was homefront a shit game? I thought it was a pretty enjoyable single player FPS. I hear the multiplayer was good but it was dead by the time I tried.
I mean, it even got a sequel (That one was objectively a shit game, trend chasing open world crafting slop).
I feel like plain single player FPS is a lost art. No game seems capable of just telling a story anymore.

Homefront was actually kind of fun, it's only problem was that it didn't have that "hook" for most players so it never really received the attention it needed to be some smash-hit. It certainly wasn't a bad or shitty game.

I never had terrible bugs or game-breaking shit happen, and I was running a middle-of-the-road rig back in 2011. Sure there were little things like rubber-banding in multiplayer, or some bugs that look mild compared to Cyberpunk 2077 when it was first released, but I don't know what you're up in arms about.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. It’s the ultimate Ubishit game - hundreds of collectibles, the same five bandit camps copy pasted a hundred times each, story starts out decent but then immediately drives off a cliff and crashes into a fiery explosion of nonsensical bullshit, and NFTs. But, dammit, if exploring Golem Island wasn’t the most kino feeling in a long while

This was 50 cents right before the Xbox 360 store closure. It was an OK playthrough, I will replay it some day actually. I have a soft spot for 7th Gen soul. I also got Sniper Ghost Warrior in that sale, another "shit" game with a lot of soul. Wasn't a bad playthrough.
