Asscreed is a game where you run from enemies you know you can easily kill and manages to make running from them pathetically easy as well. The thrill of running from the guards isn't there because of how easy it is and it ends up feeling stupid when the guards are easy to kill anyway. You end up searching for ways to try and make the game more challenging and you instead keep seeing ways the game tries to make things even easier.

If you're saying you played it when you were really young, that makes sense. You might not have noticed how pathetically easy the game is.

Everyone united behind Tiger when they realized he could actually win it. My dad even went back in time and he was so excited watching Tiger in proper form again.

Assassins Creed 2 was good, you're looking at it from the lens of what we have today, with the franchise being milked to death and all with barely any improvements over time. When I played the game in '09 it was insanely fun and a great sequel to the first game.
