Yeah. That's it. I don't like it or dislike it. It just had me incredulous that's the route they went with for a while. The idea's just that both his younger more optimistic self and his dead daughter save his fucked up adult self. I was also amused because I was predicting those two things as I played and was wondering which would be true and the game went with both. The spiritual shaman side of the story is pretty weird.

There's 26 endings, though 23 of them are bad ends. A is the normal ending, and I'm guessing C is the true ending. B then is the good ending? I have zero idea how to unlock any of them, but I can say for a fact the alphabet cipher has its own cutscene at the end if you fill it out.

Okay I'm like an hour off the ending and have to stop and thread might archive. I don't get it, not really besides what's on the surface and handwaving the religious spiritual stuff. I got really excited at the Roy disappearing point. But seeing as that isn't the focus I'm still at a loss. I'm hoping that the story Eugene broke was connecting the aggressive mountain blasting to the horrible land slide that came after the typhoon. That's about as far as I can get connecting the overall ideas to keep looking even when things seem random and confusing. You know typical photo journalism plotline stuff. Eugene brushing off his own dead baby and telling his wife to get a cat was just horrid writing I don't see why an otherwise relatable and good natured character would be so blunt and emotionally stunted with no other instances of that. That point is so miniscule to him that it's insane. hope I tagged all that right.
