>>569103997 Jas aside, Carol is by far the most interesting to me out of them all, both in design and personality. She's a fun character who's also extremely versatile in that she can be either a total twisted psychobrat or a surprisingly kind girl.
>>569103997 By cuteness my favorite is Renata. I want so much more romance content with her. But about interesting characters, Anubia of course. Then again the fashion show was one of the best heart event I ever read in this game. I enjoyed it until the very end. I love every girl personality and reaction and how the farmer is just there making them happy by doing what they asked.
>>569103997 obligatory statement that i love all their personalities very much all for a myriad of reasons, but anubia has been the most stand-out to me personally. also, i shamelessly use automate for most things so the fanubia tax helps keep things balanced - although I would be happy to go into debt for my beloved.
>>569112016 I know or I believe BeebzAnon doesn't like much his art but I think is pretty soul. Like, even if the farmer look like that I think this art is way better than many mods out there in Nexus.
>>569131218 He should've had a crush on abigail >both fat, looksmatch >he makes swords and stuff, which she likes as a wannabe adventurer >he also cracks open geodes, so he can feed her rocks easily She's a much better fit for him than Emily
>>569142728 This is from Nobeta's repeatable cookie baking event, there's a list of random events that can happen once per event. Here's Anubia adding an unknown potion to the cookie dough.
>>569150406 There's only dialogue, but some features like gaming and cookie baking are disabled since they require a character to be in a specific position so marriage isn't recommended.
>>569117649 thats too bad, but I get it, its certainly an unusual style and truthfully I wasnt sure I liked it at first either, but it definitely grew on me and added a lot of extra sovl to some heart events.
>>569195195 Damn I hope they come back one day. I want to do a run using the mod one day but when it's got marriage stuff. Same with Jas mod I've heard hasn't been updated and has features disabled.
>>569202737 I have still never seen one of these. I even just did a perfection run, and I had four barns with nothing but pigs. Truffle Crabs are not real.
>>569079126 >Hop on stardew I still got to meet that weird child in ridgeside. Couldn't be bothered finding her on my own, so I know now where to look >>569220757 Isn't it mindboggling? A lot of women out there...
Anyone know who Gorra (monster girl) and Mellie (slime girl) are?
I found them inside a fork of Jas Marriage mod uploaded by a Russian guy, but I don't who they are. Are they the NPCs made by JasAnon or by someone else?
>>569334663 JasAnon's OCs, present in the mod's files up to the 1.6 versions or so. I believe it's worth noting that JasAnon once posted a very peculiar teaser of a green slime in the ground floor mine elevator. I very much doubt he'd include slime raep so I think there's a non-zero chance of Mellie making an appearance at some point.
>>569336108 Personally I'd wait out of respect. The first 1.6 update was the one that, most notably, added the winter outfit. If you need to compare the files the official™ and latest one can be found in the mod archive. https://arch.b4k.dev/vg/thread/562597696/#564197793
>>569367873 The latter is definitely the case since wedding placements support Game State Query conditions as of 1.6. Ape just really doesn't give a shit about anything social-related.
>>569390724 Reckon anon's problem is more that Dwarf is basically an un-character who no one in the town is even implied to know exists At best we can headcanon that Linus, with his placement and mysterious breadcrumbs of lore, brought them along because he knows more than he lets on
>>569335082 That was actually related to an event for NPCA and didn't have anything to do with Mellie. It was for initiating Jas as a companion in the mines. I was trying to have Jas grow from a companion who did practically nothing to one that was genuinely useful to have by your side, but then NPCA died. I made more progress with Gorra than Mellie, but while I like them and still like the idea of them as custom NPCs, I shelved both to focus on Jas.
>>569336108 Whatever you want, please, don't let me hold you up. I did experience your F&H mod and while there's always going to be some creative differences, I think you did a great job on it and are very similar to me in how you're approaching these mods. If anything, I think you've got a lot more patience than I do. There's no way I could have done that many bug fixes. I often go for the exciting stuff and I don't always finish it before getting distracted and it ends up making a mess that's harder to go back and untangle.
