously isn't a yuri eroge, considering you can pick a male protag. But that aside, yeah, not a whole lots of eroge farming sims that are actually yuri friendly. That Dreamlife by the Countryside game feels yuri if you play the SFW version, but is futa if you play the porn version. Your only other bet would be mods, like the sex mods for Stardew Valley.
>>
>>4564800
You know what I mean! But still that's disappointing. I was actually hoping it was a better version of Dreamlife by Countryside but I didn't look that closely into it. Thanks for the heads up about everything, maybe I'll look into some of those mods. It feels like such an easy territory to explore but instead it's always futa or het shit

Okay so I'm kind of at a crossroads here in ZERO PARADES.
Turns out the the Subeditor was an operant for a rival organisation. This only adds to the homoerotic tension, that's for sure.

Problem is... the entire hot interrogation scene with her you only get if you GET CAUGHT. Which has so many downsides. It costs you half a day to escape, you get a pretty bad debuff for another 4 hours and this will definitely affect your spy grade at the end.
On the other hand, the perfect escape is an almost impossible skill check which I just randomly aced by accident because I had a lot of Shadowcraft stats from my current outfit. Clearly the escape is NOT the standard intended way for you to progress. You escape without being discovered or having any interactions with the Interrogatrix.

None of the info you get during the interrogation is stuff you wouldn't find out anyway, but you can get some new info about her personally, you can flirt with her and she clearly reciprocates and TWO entire internalizable thoughts are locked behind getting captured. You get none for escaping perfectly.

So I don't know which playthrough to actually proceed in now... I feel like getting to know the Interrogatrix better will open up more gay options down the line, but the price to pay is really significant.
Still... gay interrogation scene. I guess it's worth redoing 3 hours of progress...

I should really get back to this. I think I fucked up by wasting all my money on stupid CD (song was good tho) instead of lockpicks in the first day.
>>
>>4565136
Lockpick has surprisingly few applications that actually matter. But having more tools never hurts. I still don't know what the screamo band CD is even good for. One of the policeman mentioned the band and the party outfits shop girl gives you some flavor text if you bring the band up, but that's all I got till now.

I personally wonder which is the best method of making money period. Finishing main tasks for the Opera gives you some money, so you get some just for progressing the game. There is a Internalized Thought that gives you more money for doing main missions, but it breaks if you do anything for any other faction, so it is awful iunless you play full communist super spy.

There is the trait that lets you rob vending machines. I've internalized that right from the start. Lets you rob vending machines for free every 12 hours or so. 20 bucks a pop. The advantage over doing a part time job is that it takes no time. But it gets violated by doing any part time jobs, so maybe it will lock me out of speciifc part time job related content? Working at the bar also gives you 20 bucks, but it takes 6 hours, so it feels like a waste of time in comparison. Haven't tried working for boat guy yet, but probably the same.

There is also an internalized thought from a side-quest that gives you 5 bucks you say anything pro-Luzian/Techno-fascist. Kinda like the Hustler gimmick in Disco Elysium. Pay little, but might add up. Might be a waste of your 9 Thought slots though.

This is barely a spoiler, but later in the game you need to aquire a gun for the job. There are actually several ways to get guns, but if you just wanna buy it you need 100 bucks. So that's probably the highest amount of cash you can ever need. Personally I am trying to figure out how to build one from scratch using the manual in the gun magazine I found.

This... really hit me in the gut. This game somehow manages to evoke visceral emotional reactions from me with such simple prose. Not as good as Disco Eylisium my ass.

For context, I used a device that allows people to imprint a personality into someone else, basically forcing them to become a perfect copy of you. I used it on the catatonic spy double who was basically killed at the beginning of the game. Made him into a copy of Hershel. That's why he now thinks he is CASCADE and why he is obssessed with Melita.
It's... harrowing, to see Hershel's feelings being projected through someone else who cannot contextualize them. Everything this guy says is what Hershel feels after all.
So when the real Hershel responds the way she does here it really feels genuine. Not like the usual flirting or games. Just... accepting her feelings for Melita that seem impossible to ever get fulfilled. And this whole scene is entirely missable. You dont have to do any of this and you don't have to try and recruit him. You can actually even just kill him instead of talking it out. One could miss this poignant moment completely.

Madokami knows, this game is too good.

I think leveling Personalism high is a very good way to see these emotional connections and longing Hersh has for Melita. But even without that she pops up all the time.
>I would be very disappointed if Hershel never meet her in the end
My thoughts exactly. I wonder if there will be a specific ending where they actually finally meet up. But it seems really hard to do. Melita is in the deepest parts of the Superbloc, central to the Opera's headquarters. She is clearly always being observed even as she acts as Controller for Hersh. She even tries to cirvumvent her supervision to help Hersh at times by using codewords or making vague allusions and double speak. From all context clues I found these two have never met face to face. Ever.
So how could they actually meet up? Is the only way to be a loyal communist dog and pull off the assginment perfectly so Hersh goes back to HQ? Frankly I would prefer if her and Mel could somehow escape this whole situation. Neither of them actually believes in the propaganda (unless you play a very braindead Statehood focused Hershel).
I've let myself get tortured just to have a chance to flirt with Subeditor lady, so I also hope there is some pay-off for that!
>don't like that device
I hesitated to use it too. But when I really thought about it, PSEUDOPOD is just fucked, ya know? Might as well give him a second lease on life. I don't even know if I want him to be my Fool squad member. I just couldnt leave him a breathing corpse... Unlike Yana there is nothing really left of the original, so there is no synthesis... maybe that makes it worse.
