The series is scary if you're looking for body horror, psychological horror and the like. The gore is lame but what are you to do in a series where every enemy is a toy? At least they get a few good gore moments like Gracie's skeleton.

Maybe if you've never played any other horror games in your life.

If you like Portal and Bioshock then this game is for you. I would at least play the first few chapter to see if you like it before proceeding with the rest of them.

I know this is bait to start a discussion, but the horror is not graphic enough to be "too scary" for players. The lore is still horrific. It's better than Scott Cawthon censoring Five Nights at Freddy's like not allowing Vanny or William Afton to hold a knife.

Preston was an idiot for trusting the Prototype. We might kill him in the next chapter to end his suffering.

Give me a real morality choice where we get to determine the fate of this poor bastard, might actually be a hard call depending on what state Preston is in. He had a wife, some think he had a daughter, maybe he wants to see them again, or die so they never know the truth of what he did.
