I can see people feeling that way about Living Memory, but honestly only after 7.3. It looked kinda flat in 7.0. And then the other zones were generally pretty basic.
I looked at the new XI raid part as a not-XI player, and that big ass tree creates an interesting atmosphere. It looks like it's high, and enormous - it has that kind of depth to it. Why don't we have such landmarks smack dab in our actual overworld zones?
How about how overgrown it all is, including in the water itself?

bst has a Trick command thats basically a revolving Gauge spender for big dps combos.
Gold, Green, Blue, Red circles light up and add an extra Light or Dark affinity to your Beast Gauge that ends in a big finishing move.
So calling it a skillchain was kinda correct as the Bst and the Beast have to chain their Instinct attacks together to light up the correct emblems on the gauge to access the Light or Dark attacks.
Each emblem attack costs 100 gauge from (you) and your beast and using one burns your whole gauge (cap 250 I think).
You get a skill to instantly fill your gauge for faster comboing.

I'm basedjakking! This will make it not insanely boring as fuck! This will shake up gearing up your alts! What did they even say about Enuo, the totem being removed shit after his? It's an alright start but it is years too late for them to realize autistic tomestone farming is something only the unhinged did on patch, and they likely realized that it was hurting their bottom line in some way so they had to rework it to incentivize people to stick onto the game longer. I think every trial lately dropping 2 was an experiment in that regard, but unless they change drop rates or make it so the vendor has the mount on the patch it drops on, it's still DOA in my eyes. I used to do that mount farming stuff until Endwalker when I realized I could have just spent my time playing new/old video games instead of sitting in dated trials where people can't buttons or breathe air without assistance. It's the same thing with how tomestone farming is. At some point I just gave up on how much they babied players over time that they can't really hit buttons at all so I just autoduty them all for 3 hours on Tuesday reset if I even need to. It's stressmaxxing, the placated playerbase doesn't really have a right to my free time anyways. And honestly I'm happier for it. I give a shit more about if they'll own up to doing anything drastic over the couple of months but I'm not holding my breath. Maybe they'll make tanking less designed for drooler chimps that will only ever see tank busters as 'i voke and have mit running'.
