P-ranks are less about speedrunning autism and more mastering the level hence why everybody try to get it

The main point is to not drop your combo for the whole level so going fast to the next ennemy is the smarter move but you could totally walk as long as you don't drop the combo.

P ranks are only for street cred. It's not even that speed-runnery sure you need to go fast but maintaining the combo and getting everything is the main challenge.
