Old Fable was just a glorified walking simulator with fart jokes. I’m glad they are finally making it a real game with actual gameplay loops and a map that isn't the size of a backyard.

Fable was always on thin ice but it was distinct enough in art and it's separation from the real world.
all that got thrown out the window after the first game and as a whole each game lost more than it improved.

the game was supposed to have dynamic flora that grew up together with your fucking character

Its the only setting I know that delibriyely got less fantasical.and interesting as time went on. By fable 4 you would have just been shooting lines of townguards in a single city with no other enemies in the game.
