I'm vaguely interested but the core appeal of the first game was Cool Rat Technology, the core characters being dumbshit children, and it being unapologetically french.
Not only was it novel in many ways, it also had a dark fairytale aesthetic that I think really tied it together.
The second game is really good but in a much more conventional "narrative game" way - it was stil great, but was removed from much of the original charm.
This just seems to be doing that again. It just looks like an Unchartered or Tomb Raider game. Plague Tale had a hook, this basically doesn't.
I'll probably still give it a chance but I don't know how each game has to work progressively harder to prove its interesting - they had a winner on their first attempt, why try so hard to move away from that?
