I'm on the final chapter right now and I'm not gonna lie, I saw almost all of the twists coming, but I'm still pretty invested.

I really enjoyed it despite being a movie game. I didn't really get everything tho, like the reason of why Eugene ended up in the Dusklands in the first place. Was it because he actually wanted to die? Are the representations really the people he knew or just his imagination? Is the Shade death itself?
It also sucks that Ren is transparent for 90% of the game but I guess it makes sense in the story, I really wanted to look at her more.

Since apparently it's possible to miss shit that is important for the story and to get other endings, does anyone know if I can load the game from a specific chapter/scene so that I can get what I missed from there?

I have zero fucking idea how unlocking alternate endings is supposed to work. Going back to previous chapters has you start from what you had at the start of the chapter.

Also I don't understand what the fuck was the cutscene you get for fully translating the cipher is. It's Eugene (shota) talking to someone before getting isekai'd into becoming Ren O get that but I don't understand what it means nor who that other spirit even is. Ren is his younger self in the form his daughter would've had if she didn't die as a baby. She's also his dead daughter but the purple butterfly is also his dead daughter and Ren is also a nobody becauss delving into the soulsea means you lose all sense of self, so it's possible there's parallel realities in play too, meaning your youngsr self could probably grow up to be a beter you or it could just be one big time loop, I dunno.

Yeah if the requirement is doing 100% I'm just gonna leave it at that, especially if I'm satisfied with the ending I got. When I saw that to get A Space for the Unbound's complete ending I had to 100% the game and get every single bottle cap, I called it a day, it's not like the normal ending isn't good enough anyway.

I got Prism Ending like everyone else, and then it's very easy to get the next one. I looked at the steam achievements and one stood out to me. You just do one thing different for a different final photo. I'm very worried for what the True Ending might need though.

I think you can just assume it's his daughter given that the butterfly guides shota eugene to the fire anyway. Not sure why she's transparent there at the cipher end but then becomes a butterfly in that chronologically next scene of guiding him.

Definitely need to get the nakadashi ending.