>>569343847 I am totally fine with whatever he wants to do. He doesn't need to sign anything off with me. It's not like what I've done disappears. I honestly don't view the Jas Mod as mine to begin with, because I'm also just a guy who took it and expanded on what another modder started. Even if I did, this is the way of modding and he's done well expanding on my F&H mod. I'm also not in a super great place right now, so I certainly don't want to impede anyone willing to give more Jas to the world.
>>569409832 >I honestly don't view the Jas Mod as mine to begin with, because I'm also just a guy who took it and expanded on what another modder started No matter, we all love what you did with Jas and the plans you got in the future. Some of us are less patience than others, but we're all waiting for you. I hope whatever issue you're having over there, can be solved soon. We'll be here waiting.
>>569409832 I have to clarify myself that I'm not the anon who make that F&H mod, you might have mistaken me with the other anon since he also post at the same time.
> Mellie on the shelf. It is such a missed potential for monster girl sex scene, I already have several ideas for her to replace the original saving Jas from monster 4 heart event.
> Often go for the exciting stuff and I don't always finish it before getting distracted.
Me too, the only different that I tends to build a base first before apply the feature on top of it. Not gurantee to be bug free but it is easier to fix, I guess.
> Not in a super great place right now. Best wishes for you, as the other anons said it, we'll be always waiting for you.
New in-game feature I just coded recently, option available when Jas isn't in the toilet room:
>>569499927 Joja(cm) brand(tm) Golden(c) Walnuts(r). They're cheaper to produce than wild golden walnuts, and have the same addicting flavor as Joja(cm) Cola(t).
Ape just wanted to add sandy as a bachelorette But he couldn't not add a man, too, because the women who play the game would be upset about discrimination or something. But there are no real male characters left that fit the bill, so he chose clint.
>>569577138 Realistically it should've been Gus. Fits the older bachelor mold, adds value to a character with barely any content and top it off he's a good lad with an awesome jacket.
>>569577558 >>569577712 No to mention the "Pierre" issue, where if you marry him, he won't be in the saloon, and the player won't be able to use the store.
>>569577875 That wasn't an issue for Maru who continues to run the clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays It would, however, necessitate Gus having a work schedule to leave the house every single day after marriage, which would make him a rather bland option
>>569588470 Not as far as I'm aware. The coding part is that after marriage every spouse needs to be given a "bed" schedule activity that sends them to wherever your bed is rather than the pre-marriage routine that just has them walk to a map location and do a sleep animation. Desert Festival marriage schedules mostly don't send them to bed until midnight
>>569485748 NTA but where are the easy ones? Hope you don't mean speding 1mil+ for the gold parrot to find them. I've only been to Ginger Island twice so far and found five: the one in front of Leo's hut and another four buried in the ground. Sounds like you can fish some up too.
I like how the troon in RSV is very realistic (minus the killing herself part). I mean the part of making a big fucking deal about a whole lot of nothing. Makes a big fucking deal about having ADHD, like a troon would.
>>569641241 heh I think someone mentioned some ftm troon or something that keeps hitting on you unprompted a while ago I figured it was probably that but I play with depoz so idk who it is
>>569645187 >2022 This mod doesn't get updated as much, right? I see East Scrap and Expanded do, but this shit? Almost 2 years and not a peep or nothing.
>>569644863 RSV pisscord is pretty much dead last I checked. The main mod guy doesn't communicate at all and neither does most of the staff/jannies. Also I got banned for criticizing the mod (notably the major lack of player agency regarding shit like Maddie's almost-kiss in her 6 Heart event) and especially Lunna Astray due to all the ancient bugs still in the latest version only for some fag who has staked his life on the mod's reputation to vehemently defend it and call the jannies on me. >>569646860 It was on hiatus because the main dev was busy with university or something, but I think he's done since he finally published a small C# mod not too long.
The only SDV Discord that worth staying is the XDV one, unfortunately the main dev is on hiatus. There are someone who share WIP contents of their mods but most of them go on hiatus as well.
