Just finished the game and got ending A.
I feel absolutely no sympathy for the mother.

Yeah. The mother was completely what the fuck?UGH, I don't belong with these PEASANTS. They just don't understand me. But I love you, son, I swear. The ending with his boss is pretty fucked up too. Dude's just stuck in a prison where he hardly gets water for the rest of his life, and I'm supposed to be okay with that because he says he lived a happy life.

Not really a twist, just the story beats relating to her in general annoy me.
All the other characters have been alright or actively endearing. Big fan of the first love and the boss.
Also of course Ren love.

My mom was like that. My dad's side comes from a poor farming village and my mom came from a wealthy land-owning family. They fell in love but my mom ended up cheating on my dad with her childhood friend and six other guys. Shit's fucked /blog

I was expecting this game to be a more light hearted whimsical adventure with your daughter. Why is everything a punch in the gut?

I think they may follow a similar mythos with the spiritualism in the games but every game is very much stand alone. I'd recommend playing Rocket if Whispers and Echo of Starsong at least since they are both pretty short and fun. The day we found earth is pretty bad but I guess its kinda interesting if you are into weird grid based space exploration.

Do you feel like crying and being depressed? It's a game that will make you miserable.

there's missables in this game and some of them are important story memories. i'm not really sure why they would design a game where you can fail to actually view the best parts. you are basically forced to take pictures of everything because there's no indication on whether its actually important or not. you can also be locked out of story stuff too if you select the wrong photo during the puzzles at times too. this is very much a guide game unlike the previous opus games.

Agreed honestly, I managed to get ending A but I couldn't for the life of me figure out what to photograph for the last part at the crashed train and the part right after, so I just have up and moved on.

Nta but if it's any condolences, after you finish the game you get items to make stuff easier for replaying and a chapter selection in the menu. So I think it saves your progress regardless so you can do the other endings if you want.

Likely because there'sthree main endings and 26 "possibilities" to unlock, so you aren't expected to get the true ending on your first or even third playthrough..

>Every single negative review on Steam is made by chinks
Without spoilers, can someone tell me what they're all mad about? Usually I just ignore the opinions of third worlders, but this time I'm curious since the game seems to be getting a lot of praise everywhere else.
